Bandai/Tamashi Nations 1/100 lineup. 2009 takeoff!
Hikuro replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
MMMk, well I'm sold on the 1/100 0_o that's for damn sure. -
I just cleaned out all my files and burnt them to DISC, I did not realize I had 15 or so gigs of files that were nothing but DYRL related. WOW that's insane. That's just insane, wow really, GEEZEE XD talk about going into fine line detail on some stuff.

Anyone willing to post any pictures of this "piece of crap"?

Guess I'll just continue to cross my fingers t hat Yamato will finally get a 1/60 VF-4 going someday...I mean hell we got a 1/60 VF-11......it's a long shot.

Probably, but I'm starting to miss the classicness of Resident Evil, sort of getting tired of mutated humans who are just blood lusting and aren't even zombies : / which is why I'm bummed about Resident Evil 5, but excited cause it's going to add so many cool new elements.

Totally don't know where you get this idea of stuttering honestly, cause I don't. It could be do to quality, or the way the microphone picks up my voice, but I don't stutter when I speak. Lots of people hear my voice in different productions and personal friends, never been told I stutter, even doctors have never mentioned it. Maybe slurring is more what you meant? Cause I do slur from time to time when I'm tired or not really in the mood to talk. As for the main characters, I had someone else playing Shin, but the guy bailed at the last minute. So I had to step in since at the time of the production, the male roles being filled were VERY difficult. Still are, but after DYRL was released I started to get a higher turn over. I'm pretty much now steping out of the Voice Acting end and sticking to producing, however if there's a character I played in a previous installment, I continue doing the role until it's finished. So that means you'll probably have to deal with me as Alto a little longer, but don't quote me on that. As for my range, I have a VERY large range of high to fairly low pitch or even oldman style (Better than when I did Nataku or the captain of the Asuka) I've even pranked some co workers and family members.

Nothing beats Lucas Film's typical storm trooper scream NOTHING!!! AAAAAOOOOHHHH! That's the goal, 2's on the way but slow...I need my Roy VA to kick some ass as he's only done a third of the lines. I've only scripted all but the last 4 minutes of Episode 3 and I have yet to touch the mixing side of that. Zero's kind of got a bit of a uniqueness to it, sometimes the audio I'm working with wont match the original japanese audio and I gotta redo a lot of the pieces. Episode 2 will pretty much be mixed from scratch unlike Episode 1 where atleast 40% of the episodes audio was reused cause it lacked dialouge. The future episodes will be less and less like that and pretty much being completely remixed like DYRL was. But the audio quality will still be rather high end.

Best one if you want a DVD would probably be the FX version I think. If you wanted sub, well, you could always get the remaster version with I think it's either Hurin or Gubaba's translation in sub txt form. I'd go through boingers stuff to do it.

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title
Hikuro replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Not bad of a trailer, though I'm kind of curious what's going to happen. Guess just have to wait and see 5 months from now. -
Same, there was a decent little sci/fi shop at the Clackamas Towncenter mall some years ago, I think it lasted for a year before they went out of busniess. Lots of cool stuff, lots of Macross/Robotech goodies and Starwars and StarTrek related goods....but they didn't make it for long at all and poof they were gone.

Hah, I usually go to a joint in Wilsonville by the boweling alley or Senior' Lopez in Woodburn for quick easy food. But no I haven't heard of Just Be, I don't really go to DT Portland because it's a good 45 minute drive from my place.

Was out today in the nasty weather and I went over to a hobby town, and WOW couple of boxes of those Bandai Action stands. So I thought to myself, one of them worked decently with my Skull 1, so why not get one for my Hikaru Vf-1A. Sure enough I did, found one of the larger place holders worked well with the T Bar sliding down to the edge. And yep, it's still clung into that place holder and doing really well. I can't fold the wings down all the way but why would you really want too on a Super Pack VF-1? Not a bad cheap substitute on the Yamato bases if you don't wanna spend 50 bucks.

December 21st 2012, when the world ends MUWAHAHAHA! THE LAST THING YOU SHALL SEE IS 5 SECONDS OF ARIA THEN WE RICK ROLL YOU!!!!!......................................aw damn that'd been a good prank too oh well.

Well have you watched my dub? It practically IS that quality. The first season discs of Dragonball Z showed some of the remastering and widescreen techniques they used, it's all pretty spendy too. Not something you take for granted, it's something you wanna know will sell and you can make your money back. AnimeEigo's film masters I believe were used for ADV's work, but I'm not sure if it were used in the TV remaster box set that came out roughly the same time as the DYRL remaster did. Infact I'm a bit surprised the whole franchise recieved some sort of a remaster treatment. Still though it's good stuff when it atleast looks enhanced and cleaned up.

They should know how to make a proper burrito then hate it when only one end is properly folded and the other is just like left there...guess that's the bite start end or something I dunno. I got a burned prototype DVD, checking quality and what not. movie seems to be in a excellent wide screen looking format, color looks good, no real pixelation I can see...sound looks good...whole film looks good. All that's left is the right menu which is coming from Chillyche later in the next day or so.

Tacobell, Tacotime, Taco Treat, Taco Johns are NOT authentic mexican food Anyways to stay slightly on topic, I've got some voice actors picked out for my Macross 7 episode...should hopefully be a good cast...1 person has turned in lines who is playing Ray. I got a pretty good Basara, Mippa will be Mylene, Hawkeye will be repraising his role as Max Jenius along with Timelord as Exadore.

Okay, here's the FX DVD copy I was working on. mind you this was a COPY of the FX dvd, not the authentic one that a friend of mine had originally owned and copied for me, and with it on the bottom is a screen shot of the remastered footage I used for my dub. Huge ass difference. Just look at the quality that's lost in the above shot and the darker colors that bled...you see very little of any of the hard work the animators went through to give out a great detail in the clothing or hair or anything in particular. Not too mention the "Bars" really do squish the frames to look obscured.

This guy actually owns a yogurt shop, good friend, haven't seen him for a while but he use to work as a rep for redbull and came by my place of work and handed out red bull to all the sales and service guys and gave a case between me and my boss...that stuff would be gone from the sales department in 2 hours, hand to god! I've almost thought about giving a copy to a guy I know at Cosmic Monkey Comics on I think 58th and Sandy near DT Portland...dude who owns it is a cool guy, use to go by his old store on 102nd and Halsey all the time, but now maybe once every 2 months I'll go to his sandy location and spend 20-40 bucks on Transformer comics. He use to get DVD's from me all the time on whatever Anime I was doing and said he enjoyed 'em. I also know he's sold bootleg DVD's at one point, doubt he does now as it was a pretty small selection. But there ya go
-
yeah dude I haven't even been in texas in like 20 years or so. visted El Paso maybe once or twice...grandfather would take me across the boarder for AUTHENTIC mexican food every now and then. I was gonna check with a friend who owns a small shop in DT Portland if he'd do a lil screening some night for some of the movies I do for a club he does on the side, but alas I don't wanna bug him for that.
-
Really ya didn't? I knew you were, just never bug ppl from my area, you never know what they're capable of. And seeing how vast Oregon is, someone else could live 3-4 hours away and what not.
-
No redux, DYRL has been put to bed forever more...well until an Blu-Ray or something. Nero can do the job but it's being an ass an dI have to reinstall it.
-
Yeah we're cool until the next release Cypher on the other hand was able to give me a proper voice effect for a helmet, I'll be using that for now on, makes more sense than voice mail or the other one. I just need to find a good program that's free and will do what I want, and so far I'm not seeing it.
-
I haven't seen anything new for Animated figures since I stopped collecting them back in August...I just finally got around to customizing my Voyager Prime so he's got blue windows and yellow lights...now he looks better. Next will be bumblebee...he's missing loads of black.
-
Wow they're coming out way to fast. Granted we use to have to wait MONTHS for each new variation, but nearly once a month or every other month for some new VF-1 to come out....it's just insane. I can't keep up : / I ended up having to kill my Vf-1J order and it's gonna piss me off for a long time to come.
-
I did try to do the DVD today, but alas it's not the exact encode I'm looking for, so I'm going back to the drawing bored with Cypher.
