    I don't mind Yune as an artist, he's pretty good and he stays "faithful" to the designs, but I also think he kind of rehashes his posses again and again for his covers.

    This is pretty much the first time I ever painted these little 1/100 character figures at this much color and detail BESIDES the pilot ones that sit in the MS. Think I did rather well honestly!

    local hobby store had 4 different Build fighters, Build MK II, Zaku Amazing, and Italian Wing and X Maoh:P. Kinda goofy kits up close really.

    Alright! I got my Nu Gundam, cracked 'er open and started working on it. I DO NOT like the Decals. I lost 2 so far, almost tore 3 off by accident cause they won't sit in place and I'm trying to be really picky on what I want to use since there's over 100. Ugh, dammit all. I hope this only sticks to ver. ka's.

    ugh I forgot the Sinaju is decal only. Although I don't get why some of the Sazabi has to have thin thin T H I N red stickers and not just have it as a seperate red piece of armor to add that depth and tone. Either case I'm done for the night, and I'm gonna set the Sazabi aside so I can work on the Nu Gundam tomorrow after I take my girlfriend to work.

    I've been tinkering with my Sazabi ka. Right now I really enjoy the kit, the decals really liven it up a bunch. But I'm not planning on going full on nuts with those, 152 is a bit much to put it lightly.

    Got some booty today. I scored a RG Zeta Gundam which I hope ends up being better than the 2.0, already kinda looks it. And while I was at another hobby store to pick up exacto blades I came across the Sazabi ver Ka! I couldn't believe these guys got this kit when it was just released. I was stunned! Price point was real high, it almost made me turn it away but I felt I'd be crazy to do that when it's right there, RIGHT THERE infront of me. I dunno guys, was I crazy?

    Really? gonna go with that? I agree, it hasn't changed much, it's modernized from it's old 80's designs, and it still retains the look of the ingram. You can't look at that and say it DOESN'T resemble an ingram.

    God.......I remember that. but honestly I never tied that to being Robocop. Not like Mac n Me was a dumbed down ET variant. Or Atlantic Rim is clearly a knock off of Pacific Rim, etc etc.

    just got a package today from my girl, she bought me the Nu Gundam ver Ka but I promised I wouldn't do anything until after christmas. Guess it's okay, I got a 2 week vacation coming up anyways.

    yeah figured that'd be the case, but guess just gives it that nice combiner illusion. I had an attempted charge by BBTS today for the Not-Swoop Fall of Cybertron toy, sadly I didn't have the 80+ dollars to pay for it so I had to cancel the damn thing

    It's boxed to have the option of the LED light kit, but again it's that seperate purchase you gotta make. Girlfriend bought me a Nu Gundam ver. Ka for christmas, but now that I'm seeing that Bandai's going Decal crazy I'm kind of bummed. I don't mind decals all that much, they just take longer for me to apply and when they're gone they're gone if I screw it up. Oh well, guess just carefully take my time!

    Been on the fence on TW's Orion, partially the head, partially the size, and partially because I really do have enough Optimus Prime figures. My Hyper Novae showed up yesterday, and I gotta say for ANOTHER retool of the battle tanker line, it's not bad. He's at least bigger than most deluxes, almost voyager scale, but plugging his backpack in is a real pain in the ass. I had to remove the wings from their ball joints just to see where i was going when plugging it in, and it's a VERY tight fit. Now i've heard and even seen where people have problems plugging the orange bits into his "knees" and what not. If that's the cases I could be in for a world of hurt since I'm all out of sand paper.

    Victory Gundam would make a pretty nice RG. Gotta tell you, was pretty disappointed with my Zeta 2.0. Transformation is stiff and difficult, parts ont he runners were thin and snapped real easily. And the damn thing can't stand on it's own at all. I liked MKII 2.0 better, a LOT better.

    it didn't seem like the short supply thing isn't that bad this year around. I was at a Fredmyers locally and they while were out were going to get another big shipment of both Xbox One and PS4's and were smart enough to limit it 1 per customer.

    So the other day I went to my local hobby shop, they had very little, usually do, and their prices are just outrageous...but I saw the Proto Wing Zero but ugh, 68 bucks was juts to much. Thus this morning I went further down to another hobby shop and they pretty much half a third of a 20 foot long shelf dedicated to Gunpla kits. I found the exact same kit, 13 bucks cheaper! Didn't get it though this is where it gets better. I ended up walking out with Zeta Gundam limited 2.0 for 60 and an EZ-8 for 35 and a lil EVA for my girlfriend, so all in all about 100 bucks. best part was as I was looking at the massive amounts of Gundam kits one of the store managers comes up to me saying if I give him my wallet he'll get me some kits of his recommendation or something lol. he told me how out of the entire store Gunpla moves the fastest of everything else there. I made a joke about Build Fighers and you should of seen this guys eyes light up and he rushed over somewhere and told a guy to find the Gundam INFO page and link it to their store website lol. Hilarious. So yeah, I'm finally building my first Zeta Gundam MG. I had a C Plus I think it was, but it wasn't great, the hips popped out all the time from the main frame. So I hear this kit eliminated ALL the problems. And I love the EZ-8's design, it was oen of my first kits way back when I got out of highschool. So I'm building a brand new one!
