  1. Good luck trying to find a 30th VF-1J. For me... I dont need the extra bits. I just ordered a regular J off of ebay.
  2. Looking for new or used version 2 1/60 VF-1's...

  3. Looking for new or used version 2 1/60 VF-1's...

  4. Looks good so far..... Can't wait to see it finished.
  5. Another group shot, for some color contrast....TV Roy VF-1S, VF-1D, DYRL Hikaru VF-1A, and a DYRL cannon fodder VF-1A.
  6. It is not a J, but a TV Roy on the right next to a DYRL A on the left.. Hope this helps.
  7. Do I hear a Shapeways fix using the metal material? No???
  8. Where is this NY???
  9. I got my V2 VF-1D 30th anniversary. But I got it myself....so I don't consider it holiday loot. I actually got nothing from my wife for X-mas. And yes...I got her something she wanted. I hate this time of year.
  10. The black looks not bad. I may have to get a set.
  11. I just watched your vid. Awesome stuff. One day I hope to get one.....
  12. I agree. A bit too slender. Gotta beef it up just a little.
  13. Worse case.... you could buy a 1/100 or a 1/72 Bandai one from Ebay. Those will be easier to get. OR.... I may sell mine.... for the right price. But it won't be cheap.
  14. cool8or, yours is beautiful.

    SOLD to Skull Leader.
  16. Those look like they are garage kits for the hasegawa kits. I have one that I will build one of these days. Check my kits gallery for pics.
  17. Please do. I want to see what the black looks like on the valks.
  18. Exactly. People should be comparing this to the old Imai 1/72 parts forming kit......not the V2 Yamato's. Yup...me too. I like the fact that these new ways of designing and revamping the good ole VF-1 are being used. I know the design has been played out......but I love the VF-1's. If it ends up looking similar to a Hasegawa design, but can transform.....the best of both worlds (toys, and model kits).
  19. I hear you big F....my collection is still mainly 1/55's, but I am now building my 1/60 V2 collection too. Part of me wants to sell the chunky monkeys......but I just can't part with them. I do still want to buy more 1/55's, since my collection is not complete.....but my funds don't allow me to. One day......one day....

Just a tip.... you can use the metal spring from a wooden clothes pin. Just trim to the size needed.
  21. Bumping an old thread. Anyone still mod these? Not mods, but custom parts. Rob Beers's clear casted canopies, and Chris's custom heatshields.
