Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models
Hikuro replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
K, that does look rather nice, but waterslides.......I suck at those so much, usually I like putting on my decals or stickers while I'm assembling a section based on the modeling guide, but I can't do that with waterslides I think. Ugh.......decisions.....maybe I outta just cop out too the DX. -
Saw two ranka's today at Kumoricon in oregon...however was only able to get 1 for a photo....the other I saw at the mall close to the convention and couldn't whip out my camera fast enough since I was on an escalator being dragged by cute lesbians.

LIVE ACTION ROBOTECH (WB gets the rights)
Hikuro replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
They could also go entirely the other direction to save on the budget....if technology for animation improves they could go for the older style cause it'd be cheaper and faster to make. -
English Lyrics are NOT easy to create from a japanese song that seems to have some sort of a theme, though japanese lyrics are infamous for not making much sense at all. I think my friend mippa spent a few weeks trying to stick with the theme too Don't Be Late but the words were still somewhat different....it worked though. Hell a few years back I pulled off Zero G Love in English and half of Do You Remember Love in english as well....sadly I don't have that one anymore, but sitll got Zero G.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models

K, that does look better. But this thing will need a lot of paint to get it to look right. -
Hopefully gonna get some lines from my Kakizaki and Badolza over the weekend, maybe hopefully a few others......I got ANOTHER mic, so we'll see how things go.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models

: / Frak, if it looks like that, I'm gonna pass on any of the Bandai Frontier lines.....that's just dissapointing. -
Storyboard Animatics was kind of cool, good to see they had the intention on the storyboard of doing the Terminator POV as the tranditional version and yet we got the budget crap version.

Okay the DVD season 1 box set is out, 9 episodes, 3 discs with some extras, commentary, blooper real, and deleted scenes and an extended cut version of I think it's the Demons Hand. Honestly, I wish on the deleted scene of the pilot where we see the terminator having a shoot out was placed in the dvd episode of the pilot, it was so much cooler looking.

you mean like the 1/48s? they dont.

Yamato 1/60 VF-11b under development
Hikuro replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
in macross plus we do see how the heatshield works, comes from the front and back of the canopy under slits....check out episode 1 or the halfway point of the movie. also, I vaugely remember, wasnt yamato making a 1/60 sometime ago but ended up scrapping the mold cause of lack of time or budget? so this would be really the "fourth" attempt? -
In theory, I would be doing Macross Plus movie edition, but that's theory. I've got a translated script that'll turn into the movie script after retooling, I've also got the remastered footage of the movie as well.....but once this movie is done I think I want to take a REALLY long break.

Been piecing things together all day....probably inserted about a hundred lines from various va's.......and I really hate my mic XD it gets the job done but at a cost of a little quality. no static, just.......my voice seems really loud now.

Very cool stuff in the making. It's not that I wanna use Windows movie Maker, I actually tried to do a fresh render yesterday cause it'd been faster and higher quality on Adobe Audition, but for some reason, it wont allow me too....and the file format is fine. I'll find anotherway to do it, so no worries. It's the credits that are gonna be difficult to make.

CG Star Wars movie in theatres this august
Hikuro replied to lord_breetai's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Likewise, maybe I'll redbox it cause it'll be cheaper. -
In some cases yes, I noticed that during the final battle there was some stuff that didn't show up so I added them, or because I didn't have the right sfx, I replaced it with something close. I've tried my best to make this an enjoyable popcorn flick.

Aliens Vs. Predator 2 Script and Movie Review
Hikuro replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
But better then the first one. -
Hopefully. I think that issue was my microphone which no longer exists, and I hadn't heard that sound popping up in any of the new stuff I've done using my new microphone. If it does still exist, I'll be having one of my friends who is an excellent sound engineer get rid of it, she was able too in previous movies, I'm sure she can for this.

Yep! Even finished the audio tweeking! Everything should be just the right audio level for vocals to not be drowned out! I've already sent emails to cast members telling them I need their lines asap, but already getting requests for extensions bummer. if it weren't so damn hot right now I'd do my lines for Hikaru.

I managed to take Love Moment, loop it in certain areas for it to work decently enough. Now then....*ahem*...............................FINISHED All that's left is a few tightening up of areas for acoustic levels, vocals, and retiming of the first half to fit perfect with the HD Footage, and the movie so done.

Thanks I do appreciate it again. If you got any demos you wanna toss out there to me by all means you can. I'm a bit picky when it comes to main characters being filled, a voice actor should have good quality surrounding him both in the equipment he uses and his voice and acting skills. I do have a guy who was playing Guld for a dub test I did a year ago, but he's very busy and I've got him as Roy Fokker for DYRL and Zero....he is a professional actor as well, does alot of theater work and even tries out for Real World from time to time XD. This project is nearing completion. I just got to finish max and miriyas battle WHICH by the way I did find the correct background music for it so now it'll be perfect. However, I'm trying to find the song(s) for when Hikaru and Minmay are floating on the observation/super room as he tries to convince her to sing the song that'll end the war. Once those two areas are filled, I'm done. Then I contact all the VA's letting them know the due date is next week and to hurry fast cause the movie will be done.
-
Dumb question but I actually need to know so I can finish my project, the song that was used in DYRL where Hikaru and Minmay are floating on the observation/super room as he tries to convince her to sing, what was the songs title? And in which CD track is it? I thought it was Love Moment but it seems the second half of the song changes tone so it could be a combination of two. Any ideas?

XD doubtful i'd do that. I had one guy as me to change the names to th robotech cast and I should send it too HG....tht was laughable atleast. i kicked butt again lastnight and early this morning. Dunno what the motivation has been this week but it's working. max and Miriyas dog fight is 80% mixed, the final battle is 95% mixed. and pretty much everything inbetween is finished. So since I have tomorrow and sunday off, I believe I can finish everything including touch ups on both acts this weekend. Then I can move onto other projects like Guyver Out of Control, Macross Plus and think a version 2.0 of YugiOh the old old movie.
