  1. Ugh nevermind spoiler tag isn't working for me for some damn reason. Just overall, movie wasn't bad, it wasn't great. But it wasn't bad. It's no where near the first or the 2nd but it's better than the 3rd and the 4th.
  2. I'd like for a franchise revival that sticks to the original concept that the terminator can be anyone and SCC was the only series that dived head first into that. Even chromartie changed his appearance. It did bug me in the novels that all the terminators that Serena built and fleshed would be a 101 and had to make physical changes such as hair dye or facial hair.
  3. weathers been to hot and muggy to play with that compressor so I'm not even painting anything! I did start working on one of my Origin models, the hi-mobility zaku from Black Tri-Stars and overall this new Zaku mold is really refreshing, even adding things that the RG kit doesn't have and it's just so nice. Really like the engineering done on this.
  4. For the time it was a fantastic movie. The only bit I hate has been the remastered audio which ruins the film for me. I wish I knew who did it and terminate them.
  5. That's not bad if it can hold that rank at a 7 than it means that it's a better film than rise or salvation. Ouch I just went on RT, and while I don't agree with ratings they give movies all the time I did feel a bit shocked this flick is at 14%.
  6. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001738DXU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 thats what i got.
  7. That's good. I'm actually having issues working my compressor. I can't seem to get the fine painting details to work, just blast away. I'm having this problem where the compressor just wants to go full blast and if I play with the dial it'll go all the way to zero and produce no pressure. But if I get the pressure to rise it'll quickly drop to about 0-10psi which pretty much is no pressure to push the paint out.
  8. I'm a bit surprised over the supposed september release date of the Banshee....I didn't expect it to be out until December again.
  9. Always been that way in Japan namely bandai. This is also partially why bandai USA doesn't exist. Japan branch tried to force USA to charge as high as them and they said no. Eventually bandai USA shut down and now bandai Japan says if you want your gundam you buy it at the higher price.
  10. seriously? am I the only one who remembers those old coke commercials?
  11. got my fix......just to hear that smooth vader voice. Ahhhhh, like coke.
  12. always fun to see these come to life, just a damn shame none of the webseries or movie ever got subtitled by anyone or anything.
  13. Just my opinion when punting some of those areas, let them cure, maybe even gloss coat those areas of possible. I would get to much contact parts rubbing on parts and paint would scrape off until I clear coated. Which in tight small spots spray it on a q tip and rub in the area you want. When I did my MG3.0 I did that as it would certainly be making contact.
  14. Agreed, older kits require love and work, newer say after 2010 don't need to much work just lil paint details here and there to amp it up. I started my hguc rx 78-2 and it needed a lot of love. But looks good now!
  15. hmmmmmmmm......seeing how FFVII was the first RPG I ever played and I don't have the original discs anymore, I'll probably end up getting it for my PS4. I remember seeing some video a year or two ago when Square and Sony announced it as a teaser for FFVII but it was the original graphics and people at first clapped then there was silence. So, cool, I'm glad!
  16. VERY misleading, almost like "Who was in charge of this trailer project? They need to be fired." kind of misleading. I talked to a couple of co workers who are dead set against the film and think it's god awful from two things, "raptor trained" and "communicating". I shook my head and told them it wasn't the case at all. The only thing that'll piss them off watching it are the two kids who served very little purpose other than to connect to the younger audience, and all the blasted product placement. Verizon, Samsung, Ben & Jerry's, Zales or whatever. I mean a big ass sign saying "SAMSUNG's Hammond Research Center" Spared no expense.
  17. FINALLY! FINISHED! HAH! Okay what's next?
  18. Those passing for rental I fee bad for you. This was worth seeing in theaters and the trailers were very misdirecting. I really liked BD Wongs return. He was a delightful though brief character in the first film and now we get to explore his role in this and it's very different. Plus this film left room for what could be an interesting sequel AND touched on the genetic gaping and how that affects the "assets". Not to mention the final confrontation made me drop my jaw going "I didn't see that coming!"
  19. Except they're neither Bandai or typical brand, these are fan made decals.....which makes me think he did it on decal paper after some editing digitally then sprayed with a clear gloss. I got these from some guy in China thru ebay. For instance if you look at the shoulders, it's 4 pieces of decals, but on normal bandai stickers, that'd be at least 2, bottom half, then the top corner. Nope, every piece is a decal. Luckily once the big stuff is done it'll be a ton easier to apply on those smaller ones. It's just consistency and alignment is insanely difficult. Also i'm swearing off Krylon spray for good. The clear satin did something to the paint I worked hard on to the base, it dissolved and deteriorated the paint in certain areas. I'll have to either soak the parts in thinner to remove it which will take forever, or primer lightly and apply again.
  20. Since those aren't available in any hobbystore within a hundred mile radius I use Micro Sol and or Micro Set, they do a fairly decent job. In this case what I really am gonna need to do is trim those decals excessively before soaking. They're not very well cut at all and it's annoying. I've kind of shifted gears now and going to gear up on my Sazabi tomorrow morning after my Zeta unit 3 photoshoot is done. The base is colored and clear coated. I made a quick Amuro Unicorn logo out of red scrap from work in 4 different sizes. One of those is bound to work. So could be an interesting morning.
  21. It would be a lot better if bandai kept to under gating to at least minimize the potential of nub marks. Some kits even high grades have gotten some under gating on certain trees but not all and it's a bummer. I can't completely get rid of them but I try my best to make it better. This weekend I start on my 2nd hguc sazabi as a full paint job. I should be able to complete all the priming today. BUT same time I'm also working on a customized stand for my zeta unit 3. Priorities right?!
  22. I began phase three tonight. I'm not a big fan of these after market decals as they don't seem to stick to the frame very well even though it's been clear flat coated so that should add some bonding strength to it compared to smooth plastic. Not too mention while the decals looked combined together like any other decal I've used, these were individually contoured cut and I HATE it. But I shall continue.
