Got a notice that my order is in processing so it'll most likely ship out tomorrow or tuesday. If that's the case it's strong likely hood this will be a birthday present to myself and I must say a most excellent one at that.

Heard those 7 inches don't have the best articulation but the 18 inch Gypsy Danger had some really cool gimmicks....but not worth 80+ I think. Although I wouldn't mind seeing some model kits of these things.

I didn't even hear about the CF until it was almost too late. Moment I saw pictures of that baby I had to get it. Yeah I'd rather have 3 or so but unless they're coming with number stickers I don't want 3 SMS 027's on the wings. Either way it's a beautiful color and better than what I remember with the camo tan and the purple on the noggins.

Yeah still pretty steep in the end.

Hm, well I never heard from NY, and they took the release date listing off. Ah well. Anyone ordered the VF-25A CF yet? Luckily preordered a week ago and saw it's already sold out.
-
Tamashii Web exclusive....soooooo unless you live in Japan.......merp. you're kinda S.O.L. However it's not uncommon for some retailer to sell it at almost double the price.

I went today, had to do 3D since all the regular showings were really late in the afternoon. surprisingly, I came out satisfied! Not only did I go in there with mild expectations thinking I'm watching like a glorified tokyo robot jox with godzilla reject monsters and end up liking it, but I also got a free soda AND the entire movie theater to myself! I think that helped me enjoy the movie a lot more cause I didn't have people chatting and being annoying like usual. Gotta say, though it was shallow robot monster mashing film, it was good. That's going on my 3D Bluray list.

Just the name alone makes it bad. I think Jeff Bridges just didn't have anything better to do at the time.

But the renewals ARE 1/60 scale....
-
Eh, I prepaid mine......so it's okay no big deal. NY still says 7/20 release date.
-
Just don't pay for it or email them......it's not hard : / but thing about NY is that once you preorder they expect you to pay. Kind of like TFSource, TFSource wont let you cancel your orders without real good reason but they could penalize you too. I've canceled once from NY and they understood. It was mainly cause I just didn't have the money past their 2 week mark. Another way is bring up your order detail, and on the write a message portion, write "Request cancellation found at better price and purchased."

I believe it was said that Hasbro had no interest in the smaller of the mp line cause 1) license, 2) Price, 3) They don't feel they're popular enough characters or something. I can't wait in 2 weeks I'll get my MP-12 with my Hexatron. I just hope the paint job on my sideswipe is clean as possible.- 16946 replies

Except that according to Hasbro he's suppose to be in scale with the Legends/Cybervese figures....which is odd. Even in the comics he couldn't hold "millions" maybe a hundred, maybe less. MASS-SHIFTING!!- 16946 replies

The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread
Hikuro replied to slaginpit's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Combiners are pretty neccessary seeing how they made up a fairly large military force in the series and franchise, not so much for the autobots as they really only had 3 groups, but the Decepticons who had at least 5 groups, Constructicons, Stunticons, Combaticons, Predacons and then Terracons, in that order, they made up the mass majority of the Decepticon army. Seeing how hasbro really hasn't released squat of any good combiners in forever, it's understandable why 3rd party groups are eating that up. Not only are they making a killing by doing this, they're giving the majority of fans a design concept and styling of the combiners that meets fan approval overall. Not this skinny, lanky, almost non possable slop Hasbro gave us with FOC Bruticus. However I do believe that these groups, by making so many variations of the same characters, really hurt the fans as they are either torn on what works for their collection, or the amount of money it costs per figure while it can take a couple of months between figures to complete an entire gestalt. I did like what Maketoys did though, by releasing their constructicons in a 2 pack almost monthly whereas TFC released monthly if not slightly longer. Not too mention Maketoys only had to make corrections on 2 figures that were rather minor by their final 2 pack release, where it was almost every figure TFC released needed to be fixed I believe. In either case, MMC has finally shipped out to retail on Hexatron. TFSource stated that if there's no delays they'll have their stock in warehouse by next week which is awesome! Not only will I be FINALLY getting my Hexatron I paid for several months ago, but also my MP-12 Sideswipe! It would also seem that the first of their Predacon line up will be Bovis who will be released August 15th.- 9240 replies

That looks promising, my only hope is that they tackle Defensor correctly as it seems every combiner they've done is met with QC and design issues they later charge ppl more on later.- 9240 replies

Bandai 1/72 fully transform able VF-1 plastic kit for Macross 30th Ann
Hikuro replied to Vi-RS's topic in Model kits
Those photos really make me feel like I just didn't do my build correctly or I'm just not understanding something. The nose cone panel wont lock when I put the legs in, the panels that need to keep the front and back halves of the Torso just fit into place but don't lock or stay there they kind of just dangle. The locking panels on the back of the legs are a joke and useless. Why they decided to do that just didn't make sense, I'm sure those legs can stay straight and locked if they could be pegged either into the booster pack or into the forearms. I really think, the only good thing I like about the model, is the cockpit and the amount of detail the model has overall. It's fairly good. But that just isn't enough to keep me interested. so for now, this thing is sitting back in it's box. -
Gundam Build Fighters/Build Fighters Try
Hikuro replied to VF-15 Banshee's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It'll be 4 I think. The 2 a year episode mark really didn't happen and since they had to add an episode to really cover everything, but I think also cause the OVA series has been very popular.- 971 replies

Well since the Metroplex from SDCC is essentially the same as Takara's and seeing those photos......I think I'm pretty off sticking with the regular Hasbro version. The Chrome on the face and all over those thighs really don't do it for me.- 16946 replies

Gundam Build Fighters/Build Fighters Try
Hikuro replied to VF-15 Banshee's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well I liked Gunpla builders OVA so I'm not entirely against this. I'm more against how futuristic it looks instead of being more current era Gunpla was. It's kinda like Yugioh meets Beyblade meets Kaijudo meets you get the point : /- 971 replies
