Got some pictures!

I'd say dip into the Mastergrades for a while, that's what I did before I bought my first perfect Grade. It gives you a nice perspective of just how much work you gotta put in to build it. Plus MG's have alot of nice detail and your buliding in most cases from inside out...but with a PG your litterally building inside out.

Today during my lunch break in 2 hours, I'm going to be doing the Grand Slam, Shield and Beam Rifle. I think I might hold off on the Decals till I get home since I forgot my decal sheet.

Shouldn't be much of a surprise, alot of California wanna be hollywood production groups like Harmony Gold think the UN are the true good guys when in many ways the UN just cowars in fear of the true super power........AGENT ONE!!!!! Eating Souls and polishing Door Knobs since the fall of Babylon. While I sit here, watching that PSA over and over again trying to let it soak in, I drink my orange Carrot flavored Sobe but somehow cringe, and its not the Sobe....well maybe a little bit. The 3D animation has to much ameature-ish look to it. I mean dayam this is Dr.Movie we're talking about, Yukikaze...it looks like their work, but its too simplistic.

Yeah I didn't wanna mention this but I let the cat outta the bag......I created SEED....not only that, but I'm really the evil mastermind which you all hate in Bandai for not releasing anymore UC stuff.......Pl-l34R DAH 3V1L! I tried out that lil crouching pose just now, sort neat having a Gundam which can actually do it.

Hm says its for the PSP too, wonder how that works. David's voice in my opinion doesn't fit the role of Scott, hell I never thought the original VA for the character in Robotech worked any better. But Ariel flying.....very odd....and......why would the UN exist in Robotech?! They should be blown away dammit! Viva the Anti-UN!!!!......oops......*whistles* But...can we possibly get over the fact the characters look different? Your talking about animation quality of the 80's to the present...course things are going to look different.

I did find the battery, within 10 seconds at Radio Shack, cost me 3.20 for it. I was only able to take 1 picture and my batteries on my camera "died" so its being a bit evil.....but here.

Wow that's nuts, neat that they'll be done with the animation in July and start on the nitty gritty stuff. Honestly I wanna see this come out good or bad, atleast its something different.

You know the selling point is the long waited battle between Anakin and Obi-wan. All out honestly I feel this is probably where we really get to see Anakin's powers shining on till he gets overly cocky and looses. This will probably be the only chance we see him at his strongest, his prime, cause after he's turned into a machine, I feel like his powers got cut down since he was nearly a full machine....which is sad A guy who loved to build machines and robots becomes one himself.

I met half my goal this afternoon. I completed the chest plating and finished the right shoulder. Shoulder armor doesn't stick to place very nicely in my opinion...but its probably not suppose. Also the armor plating that shifts down, located on top of the chest near the canopy hatch, it uses two small hooks to connect to the mechanical frame pieces...well I snapped 1 hook off which hasn't hurt it at all, but I stressed the other side a bit to much to where I'm a bit afraid of trying to fix it. But if I did I'd have too take it apart along with the right side of the chest plating to fix it. All in all, color looks great, its a lil bright but it works rather well with its anime counterparts colorization. Pictures when I get home and complete an arm. Afterwork, I'll stop by the nearest radio shack and see if they got the battery, if they do, score, I'll complete the kit tonight, decals might be tomorrow at work.

I tend to recall this lil flash animation I saw last month where Athrun comforts a depressed Kira who feels like he's had a reall bad life. So Athrun tells him its nothing compared to his own. He then goes off a list of things 1) Better clothes, comparison of Kira's Destiny outfit versus Athrun's girlscout like outfit from the first episode flashback. 2) Regrets stealing a Pink mobile suit.....should have stolen Duel. 3) Kira gets all the girls. 4) .....introduced to Justice "WTF?! ITS PINK!" 5) Introduced to Saviour....."..........................ITS FREAKING PINK! WHY WHY WHY?!" At the end, Kira is comforting a VERY depressed Athrun.

*looks at his empty bottle of beer* ......this wasn't the problem I swear it!!! Today at work I plan on completing 1 arm and the torso plating. With any luck I'll accomplish this task leaving only the 2nd arm and the head unit and the body will be complete.

Yeah I fixed that too...I took those pictures right when I pulled it apart going "Oops!" after the pictures... But yeah even after my correction after my post I realized I still had something slightly wrong and fixed it yet again from scratch, now its fine. I basically tonight finished both legs and waist and torso without armor. However everything else has its armor plating now. Panel lining is fantastic, some of my best yet since I'm sorta being "selective" Note on this picture, I took the 1/60 Sword Strike and my PG Strike and stood them toe to toe. The PG Strike I believe will be maybe 1 inch or lil more in height compared to Bandai's 1/60 RD Strike. If I'm lucky I'll complete an Arm at work, gotta remember to bring the hands with me, this is the third night I forgot them in the gradge. And when I get home maybe complete the whole body. The Shield, Armor Schnieders, and Beam rifle can wait. Also I'm tring to look for that blasted CR1220 battery for the LED....I looked in Walmart and Fredmyers and haven't turned out anything close. You'd think because your spending so much money on these PG Kits Bandai wouldn't be stingy and just give us one lil battery.

Here this was the one, which I think was mentioned as being wrong.

I took a look and I just moved ONE piece by flipping it over and WHAM! It fit into place. That bottom "cube" as I call it was backwards...man I couldn't have noticed that either hadn't I listened a bit here. Everything looks fine now, I'm gonna try to complete the leg tonight and maybe even get the waist built up. But thanks guys problem is solved!

Another shot. Big update there, but any theories or ideas what could be wrong and how to correct this?

Here's a top view. Also note the rear leg verniers wont go into place correctly cause of this gap. It's gotta be happening to that left side.

Right around the top area of these pieces is where the problem exists in my opinion.

Okya now that other damn leg. Now if you've built the strike you should sorta get what I'm saying. The problem lies with the lower portion of the leg where it would connect with the bottom end of the upper portion. For some reason the two halves will connect fine at first then when your snapping the top end of the part it just stays like it is, it wont snap into place.

Angled shot. Honestly I think the design team for the PG Strike should have given their notes to the animators. The armor is just amazingly well thought out, I couldn't have thought of anything better. And the articulation is fantastic. I maybe talking out of terms since this is my first PG Kit. But comparing it to my 1/60 Real Details and my MG's, this is by far the best variation of Strike and I smack those who condem this variation.
