  5. LOOSER> Thanks a lot!!!!!
  6. I know all about the well-documented hip joint problem, but my VF-11B broke even though I never transformed it and only had it on display in battroid mode!!!! I moved it like 3 inches to rearrange my display shelves (to make more room for 1/48s) and the darned thing just cracked!!!! I was so p.o.ed!!!! Anyway, thanks for listening, as I just needed to vent to people who would actually understand. Reply here if you are angry too!!! David
  7. Me too! I was away for a while and I missed out in the Low-Viz when it first came out.
  8. Well, I'm not in Austin, but Houston is about 3 hours drive away. (Texas being such a small state!) Welcome to the Lone Star State! Hope everything goes well for you! Just learn how to say "ya'll" a lot. Later! David
  9. WOW! You got skills, dude! All I can say is ...... NICE!!!!
  10. Latitude: 29° 36' Longitude: -95° 13' Houston, TX, USA
  11. I agree whole-heartedly! David
  12. Awwww........how cute! (If I had seen that, it would have been mine!) Nice find!
  13. Sounds cool! Can't wait to see a pic (although we have seen Kurt's work, so I don't know if Yamato can live up to those standards)!
  14. Looks nice! Congrats!
  15. Awesome! Congrats on your first 1/48. I got my 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru (1st one for me too) this past week and I plan on getting more ASAP. David
  16. Nice work!
  17. I third it?
  18. UPDATE! My Yamatos: 1/60 = 9 1/72 = 3 1/48 = 1!!!! (Just got it yesterday!) But on a more positive note, Bandai 1/55 = 13 Bandai JMs = 12 There - I feel much better with those totals!
  19. WOW! Another great job, Kurt.
  20. Got the parts - thanks!
  21. WOW!!!!!!! Nice! I want one! Wait, I just want a regular low-viz first!
  22. My wife got a Dyson vacuum and she loves it. It is easy to use and not too heavy for her. Heck, even I will clean the house (if I'm asked to). Anyway, I would recommend it to anyone, but we got ours at Bed Bath and Beyond and used the 20% coupon for it. That added up to $80.00 savings! Word of advice - save those darned coupons! David
  23. I figured out how to get it fixed, thanks a bunch!! I appreciate the help! David
  24. I was so happy that I got the last VE-1 MIB from a retailer in IL, but when I got it out of the box, the backpack was very loose. I thought it was just the way it was designed, but when I was putting some of the stickers on, I noticed that the little plastic pieces that hold the backpack on had stress marks straight from the factory! Now, when the Elint is in battroid mode, the backpack is floppy and I know it's just a matter of time before it falls apart! Has anyone else had this problem and what do you suggest I do to fix it (since the elint is sold out everywhere)? Thanks! David
  25. They're way smaller than that. I would guess 1/120 or 1/144. Although I am nota math / ratios expert. David
