Looks like you need to slide the nosecone out alittle bit. remember when you transform it to battroid, You have to push up the nosecone, for the heatshield to sit right. You have to reverse the process.... The metal where the nosecone slides on, should have a small gap in fighter, and no gap (like how you have it pictured), for battroid mode.

Man this thing is looking pretty detailed. I am going to have to buy at least one of these... -
Love the comparison pictures.... Can't get enough VF-1's.....
-
The J is the same white as my S on the right... Bright....
-
I posted this in another thread. My DYRL A next to the TV S:
-
All T.V. versions (VF-1J, and S) are bright white. All DYRL valks are the off white color. Do you have a picture of the box for the Hikaru S with option parts???
-
Exactly! I would gladly buy the older version 2's. Broken shoulders and all.
-
Still looks good. I would be happy..... The shoulders can be fixed easily. I just love the older rainbow canopy ones.
-
Oh.... new or used? Luckily I got mine when I did. It was for the $138 shipped. Bummer. That is the seller I got mine from. And they were the cheapest at the time.
-
Where did you buy it from? Looks like it has the rainbow canopy? I got mine from a seller on Ebay, and it has the newer clear canopy. If I didn't just buy a used one with the rainbow canopy off Ebay, I would have traded you with your cracked hinge and all.
-
Where can you order them??? I am interested to know....
-
I had a feeling about the price. And I was just asking.... curious as to see what they are going for now a days. And yes what you said is true, if you want it, you pay it. May seem high to some, but not to others. I am not sure if I would call my buying a frenzy cause of the new ownership and name change. More of an expensive catch up for the years I missed out on. From 2010 till about the middle of 2012, I was not visiting MW often, not collecting anything toy related.... I was into my other hobby. Now that I am back.... its hurting my wallet. I am selling off some of my other hobby stuff to fund this addiction.

Yeah, but how much did your Milia V2 1/60 cost you???
-
Yeah I know huh? I should have known that. I did leave in 09, and started coming back only last year. I missed out on a lot. Very nice customs though....very nice.

I have a blue strike also.... but no one seems to want it.
-
I got mine too. I paid a little more of the quicker shipping. I am a happy camper......for now....till my next fix. LOL

I forgot about all the other pieces that would be needed for those. The 1D is alot easier to build... cost wise. Did you try and see if a shorter nosecone piece is possible? One similar to the V2 1/60's? Since the 1/48's are detachable, you could make a stubbier one. I would buy those for my 48's.... along with a 1D conversion. I have an extra super Hikaru I could chop up.
