  9. WOW! That is some great skill. Could we see more pictures on how you articulated the pilot figure?
  10. Awesome thread. Mr. Cheng...... could you please list the tools of your trade..... I know you have mentioned in your various threads, but you should make a general list so people like me knows what types of steps you go through. I know you use a Badger 200 single action with the upgraded fine needle and head. Do you use those parts on all the steps of your builds? meaning like the main body parts to the fine panel shading that you do???Pressures etc... Also looks like you use the cup for the paints....is that cup big enough when painting the main body of the valk? or do you have to refill the cup in the middle of painting? Looks like the airbrush kit comes with glass jars to hold alot more paint than the cup does... Also...what are the painting steps and types that you use? and in what order? I know you use Tamiya acrylics for the base color, then you use the oil wash for the panel lining (brand?), then model master clear to seal what you have done. Then decaling....then reseal with the model master? I am not sure? I love your builds....I have been trying to re-read your old threads.....but some of the links are dead. If you could please take some time out of your busy day to make a general list....myself, and others here, I am pretty sure would greatly appreciate it. I am also aware that there are many various ways to achieve the same look... but I am fond of yours, cause I know how the general outcome will look like if I were to try them.
  11. What do you mean?!?! Where did you hear that? I did notice the 1/55's and the joke machines. I wonder if that guy Scott is a member here?
  12. I guess I was wrong. It was so long ago, I know I had to use the canopy off the Imai cause I didnt have one. I should check if my Yellow sub plain fighter has a pilot.
  13. Beautiful work... as always!
  14. Jefuemon, could you post a picture of yours? I just checked my unbuilt one and there is no pilot. I am curious to see it.
  15. Oh well... i just found it on the archived boards and added it to my signature. I am proud of that status.. since I am one of the few from waayyy back then to still be here besides Shawn and Graham.....
  16. Yes, the kit comes with a 4" pilot figure. I did not build it though. If you are talking about the pilot in the cockpit, I got him from the Imai valkyrie 4 type kit along with the canopy, since it was missing on the kit I bought used from the member here.
  17. Thanks. I am going to try and re take pictures of my other kits I built. I built 2 1/200 nichimo kits, a S Battroid, and a S super fighter... A Bandai 1/72 S full transformating kit, and an Imai 1/144 valkyrie 4 type fighter.
  18. Cool. Thanks!
  19. Here are some pics of my build I did years ago. I had a whole build thread, but I guess it was lost once they upgraded the forum boards. I tried to check in the old section, but it didnt go far back enough. I bought the kit from HLJ way back when, but didnt want to build it. Then another member here was selling one that didnt have a box and was missing the vacuum formed canopy, so I bought it and built that one. It was my first time working with resin. I think it came out ok. Anyway... onto the pictures. Box: Base Parts: Fighter: Base built: Artsy shot:
  20. How's about some Orange Collection ones? Here is my VT: And my VF-1S strike:
  21. Anyone know if these are still available??
  22. Kicker....nice collection. I remember back in the day....staring at Jerry's 1/55 wall-o-valks.....everyone's collection here is top notch..... lots to look at. Thanks for posting.
