Ive never undertsood collecting toys as an investment. Its an iffy proposition, depending on how well it stores, demand for the item, initial price and availablility. i have something like 4 toys in boxes, and thats largely because i have nowhere to put them out on display. I also have a box of toys in packets to give to my kids some day. As for the "things you own.." quote; I have long since become comfortable with the knowledge of my own commercialism.

i knodwa know someone with Bandai contacts for Saint Seiya, I can ask him if he knows anything bout Macross, but i doubt it.

the line about being conservative was before the fight with the Mk3. His convo with the 10 Rings guy wasnt very long, all he said was "He has a more refined suit now" no details given. I'm with Kaned on reflection; He was makign assumptions about Tonys suit. He was basically assuming that bigger was better.

i run half/half on the copmpleting thing. It depends how many ina set i want in the first place. Also sometimes something i wasnt sure Id want i turn out liking a great deal, so it can be a tricky game. As for expensive toys; I have found as i got older that my tastes have definitely shifted to the more pricey stuff i buy now; Macross is debateably the worst for it, at nearly $300 a toy sometimes. Saint Seiya stuff averages out between $50 and $100. i used to import GI Joe: Sigma 6, which was costing me close to $30 a figure, and i pretty much collected all of those (Not quite, but 4/5's of the line.) Transformers....i got most of them, and wish I hadnt actually. i got alot of Armada/Enegron, and ended up stuck with some i dont like and selling others cheap. Marvel Legends got worse after they went to Hasbro, and more expensive and harder to find. And now Im into the Gundam models.... i guess my point is that the toy industry has constantly been going up in price and quality. I have collected my whole life. There has never been a time i "got out of it" or ceased collecting. I have never noticed a huge hike in prices or anything, just a gradual increase. Also, in australia it all costs more anyway. Another hike wont stop me from buying.

And while i hate the shumacher films too, it did have some funny momentys: Riddler to Two Face: "You know...that's never going to heal if you keep picking..."

I got the Ver Ka, and i dont like it that much really. Its small, it's fiddly, its very loose....probably my least fav model so far.

Am i the only one who wouldnt like to see Mandarin? I was never even a fan in the comics, let alone a movie version of him... Stick to hi tech baddies or at least massively strong ones...

That Astrea looks really nice. As i understand it, the Astrea is the working test type for the various systems on the 4 Gundams from themain show; It has Exias agility, Virtues heavy gun, Kyrios repeating cannon....maybe it snipes? I dunno. Anyway it looks pretty sweet to me!

I loved Iron Man, even as a kid. Ive always been a sucker for robots or guys in armour. Just always thought it was a cool concept. Hasbros Iron Man figures arent bad either. i have ever IM figure (Except one, dammit) since the start of the Marvel legends line, so I plan to get all the movie ones.

I found the secret to turning is apply the brake at the same time as u handbrake, that slows u enough to get u round the turn but lets u keep some speed up. That and practice.

Thats awesome all right. Im vaguly worried about poseability with the arm and leg attachments being all PT, but overall it still looks amazing.

They are correct, he is after the credits. An excellent first film that gives me hope for the franchise. I loved it all actually, I wouldnt change anything. Im to tireds to review peoperly, but its worth seeing people!
