ive always figured the hand units ona valk ( any of them) must have some sort of magnetic properties to minimise the chance of missing the gunpods during transform. the 0,1,17 and 19 all definitely have gunpods that need to be caught, so some chances to minimise losing it would have to be taken.

gorgeous. this is going to be the crown jewel in many a collection.
-
i think they mean a shorter nose/stomach chest section in battroid. but its never bothered me on the 48 either...
-
yeah i thought the cf was way down the line. i have 1 1/60 left after sellingt hem all, and that was the 1d. it hasnt been transformed in years. I hust leave it in fighter on display. hence my desire for some redone 1/60 vf-1s!
-
magazine for sure, the top of the pod...is there a need for it too? as for the second pilot; I think it would require to much of a redesign to rweally be worthwhile, unless they go off continuity. i mean some of us would buy em, but i dont see it being a high priority for many, especially considering the high price point of the 19

actually i noticed the joints on my low viz 2 are also very tight. must have been later run valks. then again noe of my 48s are too loose. As for the BP thrusters on the 0S, I found that there IS apoint where they lock into place. dont force em, but u will find they clock in if u try.

my ideal would be an eventual LowViz schemed 1D, but ill take what I can get

dammit, that angel bird is growing on me.....I dont want it to grow on me.... -
i like 2 seater fighters, but i dont expect to see one of the 19. we'll see the 0D before we see that.

Im kinda torn between wanting to hear some reviews, and wanting one striaght away. at almost $300 for the toy Australian, I want to be damn sure Im getting a good product. My first 0S is the first time i have had a QC issue with a Yamato Product, and thats after buying many of their Valks. Ill hold off. Im sure they'll be around to buy for a long time once they hit.
-
id buy a roy, a tv style Hikaru 1J, and any low viz ones.
-
i think they'll sell the FP/fold booster as a set later. depending on the size/complexity of the booster it could be worth while. me, I dont really like the FPs or fold, and would never display with them on the valjk anyway. So Im happy witha mint 19.

i always assumed he just shifted modes and grabbed it, but i suppose they may drop it and he catches it. Heck, if they release it, wouldnt it fall backwards towards him and let him grab it?
-
amazing pics of the 19 there. it getsbetter with every viewing. that dot on the bootom of the 19s nose i assumed WAS a camera. There would have to be several external camera to create the VR cockpit we see in the anime. though in part 4 it seems to have been turned off or something, u can clearly see the floor at a couple of points. man, i cant wait for this baby...

see, i guess a part of it is that I play with my toys, so id like some VF-1s that I can play with in relation to the other variables. Im such a geek

any word on whats happened with the second version of the s type?
-
is that Skull Sqadron schemed? the white, black yellow one? i think id prefer the B. While the 11's head is a little dull, I LOVE the Bayonet on the Gunpod. Its one of my favourite features on a VF type plane.
-
yea i like my Milia and Max fighters. U got to have guts to fly around ina bright blue or red plane.
-
Id want it 1/60. id like em all in the same scale.
-
Well, i guess on the 21 id want a fair bit of improvment. id want to be able to handle and pose the figure without it feeling so fragile. better transform, or somehow made so that the legs can be stored in somethign less than 20 minutes of fiddling. hands that can hld the guns without having to be replaced. a more solid feel to the battloid mode. U know the more I think about it, the more I realise the 21 was really just let down by its alt modes. I didnt mind the fighter, but then I am not as concerned with lineart accuracy as a lot of u guys. i just want a nice LOOKING fighter. If it looks sleek and cool; Im in. It was the way u couldnt really do anything cool with the battloid mode that anoyed me. the legs flopped everywhere at the hips, the back basically blocked most arm movement....in tryuth its my least favourite of the transforming valks, simply because it just always felt a bit off. Ill by a 1/60 YF-21, but I suspect no matter how much improves, it will never be my favourite. As for the 11B, I love the 1/72 scale toy, but some fixes would be great. The shoulders need to be made more solid somehow, with a less scary bar system designed. the pieces that sit just inside the shoulders and cover the swingbar from view need to be more securely able to lock into place. the tailfin need to be longer. The hips need to be able to sit more flush in fighter mode. And Gerwalk as a whole needs to be done just BETTER so that the wings have some more support. The heatshield....i dont seehow it can be a part of the fighter and still work. I dont know how it goes in the lineart or the "actual" plane, but i suspect the cockpit recesses and it fold up from the front and back, somewhat like a 1D. i think the engineering invovled in that would be more complicated than is necessary, so Id be ok with some kind of snap on heat shield in this case. Come to thinjk of it, does the viewport on the 21 close up in battloid?

he has more strickers on than me. What are all the stickers on the sheet for anyway? Some of them just seem to be randomly on the sticker sheet with no definied purpose. -
same. I just like the idea of having them. i see no real hassle with putting in at leasta swivel so the wheels sit in the housing sideways. i think the sliding in and out nose tube might be a bit much. While not impossible, I see it as adding cost to make without really afdding a tonne to the toy. As for ejecto limbs, Im with Kensei; I tdoesnt need to have em, and I forsee it being more problematic than solving problems
-
The 21 toy was a BIT CH to get back into fighter mode in 1/72. if and when they DO make a 1/60, i just hope its easier to transform. But lets face it, Yamato has come a long way since then, so its safe to assume we'll be fine
-
i dont think so, no. Doesnt sound like this has happeend to anyone else though
