I think it's maybe the hair and the way she's made up or lack there of. She looks better in her IMDB pictures and she's looked better in other projects she's be in. I could definitely see where maybe they thought she would be the Amanda Tapping of this show. Like a rough ballsy beautiful or something. Personally I'm not impressed with any of the characters yet but we're only a few eps in.

I like this, HG is an easy fall guy Their practices remind me a lot of Edge games. I tried albeit not hard to find the average income in the Philippines and found a figure of 172,000 peso (US$3,939) for 2006. Pretty disconcerting for sure. I still have extended family and a friend there but try not to dwell on it as it's kind of depressing obviously.

Rachet joints and more detailed missiles would be the bare minimum improvements IMO. Maybe a custom stand? I'm not generally real particular when it comes to being 100% line or anime accurate.

Actually I have some management experience from retail (years ago so it's a bit dated) but I get the general concept. I'm not sure why I'd have to give you any hard data/charts/graphs and/or a power point presentation but to try to call me out on my wordage is a bit zealous considering the use of word itself. Sarcasm aside no one is entitled to things they "want" at a price they want. That said I agree some of the items seem over priced like the VF-11, to a lesser degree the destroids and don't even get me started on the power armours. I can't really make a comment on Bandai's Frontier line because I don't own any, I haven't handled any and I never plan to. Even revoltechs in general are kind of over priced IMO but again it's an import and as always you pay a premium and sometimes it's the only way you can get some particular licensed merchandise. The 22 (although lacking accessories) is totally worth the cost IMO. I would say the 19 would be too but it's engineering/design has not aged well plus the repaints aren't really that exciting. What people should be thankful for is the fact Yamato gives us awesome VF-1s for what I would say minus various hiccups is an extreme value. The best way to show Yamato pricing is hurting their market penetration is to just stop buying whatever you feel isn't worth the cost and wash your hands of the situation. As for the strength of the Yen the irony of the situation is the Japanese economy is tanking just as hard as everyone's...

Well I have a dazzle now and I'm going to be getting a JPN PSP2000 (video out) pretty soon hopefully. I don't know how long it will take but I should be able to use the dazzle and put the video in MP3/AVI/etc eventually. This should help everyone bypass the whole region deal without any problems. I've tried two different methods to bypass the region lock before. One try was the recovery menu and the other was by modifying the files and I failed at both unfortunately. I'm not sure if I was just doing something wrong or not but when I was reading the various forums it seemed to be hit and miss. Keep in mind I was trying to spoof the US region as my fat is actually a JPN model.

Where and how would be a good way to upload? It's not like ripping an ISO is that hard. You still need to have a UMD in the drive and I'm not sure how the whole region locked aspect will work out.

Rogue is one of my favourite X-Men characters probably second after only Wolverine. While overall the Bishoujo Rogue is a really nice PVC like almost everything anime/manga related the face is very lackluster IMO. Take note when I was at SDCC they had a proto up of a slightly altered Bishoujo Rogue that will feature Gambit's full coat. When I asked one of the numerous attractive Japanese females staffing their area (her name escapes me atm) she apologetically stated that it wasn't supposed to be actually on display I was going to try and take a picture but some huge cow suddenly appeared and loomed over the display case and when I went back it was gone. Still haven't seen or heard where this other version will show up. Anyone else got any info?

Welcome to perceived value! I bet it would help a little if Yamato actually fixed the the vertical stabs instead of jobbing out like they did on the 1/72 though.

Roy's version 1 1/60 VF-1S non Strike was released in like December of 2001 so it's been roughly 9 years and all we've gotten is one power armor and a repaint of it, which is outrageous. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I have them but compared to my experience with Yamato's other products they are highly inferior. Although I guess being a huge floppy mess is kind of about standard in some people's opinions for a Yamato <nerd rage>Yamato owes me! They should make whatever I want, when I want! In the quality I want!</nerd rage>

The problem there as I mentioned before is that remote joy will not display Video from a UMD video as far as I can tell so far. In theory if someone has a newer JPN PSP with the video out maybe they could use a separate stand alone capture device to do this? Oh BTW I'm pretty sure the region changer won't work. I tried the built in one on my firmware and much like the goggles it did nothing. Maybe a separate add on would?

I'd have to agree. There's a lot of extra details and features I didn't expect to be there on these. A lot of thought obviously went into their designs. I noticed I wasn't real clear above, so just for the record I don't necessarily believe they should have everything tampoed on but at least one or two of the obligatory markings would be welcome. Especially since we've been spoiled by the newer VFs.
