Nope sorry unfortunately I already had a huge issue when one of Sony's official firmware updates bricked my PS3. They replaced it with a refurb for free but I had to call and hound them to reset the PSN stuff because it's all tied to the serials or whatever of the consoles.

Well Salvation is actually a decent movie unlike Rise of the Machines which I pretend never happened. Still I prefer SCC to both if for nothing else the extra amount of time they have to develop the characters in a series as opposed to a movie.

I actually tried looking at your pictures before I posted here but nothing was really angled where I could tell if it was similar. Basically if you're looking at the front end the right headlight and cowl section sticks out farther than the left. In addition to that the right fork is rubbing against the shoulder armor portion and straight out of the package it has already rubbed a noticeable groove into it. As of now I'm working with the seller as they have offered to replace it. IMO someone not necessarily the seller had already handled and damaged this figure. The plastic tray had noticeably been retaped and at first I didn't think the windscreen was even in the package. It had some how worked it's way into the motorcycle chassis near the engine and fell out when I picked the bike up. Still the irony is I only really needed it to look good in bike mode to display with the trading figures that are coming out and I got this hassle. I get the impression that those who describe MOSPEADA as overrated are mostly upset/disappointed with how episodic it seems at times. That's totally understandable as it doesn't really develop the overall earth reclamation effort too much and then *bam* you're at the end of the series.

So I finally got my CM Yellow in today and of course the package had been retaped and the windscreen was already broken off and looked liked it had been overly glued once already Sent off an email to the seller already. I'm pretty sure if it comes down to it I can fix the windscreen but I noticed another problem. The front end (cowl) isn't lining up properly and not only is one side sticking out but one of the forks is rubbing against what would be the shoulder armor in ARMOR mode. I dunno if you can really tell in these pictures. Has anyone else had these problems? Is there some way I can adjust the parts?

because you can officially have faster load times and better battery life? It's honestly probably not worth the hassle. Just imagine if you lose your PSP GO or it's stolen and all the hassle you'll probably have to go through just to authorize it to upload all the games you've already purchased.

I dunno that's kind of a moot point considering the general state of the Anime industry in America. Especially for Macross 7 as I can only imagine the licensing nightmare getting all the music stateside could/would be. We were told the same thing in 2006 and then our DVD, theatrical and merchandise sales did gangbusters in 2007, 2008 and 2009. This statement over there just makes me scratch my head. What exactly is "gangbuster" sales? IMO nothing really interesting Has been released up until fairly recently with the ride armors and the TLEAD and even then HG isn't directly involved. Are we to assume Shadow Chronicles sold extremely well on DVD and Bluray? I'm actually registered over there for some reason I can't quite remember at this moment and just the thought of being active in that community gives me a headache

I'd say based on the size of the base of those ICBMs it's going to be a no go.

Well it's not like the sets really have any plug and play weapons anyway. The only thing that looks mildly promising are the rockets/missiles on the helicopter. The rocket pods look similar to the ones on the first trailer base but I'm not too sure if they're exactly the same.

The non-scale vehicles or aircraft are suitable for display with mechas about 12 to 16cm tall or in 1/144 to 1/72 scale. It's hard to say but if they're compatible with the M.S.G. line like wolfx posted they are probably 1/144 scale roughly and should look fine.

That Houquet type looks excellent for the most part. I could nickpick the choice of colour as it looks a bit too pinkish in the pictures IMO. It's really too bad the line is dead because although at the size there's no way I'd buy most of them I'd still probably buy just the Yellow if they did one. Just so I could have the ultimate (so far) incarnation of my favourite MOSPEADA character.

Cool I'm familiar with Rey and Stick's but I haven't handled the others. I might have to make a mad dash to pick them up so I have everything scale for a display. I already have a blowsperior on the way. Anything I should be aware of with the other sets? To be fair every time I've bought a box of trading figures from hlj so far I've gotten at least one full set. It's usually only the secret figure you have to worry about. and even then that depends on the ratio in that particular series. I have fulls sets for all the Macross ones except that one Minmay series because I hate her

Yellow and Houquet are my favourite characters from MOSPEADA as well so it was an easy decision to preorder the trading figure set. All in all it's nice to have the characters in scale and out of armor in general. I just wish Mega House was following suite as the plastic and face sculpts on the CMs leave something to be desired in my opinion. In particular stick and Rey look very toy like. Also the tail and saddle bags are molded in the colour of the ride armor when I believe in the anime they are an entirely different colour (of course the MH version is mounted with a bracket which is also non canon?). Also does anyone know if Yellow's blowsperior missile bays have an open position on the CM version? I think I read "no" in a review somewhere..

They don't have pictures up but I preordered these from HLJ already. I really prefer the Megahouse ride armours to the CM ones but it seems like if I want to have the widest variety of characters and armours for display purposes I might have to shell out for all the CMs too.

I have a Stick's/Scott's alpha I got new for $50 at a Software etc years ago and it's just a huge floppy mess. Nothing broken (as of yet) but I transformed it only a couple of times and decided it was much better in the box I'd really like to get a Houquet/Rook alpha so I'd have kind of a max and milia thing going on but damn once bitten twice shy and all that. Has anyone had any success tightening the joints on these things? Clear nail polish? The one I have won't stand and the arms just flop at the sides.

Unfortunately this contradicts with my monthly airsoft activities so I will be unable to attend. Have fun and someone drink a brew for me though

That's highly debatable. Other than the non locking chest area and the general light/cheap feeling of the 19 there's not much I have to really complain about other than maybe wanting spare gunpod magazines and some tampoing. I think I will buy one eventually but at the moment it is very low on my list of things to do. It seems to me this is a case of Yamato expecting/predicting extremely low sales on this particular model and attempting to recoup costs by selling it an elevated price not reflective of the actual perceived value of the product. I do think I will be sorry I bought it but I am a typical obsessive compulsive over consuming toy collector so that's more or less in the norm.
