i actually leave the replacmeent fuel tank parts attached even when I dont have it displayed with the ghost. I know it leaves gaps n all, but i cant be bothered swapping them out each time, and it doesnt bother me so much. As for reactive armour; Id be pretty surprised if it DIDNT come out at some point. Im just hoping it comes as a loose unit and not only bundled with a 0S

I found Noras shoulders locked much better than Ivanovs did as well. The whole fighter is harder. Id echo what Dave said: Onc eu get a handle on the shoulder/wing section, the rest isnt as hard as it looks. i meant to ask folk: I know u all said the missles were tighter on Nora, but did anyone else find them stupidly tight? I was afraid i was going to snap them trying to get the things attached!

See, i might get opne. Maybe. But purely from a completist POV. I dont NEED one, and Im not really attarcted to getting one. id be more inclinedto get the m7 variable mecha to wanted battlepods. Hell, Id by Scale sized zentradi troops before Id buy Battlepods.

Ky Nora arrived yesterday....and i have to say I have been turned around. I was never a huge fan of the design of the 51, as i have stated elsewhere. I got the DD, and liked it ok, but wasnt in love with it. I assumed this had to do with my general dislike of the design, and thought nothing of it. Well, i dont know if it was the looseness orthe paintscheme, but when I got my Nora, it all clicked for me. the plane is AWESOME! It's great! i love playing with it, the look is great, it kicks ass in all three modes...Great toy! It may have even changed my mind about getting the CF, just so I can have a third one too display the thing in all 3 modes, somethingI have never really worried about before. Very very happy with mine. oh! And regarding the tape thing: Mine appears brand new, the box was perfect and i had 2 lots of tape on every side. i dunno if that means something or not, but there u go.

i only have 2 old ones left, so ill keep them around for now.

i paint with some small brushes. Citadels dry really fast, so i painted all the words off in one go, then left it for half an hour, then applied stickers and it was done.

i wasnt going too originally, but now Im thinking i might.

the missles didnt stay well and the wing joints were loose. both are now apparently fixed.

yep, citadel black paint over the gold, then just spare stickers i had on different sheets. was going to put the red intake stickers on, but they usually sit lower than the gold stripes on the legs, and i didnt want to paint over those. In the end I just left em off. glad u guys liked it

So heres my 25th Anni with a fresh coat of paint n stickers, and my original YF-19, which I repainted into a camo scheme and horridly screwed up. Still, people asked to see it so.... It rubs the paint horridly to transform, so this will be one of the few times its in Battroid.

the fast pack pods for the tail. I assume their fuel tanks, but mounting them on the valks shields seems pretty dumb.

oh dont get me wrong, Im glad they're releasing it all together, its just not a look i prefer.

more than it's worth. i realised i hadnt included the stealth FAST packs or the 25th Anni 1S, I havnt got those either.

Im just not a fan of theose FAST packs..... i mean its cool they included them, and i really like the gun design, but i just dont like the added thickness. And what the hell are those things on the tail meant to be?

To return to the topic at hand, while i know the VF-1 will be smaller and thus cost less, Inm surprised that Yamato didnt jack the cost back up by including a stand and maybe FAST Packs right off the cuff. i mean Id pay an extra few dollars to have it all in one conveniant package....

still appl;ying stickers, but for the record, Citadel Matte black matches the colour perfectly.

got mine today. VERY sweet ride, and a great coloour scheem for the future. i got just the 19, and am very happy with it. Will post pics once i paint out the words and apply stickers.

yeah, but I still wouldnt pick any 1/60's up till the new ones hit. At least then u will know for certain what the favoured choice is.

i have to admit, when i first read the news of the 1/60's release, I mentally started shifting thigs in my display to make room for em I think a couple will have to come to work, or at least Ill have to find other places to display em.....

Also, while the SMS may be known to public, that's not to say the people on the ship know who is a part of the organisation. Like the Justice League is public, but no one knows superman is Clark Kent.

Also, I assume that the exo-suit has a way of being used in space, possibly something that coems out of the cockpit, or something worn when a pilot is doing space work. That could mean the gun is designed as a basic fighter stopper, but was just ineffective against the bugs. As for Rankas phone, I suspect its just a machine that looks organic. It doesnt move indepoendantly or anything. Inertia dampeners would be a hinderance to a pilot i would think. It would be like playing a video game, you wouldnt feel a part of the action.
