Color on the legs are painted, the rest of it are molded in plastic. That's why you have different tone under supreme lights.

Put it in babel fish translation so basically it's confirmed that it will come with new crotch joints like 1/48 scale after VT-1 release.

unless you are talking about the Masterpiece, the generic transformers toy are just generic toy. I regard Yamato valkyrie toys as pre-assembled and highly articulated model more than a toy. The yamato valkyrie is much more sturdier and solid then any model kit, but they are not as robust as most generic toy. People who never deal with model kits before will find them very fragile. It's like the 1/72 Bandai HCM valkyrie and 1/55 valkyrie toy. HCM as what it called, High Complete Model, these are much more fragile than the 1/55 toy and HCM were aimed for adult collectors. When you have more articulation joints, more parts to make it anime accurate, it's going to be fragile. If you have built the 1/72 scale Imai complete 3 modes transformable VF-1 valkyrie kits, you will find out that the shoulder hinge is much more fragile. I bet Yamato could make their toys more robust by sacrificing articulation on shoulder and reinforce hip joints with swing bar, but will you bite that?

I thought the VF-1J head is quite differentiate from each other and I really don't know why they have to do so. I don't like the the color appear on this CF 1J and Kakizaki 1A as well, but I did get them both no matter what. They should have gone for something more grayish tan instead of dessert tan color if they do wanna differentiate them, but it's just me.

The Miria valkyrie is VF-1J, so does the Max in VF-1J. Virgin road is their wedding valkyrie is VF-1D. I wish they will, but not at this point. exactly.

wow............... good to see Virgin Road VF-1D. Yamato, you better have my bank account put in your file with all the scheme coming out. This must be the toy line that Yamato milk the most out of the same mold like Hasegawa did.

Simply put, Yamato is JDM, anything else is doomed.

and I am glad that I only into VF-1 because other Yamato valkyries like M-plus are way too much expensive...... I don't know why but valkries after DYRL never grow on me, M-plus are cool to grab but the rest of it like Macross 7 and Frontier are pieces of crap to me. However, when it comes to variants, VF-1 has the most variants and you actually end up paying couple grands getting the whole line...

vintage value won't happen in V1 toy line as discussed. The vintage value increase when things are scarce and no replacement. That's not the case for most toys today now. Toy manufacturers see the value of old toys and most toys are re-released or manufactured with today technology in another form, like Yamato valkyries, Masterpiece Transformers, voltron.... With so much choices and option, the value of 70s, 80s vintage toys dropped. To me, V1 VF-1 is just a by products of today V2, some might dig it in future but majority won't.

I have one of each every variant so far and picking up 2 of ve-1, vt-1, and CF 1A. I pass the weather Max 1S though. I will pick up another set if the early version get released again in V2.1. For those money I spent, I could have bought some nice bike from where I came from......

I am sorry if this sound stupid to ask but is there any special MG decal come with any magazine or you guys just custom paint brush it? It won't be too hard to do the purple cubic, but the Minmay potrait is kinda tricky without a decal.

Ooops, for that price I will rather get 1/72 scale Fujimi Full deck crews with truck and everything for under 10 bucks and get them painted myself. These kits come with the tractor Or you can get the fire fighter version. Average height is 2.5mm which fit just nice.
