  1. Hikaru and Minmay will be doomed when Roy transforms from battroid to fighter mode with the gun pod in hand....
  2. Actually the albino VF-1S is a much better candidate to wear the armor suit since the body is basically covered up. 1. Cheaper compare to regular valkyries 2. White in color
  3. The earlier prototype from Bandai is actually gray visor, I don't know why they changed it in production version.
  4. The are only 2 different colors of fastpacks available for V2, and they are distinguished by TV or DYRL, not super or strike parts. You get strike and super fast pack from DYRL fastpack, but you only get super fastpack on TV, which is self-explanatory. The DYRL fastpack is bluish in color, while TV version is grayish in color. And my piece of advise, do not compare your actual toy with boxart or any internet pictures. Always read the disclaimer, "The actual toy may look different from the boxart illustration". ※写真はサンプルです。実際の商品とは、多少異なる場合があります。 It's simple. 1. Every computer presents different color. 2. Many picture of the toys presented on internet and boxart are actually hand painted prototype.
  5. Correct me if I am wrong, why Bandai put in all the efforts to do all the tampo printing but left out the shoulder markings on reissue? I don't get it, it's such a main marking in battroid mode. Both the original Takatoku/Bandai have the shoulder marking pre-factory applied.
  6. I have it painted gray. Yup I never like the white visor, it looks weak on the face of white VF-1J. The gray visor adds some depth and highlight on the head, IMO.
  7. I think this is the most beautiful box Yamato has ever come up with. They should learn a thing or two from Bandai when comes to box arts. Pictures of all 3 modes Picture of Diorama setting A general introduction of story line Specification of the valkyrie
  8. My gribe about this little guy is there are many residue left on the surface here and there and the sprue mark are handled pretty badly. Some sprue marks are sanded and left with sanding mark here and there. There is a major portion on the back plate, right infront of the backpack hinge, has a big portion of residue. There red paint on the leg fins already chipped off right from the box.
  9. I suggest you go to Yamato website to find out by yourself. Of course, before Yamato moves in from V1 to V2, the 1/48 was created. So go here to find out more: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_049/index.html http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_041/index.html
  10. The beauty is really subject to the eyes of the beholder. To me the only thing that the 1/48 wins over V2 is the size. That will be another thread so let's stick on the 1/100 VF-1J.
  11. Does Yamato running out of idea or cleaning old stocks? Limited 200pcs Gray Visor VF-1J? Endless weathering on dyrl VF-1? Get more paint variants instead if they wanna milk.
  12. well we all know that Yamato is not gonna go that route, they would have included VF-1A and VF-1S head for Hikaru dyrl valkyries if they did. Mold milking after the sempai Hasegawa....
  13. I never notice the pilot name given on the sticker sheet, but in general it's known as CF VF-1J....
  14. My package is stuck at local sorting center, I wonder FEDex do delivery on Saturday. I was expecting it, and I thought I could have something to do with the new toy.... oh well.
  15. Because Roy was killed before he got chance to put on the super packs and hikaru is the one that take over the vf-1s and armed with super packs later in tv show.
  16. The tab is broken, stressed, or deformed because force was used to pull the intake out of it.
  17. I think AmiAmi still beat HLJ despite HLJ has 70%, I could be wrong.
  18. I got 15% off on shipping from amiami too.
  19. yup, these are from wonderfest 2010 with Miria delivery pod.
