I'm gonna put some focus on zero this month now that frontier is out of the way. Try to fill some spots on extras since I got a wider voice cast that'd love to work on these projects of mine. I also need to fix one of edgars lines it came out real bad. Hammer a few VAs on episode two who should of finished months ago.

I think Henry still said Michelle, but that could be me. I instructed them to say Michelle. In either case, youtube refuses to put the first 9 minutes up, so I gave up, I'm putting the entire episode up on Veoh and Vimeo.

Well...Mikhail is one of the names he IS called so yeah.....meh. Youtube already took down part 1 : / damn you bandai channel, they also took down another Macross clip of mine, luckily it wasn't from DYRL, I'd of been devastated.

Okay, finished rendering, watched it from start to finish and it seems okay, I have no reserves about it so I'll begin uploading it...it's a 400 meg file with a 720x480 full screen resolution (Sorry, no widescreens on this episode) I'll have links in the morning.

Oh yeah, it's gonna be REALLY late at night when this finishes...I had a few hicups I caught, and then had to fix the ending credits. So it's all rendering now and it'll take 2 hours, then I gotta upload 'em for download.

Frontier will be out tonight, both in Youtube and HJ Split format in the highest quality I can do.

Yeaaaah, it's kind of lame cause SDF Macross is the only show I can rip vocals out of thanks to Anime Eigo. So depending on the quality I want an episode in, can take me a day, or a month, or several months if it's a movie. Episode 1 even as MY version didn't take very long to mix. I think it took under a week. Episode 2 will probably take me a little longer cause there's a lot that's happening in the start of the episode and that's where my attention will mainly focus, the dog fight in the city. It's trying to match a lot of what's going on to be fairly accurate to the original sound. After that the rest is pretty much dialogue, clothes being thrown, and Ozma car, which sadly, I'm not gonna be very accurate on that one. Oh by the way, so far, no episode release. Didn't hear back from Cristina, I'll send her an email tonight to let her know the pressures on.

Pretty much what I had to do. thankfully the ranka/sheryl diamond creavess was on cd. ep1 might be tonight. cristinas got 2 lines left, and the female extra turned in this morning.

Well despite 2 missing voice overs, I watched a mock version of the episode, it's pretty good. I saw a few areas where I need to amp some voices just a bit to make it more audible, but this'll really big good! I am having issues with Episode 2 though, specifically the music score, half the soundtracks in that episode don't even exist, like a secret stash of Yoko Kanno music locked in Kawamori's vault of no public allowance. I tried my best to sub what I could, but episode 2 will not have a lot of music in it, and I'm sure that's gonna happen with a number of episodes.

Patterns help too....if you can create your own.

Not really sure, it could be just for listings...sometimes you'll just see the same costume listed 5 consecutive times when you're scrolling ebay. Here's another version of the sms uniform which to me looks like crap and we've seen here in the cosplay forum before. There's also the Mihoshi Academy uniform Here My biggest issue with cosplay is that you really don't know what you're going to get. 99% of these on ebay are from Hong Kong specifically....and if you want it done by a local group in the US it costs almost 3-5X's more money cause they'll use the best materials they can find. I remember, and I've stated it before, one group wanted hundreds and hundreds of dollars to make my DYRL uniform using the same kind of spandex material that was from Superman's outfit in the Return movie ...3 years ago? While I thought that'd be pretty damn cool, just fatties don't look good in spandex. And I stated that to them, but they still wanted to go with spandex like material though the price wouldn't change! And you can't find patterns to these, nearly any cosplay outfit is made from scratch and it's difficult for parents who are conned into making these costumes to understand that.

yeah, just needs that god damn zipper. I looked around for Cargo pants, couldn't find any in my size and Walmart was having a HUGE sale on pants of all kinds for like 3 bucks. I guess I can always just look online or make 'em myself, phooey!

See, I don't get why everyone keeps going for Crispin on anything, he's not all mighty to me. And yes you can dream, just stop bringing that dream up here lol do your own production. Either case, Frontier is 90% done...I don't think there's much of anything else I can cram into it to make it anymore better. Just gotta wait for the remaining VA's.

Really? Metal Gear? Hmph, never thought about that before...never even really played the games they're not my kind of genre to play. Well, the First game for the PS1 I played and finished and that was okay, but the others I didn't have interest cause of the overly long played out cut scenes. I'm trying to get the ball rolling on the remaining cast members, recasted the role of Catherine Glass to a young girl named Yuffie who is playing a role in the Macross Aria webisode series by Che. I'm REALLY trying to get this thing out this weekend but I kind of doubt it, it'll probably be 2 more weeks.

I'll see if I can take some pictures. Like I said, the material is fine, it's tough, it just could use a zipper to be complete. The pants though I wasn't impressed with cause there are ZERO pockets, just for show, so I'll get my own pair of brown cargo pants. The thing about cosplay, is that if you don't wanna spend the big bucks, you can't expect to get something amazing. I had someone quote me almost 500 dollars for a "realistic" looking DYRL style uniform. Basically using the same materials of spandex that was from the Superman Returns film.

Its by a group called coskingdom. They got a pretty good selection of frontier outfits made to your size. I got one from them 2 months ago but they screwed it up and I had to wait until Last month to get it fixed. pretty good quality and looks nice when its done right.

K......SO back to the subject at hand which is Macross Cosplaying...I FINALLY got my new SMS Jacket with the improvements. It's got the collar strap and the right SMS patch, positioned and correct color. It's just missing a zipper which I think I'll try and put on myself if I can...then I'll just need a new pair of cargo pants and boots and I'm all set for that cosplay.
