Yeah, no shrink wrap this time, however the bubble wrap/air bags work like a charm. Zero dents to the box!

MACROSS TAKATOKU BANDAI MAX AND BEN PROTOTYPE CUSTOM SET
505thAirborne replied to KingKong's topic in Toys
If it's a fake, that's the best custom ever! Anyway to find out if Takatoku ever actually made this? -
She has arrived!! Kudos to HLJ with the bubble wrap packing! Everything on the VF looks white on mine, I didn't see any pink hue.

Just got a payment received email from HLJ and that my Millia VF-1J is already in the shipping process!

Just curious if anyone else has attempted to watch Netflix new animated series "Big Mouth"? It's a bit demented but I have a twisted sense of humor.

So no matter what you have to pay up front for the VF-31A? No Pre-order now pay later?

To be fair, Blade Runner released on June 25th 1982. SDF Macross TV series was October 3rd 1982. As for Blade Runner 2049. I probably won;t get to see it til next week, so those who get to it this weekend. Enjoy!!!

Unfortunately, luckily it didn't cost an arm & a leg for the Armament set. The only rational I see for that decision is because in order to install the Weapons, you have to find the little starter holes inside the fuselage & wing sections, then fully drill out those holes so you can attach the hard-points for the missiles & rocket pods.... in other words you no longer can open the side hatch/door for Comm section. I'll post a pic of the instructions if I confused anyone.

Had more free time than I realized today, despite the rain I stated working on the inside and tried out some different shades of tan for the Raptor. I like the one I chose so far!

Thanks derex! I've had an Airbrush set for months but haven't really had the time to play with it... I'll find the time now for this Raptor, factory fresh clean simply will not do! LOL Hope you can find spare (model building) time again soon.

Just the beginning but she's taking shape! Between the actual Raptor & the Armament set, this is going to be fun!

Well after waiting years for this model kit to come out and years after the show ended, I finally have a BSG Raptor for my collection. Much like the Vipers & Galactica, it's a straight-forward build, parts line up nice and flush, no wonky gaps. Pilots look ok, I think the MKII Viper pilots were more detailed but they still look good. For now I assembled just a few parts and the rest are held by tape as the whole interior needs to be glued & painted before you can put the main body frame on. SSWA!
