Robo-Mc, Hey there mate. Welcome to the MW boards. I am pretty new here myself and I wanted to let you know that, if you love the chunky monkey, than you are loved on these boards. I myself went through quite a few different kinds of macross valks only to find that they never made me as happy as my chunkys do. I see that the two TOP DOGGS (at least in my eyes ) of the 1/55 knowledgable world have already warmly greated you. Currently Skull 1 is helping me out with bits and pieces of my chunky domination. Hey all, I just now took apart my G1 JetFire in order to soak the parts so that I may strip that paint off and repaint him myself or send him to get painted. My question is more so for the fast packs though. I was going to spray paint them black and I am not sure of the process of doing so that the paint will stick well and not come off. Can someone please give me some advice? THANKS.

Heh.....I just happen to have a dremel with a buffing wheel but I am afraid I will go too deep and screw up the plastic. I am going to try that pine sol method this evening and see how that works. Just take all the paint off.

How about this....can anyone give me size comparison pics between a 1/55 Chunky and a 1/72 Hasagawa Model Kit?

Hey all, I was looking to try the Pine Sol method on a 1/55 Jet Fire. Will this method hurt/discolor the die cast parts if I don't feel like taking him totally apart? Or will I need to take the figure completely apart and then hope to remember how to put him back together again?
