    Yeah, it went from 40% off to only 15%. Guess the sale went better than they expected as they're down to low stock. Congrats to those who were able to snag the VF-11C a few days ago - it was a great deal. Still, planning to pull the trigger on a set of Max and Milia VF-22S but it's getting difficult with new Transformers coming to retail in less than 2 weeks.

    And now...Back to ROBOTECH! Seems McKeever has nothing to post on his unofficial Robotech blog so he keeps posting about gas and the strength of the US dollar. The surprising thing is that someone actually posted a reply on the blog complaining about this as a Robotech blog should have posts actually related to Robotech. Still, I guess you could always go to rt.com and talk about "No Love for Sentinels Music."

    Definitely a possibility as a source of mine (who is a retailer and often in touch with Toynami) just informed me that the Light Artillery Battlepod's release is now indefinite as it's original target release was January 2011 (you would think rt.com would remove this date to avoid embarrassing questions). Seems there haven't been enough pre-orders to justify the toy's production. Still, I doubt this will happen with any of the new valkyries as they seem to be popular despite their quality. Just don't expect it until a few months AFTER they announce a release date.

    Kind of a random question but does anyone know where you can download images of the box art for the Armada and Energon toys? I'm thinking about selling them to make space for other things but love the box art and don't have a scanner.

    why are they doing this again SO SOON? i haven't fully recovered from the last sale and now they have even more i want! definitely planning to max and milia VF-22S but i'm really tempted to get a VF-11C along with a bandai koenig.

    I always thought of it more as a transitional uniform design to Southern Cross not that I liked them. But I still think it's ridiculous that Rick Hunter got old so fast in Shadow Chronicles when he looked similar to his Macross design in Sentinels. I've never seen anyone change so dramatically in appearance due to age in real life. Must have been the Protoculture fumes.

    Well, obviously the Robocon 10 comments were taken out of context or transcribed incorrectly. Don't forget how effective the banhammer is as well. Now, there's almost no traffic to the rt.com site which just proves Kevin's point that it's a bad idea to show the sidequel trailer online.

    I only wish the Blu-Ray wasn't so expensive, especially knowing that the DVDs will eventually be released which would be cheaper - but Blu is better!

    thanks for the detailed clarification bluemax151, i've never looked closely at the MSIAs myself to notice more differences than the panel lines. i do think the MSIA line is extra cool since there are figures in it that we never saw in the US. richardmvela, if you're looking for any loose Wing or UC figures, PM me and maybe we can work something out. I was planning to throw up my loose collection on ebay (sold my MOSC collection years ago for surprisingly a lot) after I get back from my vacation in a couple weeks.

    1. If, by animated series, you mean television series, I don't see that happening as McKeever has explained on multiple occasion the obstacles to getting something on tv - nice to know they've "thought" of it at least. Most likely, in the absence of the LAM, HG would continue with the direct to DVD releases and just do side stories forever to bank on the nostalgia factor. 2. Sell Robotech? But all they'd have left is their real estate and I don't think Yune, Yun, and McKeever are qualified to handle that though HG has faith in them regarding Robotech so who knows? 3. They've already come close to doing this many times so it's doubtful they'd go all the way. Deep coma, more than what's going on at the moment, is definitely an option though.

    Looks like the new Generations figures are hitting more shelves. Just this week, I've seen 3 Kups and 2 Scourges in the San Francisco East Bay Area and this was the first week I actually went looking for stuff at retail in awhile. Target's a bit ridiculous with their close to $15 retail for deluxes but Walmart is still at $11.88.

    Yup, 2 guys fighting it out (or is it up?) to the $610 mark. Still, it looks like a couple other bidders were interested in paying $300 for this which is still crazy. It's got me thinking I should throw mine on ebay right now...

    Wow, season 4 looks to be much better than season 3 which I just watched. Though season 3 did have some high points, it was pretty lackluster overall. Still, I find that I enjoy the series more when watching it straight through on Blu-Ray.

    I think SC's best claim to fame is how they were #1 on Hulu cause it's way better than Jonah: A VeggiesTales Movie. Too bad now SC is ranked #3 of all time on the site.

    McKeever himself brought this up as he gave examples of films that took up to 20 years to be released - not the best example if you're trying to convince the general fandom that the Robotech LAM is in good hands. The HG supporters originally just said "things happening that we don't know about" but even they don't try to make it sound like we'll be retired by the time the LAM and, thus, Shadow Rising are released though they do acknowledge it'll be awhile. Nowadays they try to spin this wait time into why we're so lucky to get a sidequel about which little is known and a documentary few even care about.

    That's what I've said in the past on rt.com just to be told I don't know how Hollywood works when, in fact, it's HG that doesn't know how Hollywood or the world works. Back when they 1st announced the LAM, Tommy insinuated that the LAM production would be a rather quick turnaround as WB wanted to have something to compete with Transformers. That's why no one complained about SR's delay due to the LAM in the beginning even with the "hiatus" fiasco. Now that it's been a few years, we're being told that movies can take over 2 decades to be produced and SR isn't being delayed by the LAM, despite Tommy and Steve indicating SR's release is being coordinated with the LAM release. Basically, HG made another bad business decision in a long line of bad decisions. They just need to admit it and try to rectify the situation cause we the fans will understand since they're a small fish playing in a big ocean. The fact that they don't just makes them look worse.

    Actually, I guess I don't associate Tommy and Steve lying, as much as I do with Kevin, because they aren't as vocal as Kevin is. Afterall, they only make vague, misleading statements at cons, conveniently running out of time before real questions are asked or answers can be clarified. Kevin, on the other hand writes out all his misleading statements which makes it easier to remember.

    I don't really have a problem with Yun or Yune as long as they don't do the powerpoint presentation every year. Tommy should stick to the production side/art of the franchise and Steve should stick to...whatever it is he does. Both tend to tell the truth. McKeever, I agree should go, since all he does is set up the convention tour by telling fans to request their conventions to call McKeever for booking which is ridiculous. He really serves no other purpose there cause I don't care what his hotel room looks like or that he just ate a philly cheesesteak sandwich unless he's bringing me one to apologize.
