    Good luck finding a detolf, both Ikeas (Alexandra/Tampines) are OOS with no estimated delivery date thanks to their promotion last week. Was hoping to get one myself.

    Does anybody know what color Gundam Marker can touch up the grey back-of-the-knee joint paint on the Yamato v2 VF-1 toys? My 1st release Fokker DYRL has scratched paint in this area.

    Just to update, I confirmed with buyee, if I change my invoice to underdeclare value then insurance will only cover the new value. So far EMS in Singapore has been pretty good, all my packages have been intact. Now to figure out the best combination of packages to maximize shipping...

    I finally used some blu-tack to keep the codpiece up. Hope my Basara custom doesn't suffer from the same problem.

    That's a good question, I will ask buyee customer support to verify. Though I think the insurance is probably based on the declared value.

    While we're discussing shipping, would you under-declare packages to avoid customs duties if possible? I have a lot of packages (>10 valks, I am ashamed to say) pending shipping in buyee and I really want to combine them to save on shipping but customs imposes a 7% tax on the total CIF value of a package (item declared value+insurance+shipping) if it exceeds SGD400 (roughly 31,900yen). I can usually combine 2 items to be under the limit but the shipping savings aren't too great. 3-4 items is much better but that easily exceeds the 31900 yen limit without including international shipping. Comments?

    Someone (not me) got a really good price on a low-vis 1/48 1A and SV-51 mass production on Mandarake just now.

    That was a really good price for the Cavaliers. Did you check Mandarake just now? I know they post items around 5-6PM JST but wasn't expecting them to update in the middle of the day.

    I just stumbled on that page a couple of days ago as well. I remember Yamato doing some tutorials for the v2 transformation back in the day but never saved a copy for reference.

    It seems to be missing the black marks on the chest plate and the black stripe on the heatshield, but that's just my opinion. How did you paint it?
