u know as I was transforming these back to fighter i had a thought - do u think a part of the problem is the excess pressure u place on the shoulder when ransforming? u push down to lock it in in fighter, and then u have to pull it out of the sicket for the valk modes. must put a strain on the shoulder joints...
  2. these look really great. i have a few dios planned for myself, and u have given me several good ideas do u have any pics of the whole display?

Ok, today i took apart all of my zeros. of the 4 i own, i have 1 0S and 1 0A with cracks through the shoulders. ive loosened all the screws and coated al of the joints with a glue to help seal it.
  4. and yet most ppeople who got their 19s early are fine. the people having problems seem to have waited. And possibly all came from BBTS or somesuch...
  5. transformed mine again coz i was getting worried, and its all still fine.
  6. i dont see how the torso COULD attach in Gerwalk. About the best I could think of was some pegs at the bottom of the torso secion that lock into holes at the fuselage. But even that wouldnt really do the job well...
  7. u picked a beauty
  8. i havent seen any prices listed...
  9. i fixed mine, but i think it was to the left
  10. or if the standalone one has white fueltank connectors so it can attah to roys Zero?
  11. hjmmm thanx dante Well, its been ok so far. if i get worried about it Im sure i can rig a fix somehow. in a pinch Ill convert to fighter and leave it that way.
  12. i stand corrected, ity is indeed rubber seeping out the hip joint. is this likely to be a big concern?
  13. yeah id go with putting plastic on the handle. muh less invasive.

    1/60 YF19 rant

no kidding! Yoiks dude... As Ive said elsewhere, i have never had a problem with any Yamato stuff up till the recent 0's. And then, yeah i had problems. but its still overall good, and the problems arent universal. the 1/48 vf-1 i havent had a single problenm with, and Ive had 6. All are fine. heck i have 2 more on the way and another 3 in my backlog at Neova! As for the 19, i think in some ways its Yamatos best. Its much more easy to play with than the otehrs. ive transformed it many time, and never had issues with the canards, legs, or intake covers coming off. its had minor issues with the wheel and gun. nothing huge. mot people wouldnt notice them. we're herdier than most, so we did. Ra Yamato I say!
  15. *gasp!* Changes?! To the original lineart?!?!?! Teh Internetz would break11!!1!!!
  16. we really need to update the FAQ thread....
  17. almost looks like a foam piece....
  18. I dont put the gunstraps on my 48 anyway. a bit fragile for my tastes, and u just have to take em off when they transform.
  19. I always found it really hard to transfofrm, mainly in the leg sections.
  20. most of Kowamoris later designs, like the 51 and he zero, seemed moe 'lined' Id say the detail will be there in abundance.
