oh it6s definitely a solid lpiece. ans the light system, cockpit hatch work, gun holster etc are all extremely well done. i just expected it to be about the size of a garland i think

actually, ive never been convinced the 1/48's were actually that size. The pilots are too small, i think. I could be wrong.

they seem to be. the shoulders are the only parts that are new as far as i can see.

i just cant justify the price. I paid $170 aussie shipped for mine, and its tiny. i can't justify that on a second when i have so many other things i like more.

i have bought 2 toynamis, and had no faults with either, other than the nose on the alpha being raised, which is a design issue, not a qc one.

I got him ina sale, for about $70 Aussie (55 us or so). Ill be excited if I can pay 80 or less for these guys in Australian, because shipping is always a killer out here. It looks like that figure has sold out again. S'ok, I've seen em round ebay for about what I will pay. Ill be getting these slowly in between Macross and my other buys I DO like the figures a lot though. The busts are a neat idea, though i dont think I need one for Seiya. hell, all they need to do is release a few of the base bodies with diff coloured 'clothes' so u can update them for the older armours...

...and now i have. Its much MUCH smaller than i expected. I thought someoen said it was 20cms tall or something; its more like 15. At first this dispmayed me a bit, but further fiddling has made me like it a bit more. The light system is incredible. If they were a little cheaper to buy Id get a second so I could have a unit 1 and a unit 2.

They look very cool man. What sort of price is reasonable for them IYO? I think I basically want just the 5 bronze saints and Jabu. And i already have Seiya

Man, thats incredible, thank you i like the newer bodies more than the old, so I s'pose Ill skip most of the gold saints at this time, unless they re-issue them with the newer body stule. Sagitarius and Leo both caught my eye. At this moment I want the final armour for the main 5 Bronze saints and the Unicorn one. I dig all those from what I've seen. Of the gold saints Im most tempted by Sgaitarius and Leo, though the one with the scales is tempting too (I forget what sign that is). I just wish the figure bodies were the newer type on them. Are they likely to reissue the older ones? And are there any pics around of these addition packs u talked about?

Im in love. I bought my first saint seiya figure last night, and i think its AMAZING! Where have these toys been all my life?! The armour is great, they're hyperposable....wow. what an amazing figure! I got the Hades armour version of Seiya himself, which i was excited by as it was one of the ones i liked the pictures of. The armour is metal! Actual metal! Are they all real metal, or just seiya?! Seriously, tell me more! I like the blue dragon armour and the Leo and Sagitarius armours; are they hard to find? And whats a decent price for these bad boys? Help me seiya fans, i may be hooked...

Id imagine it would be similar, but i suppose it depends where the symvbols sit in relation to the joins and transform points.

It doesnt matter, at least not in the Aussie ones. As soon as u bought it it became a second hand one, even if it sat ina cupboard for years.
