Battlestar Galactica.... where is it Ratchet? I also know some Firefly fans that will be a bit miffed too. My vote is on Galactica. -
Personally, I love the '11' but its the ford Pinto of valkyries look at a pinto = BOOM fly past a VF-11 (mac7) = BOOM

Lol, i know what you mean. I'd buy at least 2 of each...

I just finished making a mobile phone theme for Symbian models using series 60v3 (it might work on versions 1+2 too) thought i'd share with you all. By the way, they are real swine to create. Its working on my Nokia N76 right now with no problems. MacrossZero.zip (mods - is this okay to do?) EDIT - feedback is always welcomed

Concorde was well known for 'stretching' upto a foot during supersonic flight. IIRC this was discovered by a member of the cabin crew who after seeing a large gap in a bookshelf (?) thought that a passenger was still reading a book from the shelf when in fact it had already been returned. The gap dissapeared when the plane landed. (i remember that story from when i was a wee youngster) EDIT- Dr Hingten beats me to it again.
-
The MIG 31 could fly faster than concorde, but i think the orginal point was that concorde was designed for sustained supersonic flight where most fighters are only capable of short bursts of supersonic flight. Even the SR-71 only used afterburners to 'push' it through the sound barriers, IIRC it still had to "cruise" without re-heats. There are a few planes that could overtake the Concorde, but none could actually outrun it... no other plane could travel those distances at supersonic speed. (ok i could be wrong on that last bit... SR-71 notwithstanding) Thankyou Dr hingten - beat me to it..

Ah, but Concorde had another trick up its sleeve.... its was the amazing stretching airplane....

misterryno , it only seems like a couple of days ago that you were here asking for advice on which valk to get first .. now you're looking like a pro with the poses!!! I'm glad you got into the 1/55's.. too many people are Yamato blind and dismiss the chunky's. Good to see someone new with enthusiasm and love of the old skool (especially since he's new skool himself). Like your work.

Hi Mr F, Since i'm in the isle of man, i'm even more screwed than you (on the mainland)!. I found a pretty rough copy on demonoid.com but like i said its kinda rough. piratebay, torrentspy, nor isohunt have it yet either. I too am disgusted by split season dvd releases.. its just a greedy, crap thing to do. I am concerned about our Razor release.. will we even get the extended cut? will we even get it before xmas? who knows. -

yeah, the seemingly random descisions on content for dvd's between regions always gets my blood boiling.. I really feel for those in countries whose networks do not even schedule shows like BSG or Heroes etc, and the stupid fact that downloading a torrent of said shows in said country is till considered illegal (althought these shows will never be broadcast in those countries). I now start to wonder when we in the UK will see the Razor dvd. -

Fair point Chris.. we have had the S3 dvd box for a while.. but whats the betting that the region 1 box gets more extras. I just dont se the point of restricting online acces to something that will never be aired outside the continental US. -

Ok.. tried the ipblock thing and it still wont have it! I'm soooooooo aNgRY AT SCIFI for this... they know damn well that they will not be showing these on UK TV (even though Season 1 was shown here before anywhere else) or anywhere else for that matter, so i cant see the point in blocking people from viewing them online - its just plain stoopid Now i have to wait for a half decent one to appear as a torrent and D/L it... YES I WILL ILLEGALLY DOWNLOAD THEM BECAUSE YOU (SCIFI CHANNEL) ARE UTTER FASCIST MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phew.. i feel a little better now. Anyone else like to join me in a quick rant? -

Those utter W*nkers at scifi channel are blocking anyone outside the US/canada from viewing the mini-sodes on their site.... UK residents cant watch it on a direct stream... *gets angry.. clicks fingers for keyboard battle* didnt want to go the 'naughty' hack route but they leave me no choice.. time for ip address trickery. -
