    Yamato 1/60 VF-X

Absolutely gorgeous, i am sold on the idea.
  2. I do agree with you that it's considered perfect enough if I don't have to detach and attach or swap parts during the transformation on the main unit. Side covers, neck covers, fixed pose hands are something I will regarded as optional parts to detail up the anime magic when it comes to toy. If you have to go that far to have working intak covers, then another bug I will complain is the cockpit doesn't rotate to face up in battroid mode.
  3. When it comes to VF-1, you will always start with VE-1/VT-1 Max and Millia VF-1D GBP-1S Armors Vermillion Squadron VF-1S
  4. Why don't we give them a gun or something so that they can rob the stores next to them?
  5. The lord has spoken.
  6. I'm wondering how on earth yamato could put 2 same side of leg armors since it hardly can fit into the plastic tray? How did Yamato's assembly staff manage to squize 2 radars in the plastic tray?
  7. Nope, Yamato has everything on the toy and you don't have to remove parts or swap parts in each mode so it's still perfect transformation, those hands are optional. On Bandai, you do need to swap parts so it's part former.
  8. Because what Yamato did is perfect transformation valkyrie toy and Bandai goes for part former to create different modes for different needs.
  9. Search around at for sale section, I believe izzyfcuk or save have them.
  10. Yup, you could do the math according to the spec provided, but the size in the movie and tv series are not consistent. You can have a Zentran standing same height with Battroid but the Zentran still have to squezze in the regult's cockpit? Toy manufacturer has to compromise anime magic, I think this is what they come up with for now on the size of Zentran, VF-1 and Regult:
  11. I found the picture and it's from T-rextoys. This picture should 99% suggest that the regult is in 1/60 scale. However, further rigid information on release is TBA like Vifam mentioned.
  12. Agreed, it's way too small for the regult to be 1/48 scale. If you look at the picture again, the regult is most likely in 1/60 scale if you take the 1/60 Zentraedi soldier and 1/60 VF-1S as reference for size comparison. The soldier fits just right in the pod. I remember seeing the 1/60 Zentraedi soledier resin kit in squeeze down position place on a card board with the Regult pod hand sketch. I couldn't find the picture.

    Yamato 1/60 VF-X

That's the reason that most toy manufacturer is going for web exclusive, or the worst limited run in expensive resin release.
  14. The canopy is actually a layer of coating which tend to peel off with high disposed rate in manufacturing line too. Yamato has dropped the idea of giving that rainbow coating. They should somehow tint the canopy in light brown or orange like the old chunky monkey though instead of giving it clear.
  15. Like it or not, they are going to release the 1/2000 HDP kit again due to popular demand, start taking preorder on 5/17. SOURCE

    Yamato 1/60 VF-X

Looking forward to see the bottom of this valkyrie.
  17. Got picture of both right legs armors?
  18. I will get one when everthing is final. Like Eugimon mentioned before, I paid $1000 for a Takatoku Super VF-1S combo, the only white Takatoku VF-1S, 10 years ago. Now I can get 6 or 7 Yamato V2 in different paint scheme with that kinda of money. In the old days, we didn't even have the whole line. Now Yamato has pretty much done all VF-1 variants, with some rare variants keep popping out, and they are doing the Regult in the same scale. Don't you guys think you should show some respect and appreciation instead for this company? Which company ever contributed themselves to do more than 10 schemes of VF-1 in the same consistant scale? Destroids? Q-Rau?

    Yamato 1/60 VF-X

VF-X: Non-transformable variable-wing flight test version. VF-X-1: Transformable prototype developmental version. The VF-X is non-transformable predecessor of VFX-1. I am wondering how will Yamato do a flush intake on the existing mold. Ironically, many people will pass I guess. If this valkyrie is announced as web exclusive in HDP kit version for 200,000 yen, then people will start screaming how much they wanted it in a toy form.
  20. yes, it's true and it's been confirmed.
