I'll have to watch it after I get my copy back from my friend. I never noticed that at all, but the saber switch had a presence in the film in my opinion....it was just hard to notice something like that happened since it cuts in with Anakin choking Obiwan and forcing his saber down on him. And as for cell phone numbers....i've had mine for a year and I still can't remember it.......

Yes they could have made better choices in option parts for the Build your own then what we're given. Worst toy I ever bought in my entire life. Each crystal having a specific function my ass, you can get the exact same SFX's just different pitches and speeds without the crystals inserted....its just a big loud of crap. The blades are pathetic, Red is the only option, the clear blade was always a horrible idea in my opinion, the colors are hardly noticable and they'll never come out perfect cause its not LED bulbs like Anakin's, its just a regular flash light bulb and its yellow...... Worse off, no matter what parts you use, your saber is going to look to damn similar to someone elses from the movie, I made one and it looks like .......obiwans.....? You gotta have more hilt options and middle parts, you can't have 2 of everything....its just crap....I'd just about challenge this "1,000 different designs!" so I can sue them for false advertisment and get my money back. As for other news! Did I mention I love my Anakin FX saber?

I've been trying on and off for the last year and a half to dub the movie in an english version so much better then clash of the bionoids. Sadly, mixing everything for a 2 hour movie is a pain in the ass so I keep giving up.....I mean its alot of mixing and finding the perfect voices.

I remember some years ago, the first english adaption of 0079 was the movie editions, Bright was British. And I think the guy who played Spike was Char Aznable....Steven Blum was one of his names wasn't it? I thought he did a better Char.

Sort of gave up on looking for my coil for the Zaku's head, but still he came out looking great, if I had the coil finished he'd be perfect. But I bought a Zaku Phantom HG 1/100 in the middle of the week, I hate the glossy red paint I used....I should have gone with a dull.

I'll have to try that new info out and make this work...but I still need to find the coil that vanished for the head unit...I just gotta get those coils done, touch up the paint, and decal and it'll be one cool looking finish. Also that Acguy is lookin sweet, I really think Bandai outdid themselves. While I'm not an Acguy fan, I'd collect it. Hell if I can get a Bandai model number off it, I can order it from another hobby shop.

I was very tempted tonight to buy a Build your own toy version....so tempted.

Okay all I have left is the skirt armor and th epower coils on the legs and head. Now before I do the power coils I want ppl to try and look at this picture. There are 4 different t ype of screws that this thing uses. the Fat silver to the top left, a shorter and smaller silver to the bottom left, a long black one to the top right, and a thinner shorter black one to the bottom right. Which screws do I use for the head coils and which ones do I use for the leg coils? With that, I can finish the Zaku and begin the touch up process of the paint from areas that were snipped by the hobby knife to give a clean complextion.

I had another situation lastnight, I was putting the armor together, starting with the head...just as I was putting the coils together I had to put a screw on one end...god I hate the fact I can't figure out which screw is suppose to be which, and I put in the wrong one, now I can't get it out and the first piece of the coil wont go into place cause the screws to thick. So I thought I'd take it to work where we got some good wire cutters and cut the end off since the spring is flexible enough it'll handle just fine with a 1/5th of an inch bit off. Well now I lost the spring dammit...I'll find it I swear it!

Okay, I finished the frame pretty much, but I lost the light bulb...so I'm not gonna be able to light it up bummer......really.

I tried again, downloaded another torrent, the oneI got, nice screen resolution, but no subs what so ever......ugh.

Based off what I know, it'll probably somehow teach Sousuke to use his AS more properly, I can't believe its just an ordinary custom M9...but it looks real similar to a Patlabor design...

lol glad I missed that one! I'm actually regreting not like buying 2 or 3 more of these so I could build a squadron. I finished everything but the head for the frame work. I even started messing around and making it walk, man was that fun! No new pictures of it though since its just the left arm that I completed since the last time I posted...uuuuuuhhhhhhh tomorrow, I think I'll finish the head, and tuesday I'll finish the model indiffenetly.

me too I can't WAIT to see how this baby turns out, I've been doing a pretty good job on the build up this far. Personally, I really wanna shoot for a complete frame build up tonight since I have late shift monday-friday at work.

I'm close on finishing, but I'll have to pick up more Brilliant Blue after work, I ran out on the last tree, and I made a big mistake on 2 others, so I gotta repaint them (accidentally touched up with the wrong blue : / ) I'd say, thus far the most difficult ordeal with this kit, are the screws. You don't know which ones to use, and if your not careful you'll strip the heads right off them so your stuck with it. Luckly I'm doing judgement calls on areas to see if they'd need screws or not. So far, I'd say the putting together the power coils over the chest were the most challenging cause it doesn't look like their big enough to wrap around the chest, but they're just springs so it all works out just fine. After work as well, after picking up a new can of Brilliant Blue, I'll also go to radio shack, hmmm maybe after lunch instead, and I'll pick up some batteries. PG's need lit up eyes, even if its difficult to do.

If I can't read it, or understand the language, thumbs down on the WHOLE movie.

Working on the armor color now.....I'm starting to have second thoughts on the color choice but I think I'll be fine. Wanted to use a light blue instead and a regular blue for the darker areas...but I don't have enough light blue to finish the job I think. The darker colored armor is about finished...I'm spraying an undercoating to the areas not so exposed so I can get the areas that are hard to cover in the space I'm working at. Also, anyone know what batteries these take? Is it the exact same on all of the PG kits? If so....than what was that again? lol I can't find my PG Strike manual...

Dammit the Initial D movie I got is subbed in Spanish or something! And I don't know SQUAT of what's going on twice over being the movie is from Hong Kong.....if it were done in Japanese actors I MIGHT have understood it more.

I finished the main coat of paint to the frame work. I used Gunmetal, Light Gunmetal and Aluminum on certain areas. It's got a nice mechanical look to it right now. And before I hit the mattress, I'm gonna do some added detail like coils around the frame, and some off set coloring to make it more mechanical looking. I'm afraid of the paint of the armor though, I don't think i'll have enough light colors to give a primer look and I didn't have much to work with for a different shade of Blue...I'm using Brilliant Blue and a Ordinary Blue...that's as close as I could come without going ".......Lame"
