  1. I guess they go the 22 route and don't put one at all?
  2. Don't get me wrong I really like them but they should considering the price it is for a non transforming "toy". Still patiently awaiting the lanx.
  3. Got MUF in the mail today but haven't had time to start playing yet. I was trying to figure out a work around to record the extra video play through remote joy for people that didn't get it. So for I have failed but I did manage to rip it and get it to play with the UMD not in the unit. I think there's some kind of memory problem with streaming movies via remote joy? The audio works fine just not the video for some reason. Anyway someone mentioned saving replays to share. You can one up that by using remote joy and posting them on youtube or something. Maybe even give pointers for S and SSing.
  4. Are you insinuating you're too frugal to use it/they're too expensive? BTW you can use the code multiple times
  5. Was it Jim? because he is the webmaster for HLJ He offered me an SV for $150. I was like nah I need to stay away from Zero I already have too much stuff. I did get a 10% coupon from him though.
  6. It's not uncommon for American toy mark up to be in the 50% range. I mean just looking at HLJ how can they afford to sell Yamato merchandise at 40-60% off? Obviously there are liquidation cases where it's better to take a loss on item than have it eat up your shelf space but you see where I'm going with this. Remember MSRP isn't the buyers actual cost...
  7. This is pretty rampant in the Gundam Battle series and instead of getting better in each installment actually gets worse as they add extra eras/campaigns. "Jobber" characters will probably never get portraits or VOs. Just waiting for my copy to reach my door. Don't know where I'll find time to play though, maybe at work
  8. I'm aware the Pink Peckers is not a C (it was from a flash back from when Ray served after all). I'm not really all that interested in Isamu or Macross Plus. So I was only going to get the Plus B because I never thought they would make a C. The novelty value alone of a "Pink Peckers" 11 would trump the C though even if the paint scheme is rather loud/flamboyant. Plus I'm pretty fond of Ray so I guess that helps. an armored 11 would be really nice too but I wouldn't bother getting more than 1 "base" 11. I will admit the bayonet on the B is really neat but I have the old yammie laying around somewhere that I can play with if I feel the need.
  9. I'm still not fond of the price point for what you get but I'm way more inclined to get the C than the B. I'll probably get this next year as I've already got way too much Yamato stuff on preorder for this year already. Knowing my luck though as soon as I get one the Pink Pecker will be announced
  10. Nice! Looking forward to next time as well.
  11. Harry's Hofbrau is really good (I don't get to eat there as much as I'd like) and not far from Kinokuniya really. I should be able to make it but might be a bit late though as I have something I have to do from like 8am to 12pm. I'll be the guy with the HLJ shirt, I was going to wear a Robotech Battlecry shirt just to be an ahole but I figured you guys might stone me or something
  12. You should of made Sony take that back and give you a refurb. Yell on the phone etc, there's no reason you should be forced to update system firmware when it's Russian roulette for bricking out of warranty.
  13. ^this I don't give a sh*t about small scale transforming valks. Now maybe if they had a ton of enemies in scale with them I'd change my mind but I doubt it. Still be better to have 3 different modes sold as stand alone units imo. How can they surpass the absorption pad laden Yujin versions?!
  14. The "buttcheeks" should be fixable by yourself. They do rotate but it's kind of hard to do as the other leg joints usually have less resistance and move easier making it hard to apply force to the right area. You know I liked Halo a whole lot when it was called Marathon. There was a whole lot of crazy story in there if you dug for it. Now Halo's main selling point is it's accessibility and smooth play but not too much else there really. I play it for the Co-Op personally but I'm not real into the general FPS genre...
  15. I collect the Halo series myself. There are some serious issues with joints getting stuck on these figures. You can try using a heat gun/hair dryer, putting the figure in the freezer and/or letting the figure sit in warm/hot water and the joints may loosen and not break off. However you may mess up the wash that is applied to these figures a little bit. I have had 2 Spartans and 2 drones (wings) suffer major breakages but the drones I managed to fix. I also have an ODST that his shoulder socket is warped but not broken. Not really a bad track record considering how many figures I have but not really the durability/QC you'd expect of a "toy". I have to say for the most part I'm super impressed with the new Sgt. Avery Johnson figure. Way better articulation than I imagined it would have had although they curiously left out a few joints that would have helped the range of motion of the arms a lot.
  16. or you could record yourself watching it with remote joy to bypass the region lock.
  17. Who needs a task force when you have Max
  18. Well when I record it splits into 2 files. One is the video, the other the audio and I just run it through windows movie maker and when it comes out it's a pretty respectable size.
  19. If Yamato is really looking to tackle something all new I wholeheartedly endorse the 17. The 19s would be a better choice for Yamato as maybe they could do a resculpt of what they already have and save on some of the production costs.
  20. Both VF-17 Gamlin and VF-19 Docker please kay thx!
  21. That sh*ts sooo cash! Consider them bought. Bling on the canopy looks pretty sweet btw.
  22. Yeah "Trendy" I go by there every once and a while. They've had a few DYRL revoltechs sitting there forever. Usually don't have anything too interesting to me except maybe the selection of car fresheners. I think I bought an MSIA there once. Last time I went to the Mitsuwa they had a sign up for a noodle place that was going to be opening inside. Not sure if it's open yet though.
  23. Yeah, my custom firmware supports remote joy all I had to do was install it on my PC. It's kind of laggy though or maybe it's just mine? Pretty neat because you can record your gameplay.
  24. I feel that. The Megahouse MOSPEADAs where my preference as well and I feel totally ripped off. I suppose they only did what required little to no retooling/sculpting and then just gave up the ghost. It's a pity because they look really nice in armor mode and are still highly functional/playable.
  25. ugh don't even get me started on those... Why do people even need highly articulated figures of those?... oh... never mind...
