  1. My Mirage 31C has removable intake covers, can't see why they wouldn't be on this one. Usually Bandai always shows off their Valks with the covers on.
  2. Patience good sir, I suspect that the 31A will be one of the next Holy Grail must have Valks... and you'll soon have three. The wait is worth it.
  3. I look forward to seeing your ideas!
  4. Thanks Rock! I haven't been there in a long time, totally forgot they do.
  5. Kansas City is about 45 minutes from me and none of the shops there carry Tamiya either, so it's online only for me. Look forward to the completed Pegasus! A few months ago I gave up trying to complete Mirages 1/72 Bandai kit, it's a rather fiddly kit IMO, plus the stickers & decals are a pain. So I lightly glued it together in fighter mode since I have Mirages DX version. Not having the funds for three DX 31A's as I had hoped for I decided to free the 1/72 Valk and rebuild it as a VF-31A Battroid. I have a bit of clean up to do and painting yet with five (5) other 31A fighters this will make up for not having a large DX fleet.
  6. I felt my ears burning! I had the same issue with the MKII Viper decals, I ended up spray painting on the red stripes, it beat the frustration of the decals cracking apart. The smaller decals weren't as bad. The decals for the Galactica & Pegasus I felt were much more user friendly... not perfect but good overall. I never got to try the Aztec Acreation decals, but other modelers have sworn by them. That Mercury Class is looking great Thom! (I so miss having a Hobby Shop that carries Tamiya paints).
  7. Well it's about time!! Awesome group shot!! One of these days I'll have to find those Max & Miria pilot figures.
  8. Saw it in theaters, enjoyed it a lot! If your GF watches it with you, it's meant to be!
  9. That is spot on to the Bandai DX (if not better). You did a superb job, congrats!
  10. So this will be the rated G version of TED? I grew up with a 4ft Winnie The Pooh as a little kid, I'll be looking forward to this!
  11. Oh I figured the canopy shield cover was a given!
  12. That SNL skit is a classic! 90's ruled!!
  13. I agree, if the VF-11 should ever be revived by Arcadia it would have to be a completely new design/mold with a lot of improvements. For starters: Fixed pose hands, a lighter shade of grey ( I still feel the 11B is to dark), vertical stabilizer's that match the line art. More diecast for the shoulders and other hinges vs plastic. Improved articulation, A better looking Pilot and a shield that doesn't pop off so easily. These are some starters, I haven't taken my VF-11B out for a while but I'm sure after handling again I'll enjoy it yet other improvements will come to mind.
  14. SSWA! If you ever decide to purchase a Pegasus kit, it will not be your last. It's big, heavy, detailed and frakking awesome!
  15. Those were the days! I can't see Arcadia anytime soon (or ever) doing a reissue of the VF-11B/C.
  16. Lots of great builds in progress!! As a huge BSG fan, that Mercury Class Battlestar kit is a beauty I've been tempted to get another one.
  17. Damn that looks good, great pic as always Saburo! How are those joint holding out, still tight?
  18. Probably just the lighting.
  19. Fans just cheered while their wallets just screamed!
  20. You're off to a great start derex! Glad you've been able to find some Model Building time!

  22. Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has watched the Netflix series Re:mind? I watched it all the way through and I'm hoping for a season 2. Lots of unanswered questions still.
