Shin's personality in the very beginning seems very flat, so I wanted to just highten that a bit, I don't think i did a very bad job myself, the original VA last year I had picked out was very good, but like I've been saying, finding guys to VA is a very difficult thing, they just don't like to audition, they tend to wanna be scouted....but you can't scout them if you haven't heard them before right? Edgar's VA is a good friend of mine, he worked for US Manga CORP before they laid him off due to bankruptcy 2 months ago....he's still very bummed about that too. He's very good at what he does for me, he has no problem on giving out what ever I ask, be it a minor role to a major warrior type character like Tekkaman Blade. But yeah, the dub isn't completely finished....my Mao VA is currently recovering but should be back to normal any day and sending out her lines. As for the "radio" or "helmet" vocals, those are tough....I gotta give 'em out to other people for the Radio comlink stuff....for the Helmets I improvise by playing the audio clip over my speakers full volume infront of my mic, then I record it. If I got it just right it sounds like talking thru a helmet, but the audio level is so quiet for some reason that I gotta turn up the volume during mixing and sometimes you hear a "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.............." faint sound like that. But if there's music or background going on, you don't notice it at all.

What ever happened to the days when you could go see a movie, and not hear about people battying on things that just don't make sense....I mean....it's a movie...a popcorn flick, a time to kill, a make out session....god I miss those old days, damn you internet and you're ability to let people rant, damn you....

For the moment it'll only be on Youtube....but I am working on a VCD/DVD version I'm just not getting a whole lot of time right now to run some more tests. I'm having trouble making the DVD, no matter what I'm doing, what setting I mess with, the DVD becomes curropted after burning. I'm pretty sure I can make a Super VCD which will keep a good amount of quality to the film, and can easily cover the Fandub version and a Fansubbed version I did. Next week I'm planning on buying some DVD covers that I FINALLY found at work.......they're just hiding in the very back of the store.....which in my opinion is pretty funny.....CD labels in one end of the store, DVD inserts at another end.

Great news, I was talkin to my Mao VA, she's much much better and is gonna start recording her lines again to finish her scenes in a few days.

Likewise, it just doesn't mean much of squat when ya got a shadow of a "giant robot" kickin a rover.

I managed to see a First Look at it, Spacey seemed pretty happy with his performance and was even making a crack "Yeah Lex has got his world domination plans set, and then superman catches on to him pretty quickly......................dammit" I'll see it tomorrow maybe, it was on my list to do today, but my gal and I had to spend some quality time and she can't go to the movies with me so I have to go alone.

I didn't realize till I saw some concept CG on Season 2 where I went "WOW! Hey that Rhinox looks like my BW toy" and sure enough it was....same with cheetor. But Turantulus doesn't have that same head does he? Or does he have the same thing where he can switch from a "mutant" head to a robotic version? I think all I got left to collect is Turantulus and DinoBot and I'll have all the Reissued BW toys....I think I might pass on Primal and Megs reissues cause they look like complete crap.

I dunno......is it just me........or is there something about that picture which just doesn't seem right? Seeing him and the human's around just doesn't wanna focus well with my eyes, like it's a photoshopped picture or something. Anyways, I was at Fredmyers where they had another lil sale and I managed to pick up Rhinox, Cheetor and Waspinator (that's all they had) so I thought meh why not. Sadly Im' not impressed with ANY of these beastwars toys, they just don't make me go "ooooooooooooohhhhhh" compared to some of the newer stuff. Also, why in the hell does Waspinator have 2 heads?

From what my friend Maria told me (cause she fandubs Aquarion) that it's going to be an all new series starting in October.

So yeah in other news, found out a guy I sort of VA with at TFCog.net named Daniel Ross has been trying for several weeks to land just an audition with DreamWorks to do some voice overs for Transformers. However the CastingDirector said hell no to his agent over and over again and even hanging up several times. Well Daniel came to us at TFCog and asked if we could shout out to the people working on the casting to atleast give him a shot. Then he just heard recently that they finally agreed. If none of you guys have heard of Daniel Ross, he's actually a very good Ameature Voice Actor who can pull off an AMAZING G1 Starscream ever so similar to Chris Latta.

It also shows how he's gonna loose so much creditability now that he's blown his wad over something so trivial. I was being being told over and over that my movies sucked, I'd expect people to tell me what was wrong with 'em so I can fix that problem in later films....... Crap I almost rented Blood Rayne, wasn't that directed by him? I don't even remember seeing it in theaters, but here it is on DVD....glad I passed it up.

there is a tiny peg on the bar which is connected to the shoulder area....it snaps if you apply just a tiny bit of pressure while you could be rotating the shoulder around for robot mode or back to bike mode.

Well since it was in a parking grage with not alot of light it's hard to tell if it was brown, yellow or a rustic orange. As for the replacement bar, i was excited at first but now I'm having my second thoughts....was just mentioning it to someone and they think it might be offered to those Japanese stores.....since they don't ship their replacement parts over seas.

Right, if I end up distributing this I make ZERO profit off it, infact I'm more taking a hit off it with the shipping then I would for the materials since I buy this stuff at work where I get a discount at...not much, pennys, but it's still something. And I even take that discount into account on the pricing. The most I think some people would pay would be like 5 bucks with shipping and DVD. I'm wondering also if Screen Saver running would have any affect on the encoding process either......or maybe drive speed? The DVD's are meant for 16X, and I've even gone ahead and lowered the speed for better quality....meh I'll try it again tonight without even a screen saver running. The DVD menu for the movie is also very cool, I took a small amount of the scene between Roy and a SV-51 going all the way to him shooting down the missiles, course it's edited down to about 24 seconds, from a minute and a half clip. So the menu has become completely animated. I'm also wondering why chapters don't seem to pop up when selected on the menu screen......it might be the same issue, stuff going on in the background. Well just more experimentation before I finish the movie yep yep! I'm about 98% complete.

Lastnight I guess in my sleep I knocked my garland off my desk. Course the right arm went FLYING off, found it 4 feet away by my TV center, but the left arm was still in perfect shape and the Garland in general was just fine.

That's my initial goal is to do all 5 episodes. The projects been in the plans since I think right after Episode 1 or 2....the biggest problems are hitting area's where the BGM isn't existing in the 2 OST's, or there's an Sara singing, but it's a unique variation and I can't somehow drown out some of the japanese vocals or there's a special sound being used and the japanese vocals are going off, shin's talking or what ever, or grunting, so it sort of makes things difficult to use. I've hit those snags in Episode 1 as well in many moments, but the English dialouge was able too drown that out so you really don't take notice to it unless you listen in very carefully.

Thanks, sadly my VA for Mao caught a cold while she was in Alberta last week.....so I gotta wait another week or two before she gets better enough to do her lines....I'm now 2 weeks behind schedule and now gonna look at a July release. Episode 2 wont be released till August or September.
