exactly. that's exactly what I've been doing. I wanted to wait till all my decals were set but after placement they'd shift or fall off without warning. so I'd have too spray coat.

right. with the normal sticker sheet you get from various kits they're much easier to put on but difficult in some cases to place exactly where they need to go due to the way they're contoured cut just a bit thick. rub on transfers or dry transfers really limit that to almost 0 contour cut, BUT if you don't rub it well enough or careful during the peel off you'll lose chunks of the graphic. water slide decals will still have a contour cut like stickers but will usually be thinner. just soak in water and while waiting a good 30 seconds for the decal to slide off I prep the area with a cotton swab of microseal then apply the decal and with the seal I rub the decal with it so it'll bond better. once the part is decaled you should matte spray to make sure the detail stays on.

I don't remember the RG's coming with decals....Exia didn't come with any. I dunno what's up with Bandai's decal treatment, while they're raised they feel cheap. They don't take as long to wet and roll off like some I"ve encountered on other models. But they are certainly thin as hell and tend to peal or tear very easily! What REALLY gripes me is the constant lil ones with the circles on them, and they gotta have like 50 of these lil suckers. I'm adding them, cause, well, you wanna. But they tend to drop off easily.

okay new rule. If you EVER do decals, do NOT wait until the kit is finished. Matte spray each section, Arms, Shoulders, torso, waist, legs, backpack, armaments. I was gonna matte spray this after everything was done so it'd be easy. but dammit I lost like 7 decals in total and I'm pissed about that.

if I got time tomorrow...I'm going to play decal wars with the Hi-Nu. There's I think 120+ of them the bulk majority being caution, warning, no step kind of junk. Otherwise the kit is done. extremely back heavy. I would normally go buy a 1/100 stand for this thing but it comes with one. I however do not like the stand it comes with and may end up picking up the basic, painting it and go from there.

Hikuro replied to Brooklynwolf's topic in Movies and TV Series
Hey, you're the one starting a bogus ass thread to vent your frustrations over a pair of movies you couldn't even watch properly cause you chose to see it without subtitles. It'd of been proper ettique to of done this www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=34315 Here or on a topic already specifically relating to the frontier films. Here's my thing, you're upset over the way the movie ended in a particular format you hate seeing, where you're left to question and wonder what happened to Alto. Guess what? if you watch the TV series, you're left with a very similar set of questions. So why be upset? This is how a lot of the Macross films are actually done. DYRL - you know Hikaru chooses Misa, but the two go off on the Megaroad 01 and WHAM! something happened to them and you'll never know. Zero - Did Shin die? Did he survive? where did he go? Again, we'll never know. 7 - Basara flies off back into space just as Mylene shows up. Did he fly back to the 7th fleet? did he go off to follow the whales? Did he remember to gas up and grab some snacks before he took off? We'll never know. Plus - Same thing, wtf happened to Dyson and Myung? I mean he's not just gonna get away with what he did with a slap on the wrist or a heroes welcome. He'd be up for some serious jail time or even a firing squad. I don't think Millard could cover his ass. Frontier TV Series - I won't spoil it, but again, questions are raised. Let me ask you this, cause I'm not from your area of China you proclaim to be from. Why are there no english subtitled variants available for you? Is it just cause of the country? Or are there internet limitations on what you can look for? While I'm not able to post links to various websites giving fansub treatment to such great franchise lines like Frontier, I would be willing to help you out in private. There are many stream websites and torrents available to download not only the films but the tv series as well so you can have a better idea of what was going on and maybe feel a little less stupid and griping cause you didn't understand what was going on clearly enough. But as for your last statement, I can come and go to any thread I want, YOU'RE the one who opened it. If you don't like that, don't create a thread. I, a so called Makuros l337 board member, am at least offering you a chance to not look like a total ass and give you the resources you need to know what's going on in the franchise. -

as far as I'm concerned, this is something that should of belonged in the n00b section of the forums. -
The Rogue if I remember right is more of the pirate's GM from the 3rd story arc of AGE....which AGE....eeeehhh. Now THAT I remember ppl complaining those were some of the worst designs and kits possible in the Bandai line. I'm working on my Hi-Nu ver Ka. I suggest a word of caution to some, the plastic on this thing is sooooofffft. I realized I made a mistake on the foot that I should of had a V8 on. So I was taking the back purple part off the heel and I usually am slow and careful, but m y grip was a little to much and I stressed the plastic on the side panel of that piece...if I had broken it, th at'd of been it, kit would of been worthless. I do like the amount of detail this thing has though...I'm enjoying the quick yet extensive detailed build of this. I'm keeping all of the sections as divided up as possible for easier decal placement.

Shalldoll, Adele, Genoace, are examples of UC like GM suits. For example, the Adele Mark II resembles very strongly to a GM Sniper II.

It's still the kids. Regardless if Miller wanted to go that direction the way this movie started and ended were the tribe that stayed and the tribe that left.

imo, what REALLY ruined this film, the ONE thing I wanna nitpick about? The damn kids. Those damn kids ruined the movie. But it should also stand that Mel Gibson was changing too. He was starting to ditch his Auzzie accent and I felt that was very apparent in this film....which is funny cause Lethal Weapon came out 2 years later and you could REALLY hear his accent coming out to say "'ello!" Which is funny to me cause he's actually american born to irish/australian family in NY, then moved Australia, spent most of his childhood and young adult life there, then after Mad Max shot him to fame he moved out of Australia. And rest, is history.

I got it for free today I was like "WOW REALLY?!" a friend had preordered it on Xbox One but they were all sold out so he told them he'd take the PS4 though he didn't have it. I told him he should of hit Walmart they had a midnight release so he went there after work and got his copy and just handed me his PS4 saying it was to much of a pain in the ass to take it back cause he had already opened the wrapping. I bought him lunch as a thank you. In other news, little bummed I couldn't keep my Beta character but I'll live. I went with an unorthodox move for someone like myself and skipped being a Titan and went Warlock. It's VERY different for me.

I don't mind online games. I just don't like paying a service that much unless I'm REALLY into it. for instance I was super pissed off after buying Titan fall and found out I had to have xbox live just to play it. should of done my research before I had bought it.

think I'm gonna pass on this game....while the storymode I guess doesn't require PSPlus other online features do to really maximize your gaming experience. And with that I'm saying "naw".

wing kits are a good example. None of the MG's there carry that over. Hi-Nu Ver Ka doesn't have it. Really t here's a number of MG's since the 2.0's that don't have it.

for right now I'll just sit back and wait...UT's version isn't grabbing me right now. I wanna see what MMC or if Maketoys does anything. I finally paid off enough on my CC to make my purchase on Quatron.- 9240 replies

bandai is completely random on when they so it. I've built more kits without that helpful guide than with it. but yes I am well aware they've been using that for a while but it should be on all MG and PG kits. I think RGs use it.

Well I just finished Turn X. Lemme tell you, interesting kit, lots of different ways you can go about on this thing. Not a heck of a lot of this kit is even symmetrical either...but it isn't rocket science either. It works a lot in similarity to the Turn A for instructions, telling you which trees to use and such which I LOVE. Wish Bandai did that more. Biggest draw back which is also a kick in detail and size would be the weapons pack. There's a lot going on detail wise that's easy to get lost in looking at, but pretty damn simple to assemble. But it'll add a ton of weight onto the figure. Also uses the Wing Gundam platform of hands unlike Turn A which has individually poseable fingers. Gotta say though I liked how mine turned out, didn't really have any problems assembling it.

pff heck no. not even the same looks imo. I think that might of been one of the first GM type mobile suits I ever built....I failed at it though. I think at the time I was trying to build a customized version using different colors back when I was such a newb. I think some of the armor had snapped at the peg cause it was so thick from the paint I had used and that was that, couldn't fix it, scrapped it and built RGM-79Q instead. I do wish there were more MG variants out there of the RGM series, they may not be all winners but it's those kind of mobile suits that I THINK make better customization attempts than a Gundam. In storage I did an RGM-79 version 2 based off a role playing character I had and had to ask the GM what the mobile suit squad colors were. nailed that sucker too! was one of my best paint jobs EVER to this day...really wish I could get that sucker out and display it proudly again. Infact, there's gonna be a time where I'm gonna have to keep certain models in storage or boxed cause I've already replaced them with better versions I redone later....like Turn A for example.

nothing wrong with liking a suit that ain't a Gundam I always say! They're all HGUC's. Although I'd love a MG of a Jegan, although I'm sure it'd be super easy to build since it lacks a few details and is very streamlined like Victory Gundam.

Aliens: Colonial Marines morphs into Isolation
Hikuro replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
so pretty much in the end, Colonial Marines for better or worse is going to end up losing more money than they ever tried to put in or take. "We're sorry you played a horrible game even though deep down in the basement files we knew it was going to be bad but we wanted to sucker you for it anyways. Here's 60 cents of your portion of the law suit you won."- 216 replies

same thing as Azrael said. as for your other Q, don't think there's a SD variant cause of its design. and sounds like you need a decal. problem is size and design. if it has white it can't be done on a normal printer as most can't produce white ink.
