Just a few quick pics of my Vf-25G...sorry it's rather boring looking, didn't have a lot of time to take better ones. -
Dragon Ball movie rescued from dev hell?
Hikuro replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Shonen Jump last month was making it seem like this was the biggest break for anime to live films and well no one seems to agree with it. I thought I'd watch it lastnight since I got off rather late and didn't wanna go home just yet. So I went to the local theatre by my work place and t hey weren't even showing it. That's the first time I've ever seen a movie theater NOT having a movie that's out. -
*twitch twitch* god I hate vic, he's such an overused jerkoff. He offended a lot of my friends a while back and it got him banned from the convention after he was found out. Tell ya what, never push around vengful lesbians 0_o they will strike back.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread Ver.3

Currently working on my super parts....pretty freaking time consuming that's for damn sure! took me over an hour just to get one leg completed from disassembled, build back up, and decal. And a little painting here and there but not much. Yeah god you just don't realize how much of the previous parts you have to take off and how tiring it can be when they're on there pretty tight. I've got everything for the chest done and decaled....and a part of the back piece and the right leg. Sort of a bitch really. -

Okay question super pack owners. I've pretty much got everything on, but the parts that cover the legs intake area "hips" don't stay on or seem to be connected to anything. So what keep them on? They tend to fall off the valk with the lightest of touch. -

you mean gloss? I just got my VF-25G from Vinnie during my lunch, looks pretty sweet so far. No paint mess ups that I can find right now. I was sort of surprised it came with both standard gunpod and the sniper rifle, so yeppie! I'll show it off later tonight. -

Well, maybe I'll go see it tuesday or something...I read the article and it said "Fans liked the accuracy of the characters" and I thought "What accuracy? There's practically none." And I haven't even seen trailers on tv for this movie in oregon...this could very well bomb. -
That's yamato for you, you get probably one of the best looking collectors toys you'll ever find on the market, but just don't touch the damn thing lol. I've had a small number of their stuff just disintegrate on me in an hour and piss me off. But right now I'm not having that issue and I wanna keep it that way too dammit. Just watch some Rocky or Over the top (Stallone in general helps) with some good ol 80's music blairing in the background after you're all pumped (I suggest Hearts on Fire) and then just delicately, like making love to a hot virgin, just put that part in it's proper place and OWN IT!..........................oh *HIC* there we go, *takes off roy wig and steps down*

Well it took sometime to piece together I think 3 tracks to get that to work out. I think it's pretty much the same substance that was in Episode 2 but the original was like a remix of those 3 to fit into what they wanted. That's what I really hate. Even the ending piece is the same, it's Zero Hour I think but with only the backdrop of the song and not all the other instruments in it...where as mine is everything just nicely edited into what I needed. I got a few lines from people buuuuuuut still got a lot to go and the VAA went belly up I think yesterday so I got nothing coming in for auditions. However Steve got a few girls he thinks will fit the bill.

Nice man, how much that set you back? Vinnie and I found the jump suit we need to make the 2040 uniforms. Expensive stuff and you still need the vest.

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title
Hikuro replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh by the way, when are the Terminator toys coming out? -
mine had the same thing, left handle bar was sittin in the box it happens, piss poor handling on Yamato's part mostly. But it's not something to freak out about. To switch it out, I think you might have to replace the console but never knew how, it's not something to be going "OMIGOD! BROKE HANDLE BAR! I WANT A REPLACEMENT!" Just kind of man up, super glue it and you'll never worry about it again. You can't even tell once it's done. As long as it's not the whole console broken up, you'll be fine.

the whole segment was the alternate tracks.
-
Hm I may try these guys, certainly cheaper than most sites that exploit what the fans desire.

AHA! I think I found that site I keep talking about , TERMINATOR HISTORY FILES

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title

I've been reading the IDW Comic mini series...aaaaand yeah, I dunno what to exactly say other than the fact this mini series is rather boring. The art is dodgy in my opinion....and I'm not big on the color apps and the story is just slow. But I guess it's just leading into what Salvation is suppose to start out too. However, I think I'll stick to reading the Dynamite comics of Infinity. -
A little hard to point out though unless you've watched the uncut version...and you really don't see anything until they get to the steel mill which the heat could of been the real cause of the T-1000's performance. Scenes where his hand mimicked the color and texture from grabbing a saftey guard rail, or when walking down the metal walkways his legs were taking the shape and texture of the grated walk ways, and being melted into the floor when he was imitating Sarah Connor (Interesting to note, that wasn't CG'ed, that was really Linda's twin sister...I never knew that until sometime ago)

http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category...8182333nbzchPWC Got a little bit of a sample here, nothing too spectacular, but it'll help ease some people waiting to see this. I get about 4 or so messages a day on youtube of people wanting to know when the next release is. Sadly, they wont be seeing it on youtube.

I should have my VF-25G thursday when I get home. Vinnie was kind enough to ship it ASAP so I'll be looking at the clock at work all day. Thank GOD I get off early and I'll be doing shuttle drives, so my day will go by quick. -
I read the spoiler, if it's like that, I tihnk then I'll be pretty happy with the show ending....not completely happy as a few things left me going "Wha....that's just........bull" but it seems it'll be pretty cool. Is this only going to be an hour? or will it be a two hour finale like season 1?
-
Yeah pretty much a bummer when you get down to it. They'd have better viewership if they had better writers personally. Or if they were getting straight to the point with a few twists here and there but a lot of episodes didn't feel Terminator like....they felt like a drama that had no background. Well, maybe one day they'll continue it and be on a different channel...Fox is horrible place to put sci/fi dramas.

Congrats Graham. Tomorrow I'm paying off my VF-25G from Vinnie so I'll be sure to join in the fun with everyone by the middle of the week.
