  1. Now unless the pilot seat can rotate 45 degree in fighter mode....
  2. Exactly, what ever they are gonna do. Just do ADD ON DETAILED PARTS No more revised release. Do the detail add on kits mentioned above will do. I hate to buy another valkyrie to have those add on stuff, craps.
  3. full tempo printing make no sense at all if they are going to release a detail up vf-1 kit, it's another way of milking the mold which don't make sense to end consumer. They should leave full tempo printing on future release. Leave the detailed parts such as side covers, detailed hand, fists, neck cover, cockpit alone in a separate box so that end consumer can buy it as add on upgrade kit. And oh yeah, GRAHAM, I really like to see this as an ADD ON Kit. You can detach the leg of VF-1 with screw and mount on with the add on thruster legs. I really dig that.
  4. seriously i think they should release as add on kit so that we could fit on our existing toys, not some detailed up version later. Who would wanna buy more multiple release? I will definitely grab the idea of accessary kits listed by Graham like ground crew, detailed hands, standing pilots, retract seat for battroid modes from T-Rex. Side covers & neck cover: Gun strip: Assorted standing pilots like roy, hikaru, max, even Hayes or minmay Retractable Pilot seats: Detailed mechanical leg swap: Assorted High detailed Manipulator set: OPTIONAL DECAL SHEET to customize MG, BLUE ROSE.... These are basically what will make me happy all day.

    SCOOP thread!

no, it's the same old crotch system, hobby search has stock now. It makes me feel that they are basically clearing off old stock with new box and lights.
  6. It seems to me that the anniversary rebox versiona with touch light kit is still the same tooling as first release with old crotch system, probably just clearing old stock in new box?

    HLJ Yamato sale

Luckily I only interested in vf-1 and I only buy v2, no 1/48 for me, I don't like them. I know someone else might bougt cases of them but not for me. actually buying 2nd copies so I can have them in both fighter and battroid modes. I wish I could stop now but I am still missing gbp-1s and angelbirds, and don't forget some multiple copies on unpainted version for MG custom.....

    HLJ Yamato sale

I guess nobody does, grab them while you can, OD has some valkyries already in $73.99 like hikaru vf-1a, vf-1j, vf-1s, but the rest are $89.99. The ve-1 ($127) and vt-1 ($120) offered by HLJ are perfect time to grab now. OD has them for $161 and $145 with the option of SAL shipping. You only get EMS from OD.
  10. I have over 40+ V2 and one of mine has the same problem, and yes it's roy's vf-1s too, this particular unti also has cracked shoulder. This is the only problem that I have with all my V2.

    HLJ Yamato sale

well you guys all know that it's not gonna happen for both, either 30% or free EMS shipping. HLJ is doing this for a reason to clear their stocks but not at this deperate point to lose money by giving up 50% or more to move the stocks.
  12. You should check yamato website, basically tell you what have been evolved from 1/60 to 1/48 and V2 1/60. V2 1/60 is the most coolest toy ever made: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_049/index.html You might also wanna view this site: http://anymoon.com/blog/2009/03/14/yamato-...1s-superstrike/

    HLJ Yamato sale

It's hard to say that because I think they are clearing off excess inventory and they will resume to normal price when they reached their desired stock level at normal price. Don't forget the Christmas sales was ended earlier because their stocks were out or I should say reach their normal level.

    HLJ Yamato sale

I'm so sick and broke after all these constant sales. I must have more than 30x VF-1 in my house now.
  16. It's been answered couple times and Yamato already states that, it's basically the same toy but comes pre-assembly. I guess you probably could do custom scheme that has majority in white color like MG, but I won't pain it over to another color because there are so many tight spots. The paint will definitely scrached off during transformation. If you have M&M then you will know the reason. They left the tab on leg white, which is the raw plasctic color and they only painted the inner part between chest plate and back plate. If you mount SP on the toy, it will basically scratch off a long stretch of paint off the back plate, and the paint on the lower arms will be scratched off as well.
  17. hmm... I could be wrong but it doesn't make sense to me at all in production stand point to have an extra panel on wing and extra process in assembly line since they already have the bump molded on the wing. The way I see it is they have the bumps molded on separate panel, then glue them together later on. I rekcon they are taking concern on the bump that will break off easily with force to mount and remove missile by end users. Having a large surface of backing panel at the back, it will distribute the force evenly out so it won't break so easily. Anyway, from the picture that they provided, this panel is already glued on wing if what I thought is correct.
  18. are you sure? all the V2 I got have the wing in 2 pieces, they have to glue the missile mount into wing. If you view from top of the wing, you can see half the kit logo and half the numbering is part of the missile mount.
  19. It's interesting that the missile mount come preassembled on the wing.
  20. I dun have the dimension handy but it is probably the biggest in the line, double trays.
  21. I don't know why but I never get myself interested in 1/48 at all even though I can find some of pieces real cheap. Probably the proportion of it never look right to me, and the size is way too big. Another major concern is they never get it done with complete line.
