    Actually I think the f91 animation is higher quality than CCA. Story was lacking along with pacing and development. But this is a guilty pleasure movie I like to watch

    I've been very busy which is why I haven't posted any kind of builds lately. So my turn around time has been crap. I've become the VP of the Oregon builders group thus a lot of my time has been towards organizing. However next month we're sponsoring a build competition with the Oregon historical model society and now officially have the giant robot category. And of course I'll be competing and working hard on my MG GM Kai in RG like color scheme with a few alterations. as you can see there's a lot of taping going on lol!

    Turning into the worlds most colorful lump of dusty plastic? I can dig it. Hm never decided what i would do. At one point I wanted it to be turned into a museum for my existence as a geek. Still could happen.

    still feels a little cheesy, but better than some of the movies I've known of like.....Spice World.......yeah I'm scraping the barrel pretty deep. I hit the bottom.

    Don't know if I EVER said anything about it, but last month I bought a resin kit. My experience with resin is pretty bad to say the least. Almost non existent really. So instead of doing like a top to bottom full resin kit I'm doing a conversion and I found this REALLY awesome looking MG Blue Destiny conversion kit using the RGM-78(G) type. Couldn't pass that up for the price either. So far I've done just a little bit of clean up like nipping away at stuff and doing a minor test fit. But I'm only working on this model when I'm feeling daring or want to try something. It'll pretty much pool together every technique and style I've tried in the last year and a half to see how good I've gotten. I'm having a friend from my modeling group help me out as he's been wanting to get into the field too and he's much more patient than I am on certain areas like sanding and gluing. It's interesting, I just wish the instructions were a little more detailed. But if this works out well then I'd say I'll continue trying out more conversion kits until I feel more confident in doing a full resin build.

    that was pretty fascinating to watch! This is why I loved working on movies in the past. it's that whole "This is what we need to do and how we're gonna do it" aspect.

    so thought to myself I've taken a few days off of Gunpla after a 3 day weekend of hammering some kits last week so I grabbed one I've had sitting around since February and that's my 7th Gundam. Low and behold........no instructions. None. I'll have to get it online which I don't like doing at all.

    Although technically not CW, it is Arrow Related. Stephen Amell is finally making an appearance on WWE Raw after 3 months of being hickled by Star Dust since the end of May. Will Amell accept the challenge and face off with Star Dust? Or will he finally say "Dude, STFU and go to bed you dreamer."

    We were looking at this at work last week, and we all agreed that we don't get what this film is about. Is this like some kind of a coming of age story? I heard and judging from the looks of the trailer is about right that all the backgrounds are actual shooting locations with minor touch ups which makes sense cause the animation models don't fit AT ALL.

    I've seen like the LED set sold separately after researching but they're long gone and out of production. Just curious if a 3rd party group replicated them or if there was a tutorial out there on how to make your own. But alas it looks like it's a lost cause!

    Okay! So I finally got to cave in and I bought my first MG version Ingram unit 1. I've done just a few things to the build so far like assembled the right arm and painted the Noa figurine. I really want to amp this sucker up some more and wanted to ask if there were any after market accessories similar to the patlamp you can really only find on the Unit 2 editions. For me it just wouldn't feel right without adding the kind of a gimmick to this model.

    wow, improper transformation, and a nasty looking Shogo Yahagi. So far, I am unimpressed.

    Full on dirty, gritty pre-shade custom GM Command type. Was a big success in the build group meet up tonight.
