I'm sure it will chip a lot, look at Max and Miria shoulders. The back plate will be scratched as well when you mount the fast pack on, and lots of hinges will suffer paint chipping. I really don't think you can paint it.

I still don't get the whole point of color variant from off white to white for tv and dyrl. I could have missed it but is there any rigid documentation on the color of dyrl and tv valkyrie? Takatoku did the tv valkyries in off white color, while bandai did the dyrl valkyries in white back in the old days. When Yamato comes in, they did it the other way around. I personally prefer all valkyries in off white color though, to defend the yellowing process on plastic and off white look much cooler with weathering feel.

Agreed. What Bandai has done over the years of holding the license? Nothing, except the recent 1/100 Hi Metal VF-1, which I think Yamato's is much superior despite the fact that we might have shoulder problem.

The very end small section of the crotch has to be angled in a degree to get the hatch goes through it. I wasn't able to do that too but practice makes it happen, once you get it right then you will have no problem to transform it. Having said that, they should have done the easier revised version from the begining.

yes it's old crotch and with different smooth and knurled pins. I don't understand why they include the old crotch in unaseembled one. I don't think they are getting rid of old parts (may be for the assembled plain version), but I don't think they are getting rid old crotch on unassembled version because these all came in sprues. I also doubt that those individual parts in mass production will come in the same sprue tree that we get for this version, but i could be wrong.

Yamato should have made these hinge in universal gray color like the knee joints or feet to match with side covers, so we don't have to worry about getting correct color for replacement.

If they don't want to sell it, they definitely don't have to make it. They don't manufacture whole pile of toys and wait people to buy, I bet the TV Roy crossed their mind but the difference is so minimal and the demand is so low. It's not cost efficience to have this in the list.

The only difference is the pilot suit and minor marking on VF-1S head black arrow, and very minor marking. It's been discussed many times, do a search.

To mount the DYRL hand on GBP-1S is fairly easy, just cut off the peg on the dryl hands then drill new hole to fit on the wrist plate for arm armors. I think the dyrl hand is scaled to fit the GBP-1S armor too.

Finally got the package, typo on tracking number given by OD but luckily it arrives. The local deliver guy is extremely disqualified to handle EMS because the package is extremely beat up.....

because the separate unit VF-1J or Super VF-1J have all parts manufactured at the same time so the colors is all even out. The GBP-1S bundle set has brand new manufactured VF-1J head while the rest of the body is from previous manufactured so you can tell the different shade of white.

SAL should come with tracking number as well. I always didn't get notification from my local post office, I have to monitor the status of the package myself and go to post office to claim my package by showing tracking number and status. damn. By the way, I just got a package shipped from OD, from my experience the EMS tracking number is 13 digits which is EM123456789JP, but the tracking number I got is EM5141608014JP, which is 14 digits and they have not updated me the new tracking number.
