    go watch it. and if you like it, go watch Samurai Champloo. why would scoring and bets be necessary? in fairness to Marzan, stuff he and others liked you hated, so indeed why would he recommend to you something that he liked?

    just preordered Raynor at a local store. a friend had an elite members discount so it worked out to around $460. had to pay 30% deposit though. this will be my 2nd most expensive figure. now i can move on to daydreaming someone makes a Terran Battlecruiser in the same vein as the Star Wars Action Fleet toys.

    great conclusion to the Tsubasa Tiger arc. how many arcs/books are supposed to be in Monogatari S2? man, i just don't want it to ever end. btw, my Attack on Titan OST arrived a few days ago and it's been giving me goosebumps since. three tracks in particular were exceptional: #3 eye water #5 counter attack mankind #10 EMA while i was watching a taiko performance this afternoon, i kept imagining scenes from Titan quite a number of anime scores incorporate classical instruments, but mostly strings, and rarely horns. so i guess that makes it a bit of a signature for Titan.

    it's a Wonderfest GK. gave up at the 30k mark when i read the fine print and realized it was being sold as an unpainted kit. hope MH does something similar.

    any word on release date? i'd want diecast only on the feet since the design itself is top heavy. now if they would just do a Ghost, either Nova or Kerrigan, or both. but before those, i'd want a Firebat

    it was an ok movie. the train fight was fun. but most of the other action scenes could've used a better fight director. also thought Mariko was a curious casting choice.

    is it just me, or did the vol6 character animations take a hit? not that it's badly animated, just that the previous volumes were superb. this time the texturing seemed simpler and the shading more flat. fortunately the mech stuff remained exceptional and the action was thrilling. really liked how they were channeling WWII Pacific theater. as for Domel i hope they really make a spectacle of the last volume. no scrimping please.

    and here i thought from the thread title that it was about someone getting frustrated by the build and throwing the kit in the trash amazing work! hope you took lots of pics during the build. i'd be very much interested to see them, particularly how you frittered the wings.

    Keith, i'm surprised you've only just seen Kuro, but yeah it's insanely good. i've read that some folks are recommending to newcomers that they watch in chronological order, ie. Kuro, then Bake, then Nise. but personally i think watching in release order is better as it allows one the pleasure of piecing things together. plus, the ending of Kuro which segues directly to the opening moments of Bake made me watch Bake all over again

    last couple episodes of Railgun S (14/15) blew me away. great example of how much the musical score adds to the experience. also, the VA of Accelerator was just freaky awesome!
