Again, I wanna thank people for their support and encouragement. You usually don't see such a thing anymore. I'm nearly done with act 2's sound mix. max and miriays battle is two steps from completion, and the final battle looks and sounds amazing with everything in place. I wish I could show you all but that would give away everything i'm working so hard for. I've been fooling around with dvd contents....the plan is to use one of the HD remasters covers, that way it keeps the maxross feel with authentic art. ideas Im tooling with and wll need assistance in: english subtitles on music black barred over japanese text english subs on zentreadi dyrl music video in english (cristina might sing!) ps/saturn openings blooper reel cast interviews cmmentary with director/vas 3d dvd menu of a HUD with dyrl clips and button access. selection animtion of a VF1S transforming and shooting off to badolzas fortress or the macross. so, wha do you guys think? itll push the release back more, but itll be a perfect possible two disc limited edition.

Alright, I got Hikaru's VF-1A and VF-1J preordered....I think I'll hold on to the J's fast packs and buy another A in the near future and get someone to customize it to my personal color preference.

ya my guess the knees don't swivle which is a bummer if thats true. then again, photographers never take accurate photos of toys...nor are they ever transformed right. Im now debating if I actually want one now...price is fine, but if its actually glue on, Ill pass...I never had success in glue on kits.

Cristina just handed over her bit for the concert at the start of the movie, and it sounds cute. She's gonna try and supposively finish all the lines within a week, I'm really looking forward to her performance. And trying to get her to sing DYRL in English for the DVD limited release extras.

Thanks I appreciate it. I kicked a little more butt on the second act. This is going to be so freaking difficult....the space battle was the worse of my nightmares on getting this done. But with that actually now becoming accomplished and the first piece I'm tackling....I feel a bit more confident that this movie will be a succcess. However, I really need to sit down and listen to all my music tracks so I can find the right stuff. I didn't think I'd be missing music, but yep, I am.

Holy poo on a stick! I haven't said anything in nearly a month?! I'm sorry guys! Here's the thing, I've hit alot of snags for Act II, music can't be found that matches the movie, and VA's are having a hard time staying balanced with work, school coming up and private lives. Not too mention my minmay is having a little regression period where she thinks she's doing a horrible job at things and is slammed with real roles consuming her time. I just got a bunch of hard core 80's like space battle soundeffects that I'll be using for the final battle...and so far they're working out well. It'll be pretty hard to mix these last 40 minutes, but it'll be worth it.

You know, it's just something about the VF-1J I don't like with Fastpacks, now the GBPS okay, THAT I would pay 150 for. I think this one I'd just buy the figure and not the armor. I gotta really push for sales for the next few months I guess XD

Yeah wtf was up with that? the shovel.....digging trenches, it's WWI all over again. I thought, better then the second film, it made up for that tragic piece of crap. But still no where near as cool as the first in terms of gore and effects.

gotta say, 5 minutes into the film and I'm already bored of it. Effects are just so bad. Ill always like the first film, second bored me to death, this one might make me hang myelf.

Well scratch it, I was gonna order Hikaru's VF-1A but my bank decided to hit me with 400 dollars of OD fees and for some reason HLJ was lazy on clearing into my account and it almost looks like a double charge but it's not. Then I got a 5 dollar fee for something else from them dating back to the 8th but cleared the 31st. So I'm f'ed until September.

Which is fine, as long as I get it. Having an all in one pack is convient but the price is decent enough to me that I don't mind as long as they do have them.

Damn, they are just pumping this stuff out like rabbits in heat. I dunno if my wallet can take it cause right now I'm in love with the new 1/60 line.

The DYRL stuff I remember, outside Polidread, there was another member here who claimed to be apart of that group, I think was Minmay (in the final picture).

I'm confused myself. Some sites show a late august eta, others show end of september. I keep checking hlj but they got nothing...i debate this mostly cause it was 50 dollars to ship my VF-1S and I was real pissed about that. I pretty much wanna get either this or that wave 1/5000 macross as a birthday present for myself.

K, then might I suggest to quit spamming the thread at the very least? You have a valid arguement, 17 days and you haven't seen squat. Maybe he has yet to put it together or what ever. His posting on his sale was very vague on anything. I suggest you put it on claims and get your money back from Paypal and Ebay and leave your neg comment on his sales feedback. He hasn't even logged onto the boards since his last post.

I'm deciding the same thing, I don't think HLJ has the preorder up yet which is a shock but then again it isn't out for 2 more months.
