...The isamu 29 had critics? Mine has a paint chip on the shoulder right at the SMS logo which I can never not look straight at, and i STILL love it. Hell i love all three of the 29's i have, and am saving to try and get the Ozma sometime.

Im pretty sure I got my 19 from AmiAmi. I remember being as happy with the price as i was going to be given the overall expense. I'll probably do the same this time, I ALWAYS miss out on HLJ orders. i think the last thing i got at HLJ was the Macross Quarter when they dropped it to $90.

To support Third Party or not to support.....that is the question
Scream Man replied to jvmacross's topic in Toys
So if the model of 3P transformers flowed ovr, and the costs associated with it, I wouldnt get anything. No way I can afford Macross toy price adjusted 3P products. If the prices were comparable, it would depend. Maybe some of the more obscure fighters if they were good quality. Add on sets, like little 1/60 ground crew or other figures I could get behind. Replacememnt pieces for existing fighters I could go with; Like David mentioned with the hip covers on the 25 series. Maybe replacement gunpods for the 25's,since i have had 2 break on me now. I have BEGGED for third party sticker sheets with lists of names of pilots we could stick on the planes So we'll see. But I doubt it will ever be an issue really, Macross is to niche. -
Those Tornado parts looks REALLY nice on the Prophecy!

Listening to these somewhat in reverse is kind of weird. It's like listening to older and older news happen- 1147 replies

I did it to mine as well, though I used NUNS kites. In my head Megaroad 1 is still receiving updates on the galaxy Network, and custom built this one on the ship.

The price of Super Parts and Armor Parts is ridiculous!
Scream Man replied to Novareign's topic in Toys
I have given up on ever owning Ozmas Heavy armor, that's why I bought the Super. Better than nothing, but not what I want. -
I like that side mount gun idea, looks great. I also like the idea of leaving it attached like a turret gun, I hadn't thought of that somehow.

On our podcast this week I asked my buddy who live sin Japan to translate these. He says it is just an interview with a guy who made the custom armor. So not coming out anytime soon.

If u just consider Yamato as the start of the renaissance of Macross toys, then some of us have been doing it for over a decade. Hell, if you consider the Zero's the start of the 1/60 boom, then we've been going for 7. My point is, this is an expensive series to collect, and you just started. No shame in taking it slow

i have 4 0S's and 3 0A's from the original runs, and i would STILL by an updated S and A toy. Ones with tighter joints and better grip for the gunpods. i have 4 0S's and 3 0A's from the original runs, and i would STILL by an updated S and A toy. I dunno if I like it better than Arcadias 19 overall, but I agree its more sturdy. It also holds the gunpod a bit tighter, which I prefer. I also think its ging to stay tighter than the 25 series has, party because the shoulder hinges lock together better. The issue i have with the 25's is the hinge that swings the arms into position, and the hinges that raises them up and down come loose. On the 30 the whole assembly just locks into place, and i think thats a huge improvement

Amen to that, brother.

I would buy those in a heartbeat. What a great use of the pods, especially since Im overall kinda meh on the Tornado parts!
