    just finished watching the first 13 episodes of Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas. Great series so far! Animation is nice, the story is cool, and it moves at a much MUCH quicker pace than original Saint Seiya series. shame the only toys released from it are Tenma and Kagaho. Ah well. Great show!

    i almost bought a VF-22, but didnt because i hate putting it back into fightr so much. Those legs just SUCK! Sure, it's do-able, but its a pain in the ass!

    Loved Speed Racer as a kid, and i can stuill hear his voice now as i think about it. Sad to hear of his passing. RIP Sir.

    Sam covered it pretty well. the ship is a dream come true, and a great toy. Small let downs might be lack of ccontrols in the drivers side cockpit, and the smaller harpoon gun at the back not actually having the harpoon detailed onto it. But really those are minor quibbles; Its a great toy! the missile firing front guns actually look pretty badass, and Im giving serous thought to leaving them on permanenty instead of the other ones. i also now have the Cloud car, which i really like as well. The detail is amazing, from the cockpits down to the engine hatches at the front. The slide out side missiles are actually very well implimented. i personally leave out the centremissiles for a cleaner look, but they look fine when in as well. All in all, I think this will be a bt of a sleeper hit, and suggest people give it a chance. Also the blue and white republic tank looks amazing, and will be next on my list for sure!

    I was a HAIR from saying yes to a Unit 2 at the HLJ sale, but I just dont have the moeny right now. I wish I did, it looks awesome and i love my Unit 1.

    ZOMG that was awesome! i mean truly over the top gut splitting AWESOME! My dad and i saw it together, just like years ago when we used to sit and watch it together. My mum and wife wer every amused; apparently when we met them afterward we both had big silly grins on our faces.

    Well no he is right in some ways. A lot of the kooky humor from the cartoon wouldnt translate as well over to the real world. A lot of the jokes that are contorted facial or body expressions would be off putting in the 'real world'. Im sure we'll still see humour in there. edit: And as i read more, I become MORE confident. The thing about Firebenders needing a source of fire is a cool touch, and makes sense in context to how he explains it. EVen the name thing i dont mind so much. I'm psyched for the flick!

    What he said, except I dont hate Revoltech. But the Robot Spirits figures are a good size, sturdier, better poseability and have cooler gear.

    Actually, the original design DID have the collapsing gear, however the weight of the toy kept making the legs collapse into it, so they ended up removing the feature and re-designing the gear to be seperate. The hallway was left closed off because of the electronics behind it i believe. Honestly mate, I think u would get lucky if they do another redesign on the Falcon anytime in the next 10 years or so. The BMF wa sa HUGE success for Hasbro and with Collectors, so they won't see the need for it.

    So this hit in Australia yesterday, and i think the US has had it for a few days. I think its a game deserving of its own topic; From what I have played so far this game will be one for the record books! The sheer scope of it is staggering, the gameplay is great (The weapon selection that doesnt pause the game is annoying) the story and voice acting kick ass, and there are just fun moments. Like riding along, seeing a guy takeing a piss on a cactus....and then get attacked by a mountain lion. Helluva way to go. ANyone else playing?

    What a lame way to get the 3 characters back on ship, it made the whole last epsiode completely redundant. Other than THAT piece of garbage resolution, it was a good episode. Rush seems to have genuinely mellowed a lot since that episode where he took a walk through his memories. Anyonee lse think the guy who sat in the chair got absorbed into the ship somehow?

    I guss I'll end up seeing it, and I loved me some Gladiator, but I'm not super excited for it. i cant put my finger on why honestly...

    I dont think that WAS Cap's shield. Call it hunch, but I think it's just something that has a similar look.
