That's admirable really, being able to say what you really like. I'm actually afraid that I'm siding too much with Sheryl that I'll find it hard to move to the Ranka camp when I suddenly feel like I want to. You know what I mean, it's like being in too deep in something that it's hard to get out? (At least I was able to move from having Ranka as my favorite to Sheryl very easily )

The flower that Sheryl gave Ranka for her birthday is a "Pompon". Fits Ranka quite well Has anyone translated Ranka's post about the gifts she received? I heard she got something odd from Alto like a fly swatter? I'm too lazy to go through Ranka's posts EDIT: LOLZ, it's the most recent post of Ranka! From Lu-kun (Lucca?), she received acacia honey. From Megane-kun (Nanase?) she got a FuwaFuwa Fake Fur Organizer. And R-T-kun (Alto, I suppose) really gave her a fly swatter. Hahahaha, stupid guy.

Actually, people have been talking about it somehow as an issue of sex under the guise of the words "Sheryl is the modern woman", but didn't really point how that means that she has some "traditionally" male qualities, the possession of which by women is somehow still looked down by some (who want their girls to be innocent, docile and shy).

When guys are in control, they don't get called dicks, it's only when they make irrational judgments/actions and pretend that they're right. Really, replace the "Alto get here (on the set of the shoot) this instant!" voice with a male voice and let's see how different that sounds. If in the first place, you don't find Sheryl bitchy when she commands Alto to be professional, then that's good. By the way, which actions of Sheryl do you guys find "bitchy"? I never really saw her character as that.

Actually it doesn't grate on me anymore... because I try to replace "bitch" with "in control", so I don't mind Sheryl fans using it also. What I mind is how some people use it as a derogatory comment (directed to any woman who's not doing anything wrong/immoral).

Funny I skipped out reading this reply, I was expecting reactions like yours. I didn't mean any harm (obviously, I'm a big Kanno fan), I just wanted to find out what the industry thought about it, and also perhaps have someone notify Kanno that she is sometimes bordering on copying songs, and hopefully her future music is more "inspired" than "copied". I and some other fans only notified the artists which we think were *almost* copied from, and not the minor ones. If there is anyone who is going to put Kanno in this IP hot soup, it's no less than herself. It will only take time before someone else shows them a copy of the song (I think someone else beat me to Hooverphonic, that's why they sounded like they were sick of it), what will happen, will happen regardless of who reveals the song to them. And if someone would retort, "it's none of your business, don't poke around with it", I suppose a business consists of producers AND customers, and we belong to the latter.

I use Rikai-chan and attempt to translate each word. Babelfish is just weird. I also noticed the "senior/elder apprentice" translation, but I thought that the "elder brother" traslation (sans the "ko" syllable) made more sense considering that the next phrase is about family. Can someone who knows how to read Japanese please translate the preview completely to end the guessing? EDIT: a phrase was missing
