    I was just casually browsing motorcycle helmets with a co worker yesterday and saw the huge price job on the helmet. Couldn't say no at 129 for an XL and snagged it on eBay. Real excited to add this to my helmet collection of cool stuff!

    I adopted the strangest cat today....very affectionate but I'm not thrilled about it's face hugs. But in all seriousness, this thing came in a massive 4 foot tall box that russian egged downward in a few other boxes before I could get to it. I would of liked it more if it were more bone rigged. If those digits could bend or "pop" into various positions this thing would be ace. So I don't understand why Neca didn't do that.

    So quickly.....I mean it feels like last month was when season 1 came out but it's been longer than that just barely and here we are with so far a darker season 2. I giggled a bit. NEVER have I actually giggled on something Voltron.

    Well for starters the knight reaper that showed up in the final episode isn't even on the sticker sheet for hayate so that's a no go. But all the markings can be altered between planes without hassle as you'll have a separate set of stickers for color balance on the planes body. I completely goofed that on arads vf-31s and never noticed it. It's one of those things where it should be labeled on the instructions during assembly not hidden away on the back when you're all done. IMO the only stickers that should be left on the back pages are the markings, not the paint striping stickers.

    Thought I saw somewhere that since Messer's death and the series dragging had caused a shift in downward ratings.

    This sucked. This whole series was as big of a disappointment as I felt when they teased us with the first episode back in December and I totally called it. They just rinsed and repeated so many elements I've hated since Macross Zero. I may never trust Kawamori with his work ever again.

    all I can say is that the jars are normally Acrylic based paint and no thinning required for airbrushing which gives you amazing control on just how much paint you really want to put on your plastic. While spray can is laquer based and you have zero control of how much paint you want to apply on your plastic, it's just gonna come out in 1 hard spray which can cause some issues. And pricing....it's a better investment for the jars and an airbrush with paint that'll last much longer than the cans.

    this movie could be like dredd 2012. Hardly no buzz behind it or promotions, but when you go see it you go "WOW! this was actually pretty good." I mean think about it this way. The first movie wasn't awful, but it wasn't great, and turbo was just trash. So it's not like this one could fall further down from that.

    Hey so I had a question, I have the old Yamato version from....2013? Anyways, unlike the other manuals, this one didn't include ANY of the marking details of where the stickers need to be applied and that kind of bums me out that this thing has virtually no stickers. Did anyone ever figure that problem out or did Arcadia's instructions pretty much just give the same treatment?

    I've been building my VF-31S, do kind of agree something about this version of the kit does require some glue whereas Hayate's did fine. But the biggest stink I'm having with this that wasn't a problem before are the stickers. I might have a defective sheet as they don't seem to stay on as well as Hayate's stickers did. Infact the worst offender I have in this area are the ones that have to go on the shoulders. They don't fit in the slightest and they have little to no adhesive to cling to the plastic. Best thing I could do was spread a very light amount of glue on them and hold them in place for a couple of minutes. I think with that I have no desire to transform this kit at all and hope to god Mirage, Messer and Chuck's VF-31's do better.
