    Wow, those Minicons really make these figures look good, especially the one for Megatron. I ran into the same situation as anime52k8, finding a Megatron at TRU and then a cheaper Megatron at Target. I'm planning to return the one I bought at TRU after I find another at Target or Walmart (which is also $20) but it's so hard to find at 1 per case that maybe I should keep it? Until yesterday, every store I went to that had Prime Voyagers had just a sea of Prime. Add that to the see of deluxe Bumblebees on the pegs and it's starting to get me worried. Hasbro and their case assortments could really kill the line before it takes off.

    Yeah, CG definitely has it's place as long as it keeps you from realizing what you're watching is CG as seen in Frontier and Unicorn. I'm hoping LLA doesn't have whatever the hell SC had and it seems that LLA is gonna be a step in the right direction based on the teaser that was smuggled online but I'm not holding my breath that it'll be anywhere near Frontier or Unicorn.

    Pics like this make me sad I just sold off this part of my collection. And bernard21, thanks for sharing the pics of the Robotech boxes. That is some serious nostalgia there and I've never seen such a complete collection of those items in the box. One question: do you display your toys in the way they stacked in the photos? That's always been a dream of mine but I always run out of space from buying so much crap.

    Another seller on eBay just threw up a listing for the 171 and lists more than 10 available while the first 2 sellers only listed 1 and 5 available, respectively. Not sure if this means stores/dealers are getting confirmation of larger orders but I doubt any of these sellers will stiff you for the item as their feedback is really good. (They'll just stiff you on the price I guess which still isn't that much higher from the discounted preorders if you included shipping) It may be a viable way to get multiples though if you can afford to...

    Fine then Bandai, I just preordered this beauty on eBay for $250 shipped and 20% down. It's not worth having to check multiple websites all day every day to see if a preorder pops up. And the price isn't dramatically more - maybe 4 bowls of pho? As long as I get it I'll be happy.

    WOW! This looks like an exciting movie though I do agree with Old_Nash and feel like parts of it remind of Transformers 3.

    They're still not as expensive as the 17, 19, or Bandai Chogokins. If you have patience and can wait for the HLJ sale, they're pretty "reasonable" even with shipping but, sale or not, the V2 VF-1's are totally worth it.

    With the pregnant wife fully engaged in Final Fantasy 13-2, I finally got caught up on this series and I'm definitely losing interest. Characterization seems pretty minimal and things just seem to happen without really knowing why or what causes the event. I think the concepts and overall idea of the show are promising but I think the show would have been better if each generation lasted a full season of 26 episodes. Stil, I've already gone through 20 episodes so I guess I'm in it for the long haul.

    I'm also pretty pleased with the RID version of Prime even though I think the FE version looks better. The lack of a show accurate paint scheme is my only real problem with though I wish the chest piece would lock in better. I also opened Cliffjumper and actually like him a lot. I think it looks better than the FE version and poseability is pretty good. Haven't found anything else yet though after buying a set of Cyberverse Legions, I've found that I can't stop buying the Vehicon every time I see him.

    Does the fact that they still have the YF-29 for pre-order, when most other sites are sold out despite being more expensive, mean it's likely they won't be able to fulfill their orders?

    With so many Robotech fans wanting to incorporate all that is Macross into Robotech, maybe Tommy should just retcon out Southern Cross and Mospeada and reboot the franchise using only Macross properties?

    Despite the design of the new Enterprise (which I've accepted finally), I'm just hoping we see more of Starfleet in terms of starships.

    Are you hoping for new paints schemes or straight reissues? The last reissues didn't seem to sell too well and most are still pretty affordable on eBay compared to Yamatos or Chogokins. I'd think new paints schemes would be highly unlikely though one release with a 30th Anniversary paint scheme would be cool.

    Why did you have to post these links Totoro? I stopped collecting Star Wars toys years ago and have been selling off my collection but I may have to start my habit again for these figures.

    Grahah, like others have stated, you probably won't get a response from Toynami or robotech.com. I tried to contact them in the past about my broken MP Alpha and didn't get a response. If the ebay seller isn't responding, maybe you could contact eBay or Paypal (assuming, of course, that you used that form of payment) as ebay/Paypal often sides with the buyer whenever there's a problem.

    This could be a great motto for the site. I think this is how a lot of us recent posters ended up here to begin with. It's nice to be part of a community that has more than 5 members (ie rt.com).

    I thought the MS Igloo series was a bit boring overall. Only a few episodes peaked my interest. It looks nice though if you like that type of CG animation but I prefer the look of Unicorn.

    Same crap as before. LAM in development with same people = nothing going on. 20th Anniversary Soundtrack SOLDOUT - better be since it's about 7 years old or so. More role playing books - and we all know how fast those come out. New ep single - since the super delayed 25th Anniversay Soundtrack looks like it will never be released since they're still "finding" more music. Showed some battlepod toys. Still working on LLA even though it was originally supposed to be done last summer - who knew a few more minutes of animation would take so long? And to keep questions to a minimum, though Memo stated there was no time for any, let's watch Carl's Documentary! That's about it.
