  1. This kit keeps getting better all the time! Hopefully some more overtime swings my way so I can actually get one once its done.
  2. Sorry to hear the horror stories surrounding the 1/100 monster. I was very interested in getting one myself, but with all the delays SMT was giving customers I couldn't bring myself to pre order one. Now that the price is up to $250 its out of my range to get one. I hope this isn't the end for the monster, I still would like one in this scale.
  3. I was just curious if the V-11 or other valkyrie was in the works for hasegawa, any news yet?
  4. Wow! Can't wait to see this completed!
  5. Any pictures of the mecha yet?
  6. Wow! This is coming along nicely can't wait to see more. Hope you do the gun more like the curvy yamato gun....I think it just looks better than the bandai or Hasegawa's sculpt.
  7. Heard Robotech was going to come out with something called "Shadow Force". Is this connected with Sentinels or a completely new story line. What else is suppose to come out and what is it about?
  8. I think Jardann is right, do a Hasegawa. The overall kit is really nice and sculpted well. As far as how easy it is, you will need to do some puttying and sanding. From one beginner to another though I don't think its any worse than what you 've already experienced. Just my 2 cents.
  9. Was just wondering if the back of the head was part of the Hasegawa kit and do you still need to work on the head to make it look like the YF 19 head?
  10. Wow, this is cool! Always thought the Bandai 1/100 valk was too chunky, glad to see someone combining the two. Looking forward to more.
  11. Just bought an airbrush and some clear coat, but I don't know if you use the gloss straight from the jar or thin it out. The flat coat is pasty, how do I prep it for use in the air brush? What do I mix it with? Thanks
  12. Wasn't sure which forum to post this in, hopefully its okay. I was wondering if anyone has used this resin to make any models and if it is really as safe as it claims to be. Thanks
  13. Glad to see Hasegawa hasn't abandoned Macross. I'd really like to see a 1/72 VF-2SS and a Metal Siren, though I doubt either one would be made. Still think its strange Destroids and enemy mecha are not part of the deal. Perhaps Bandai will be reissuing those?
  14. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to check them out. Samurai Warriors sounds really cool, let me know if you come up with other games to check out.
  15. Pretty much as it says, which ones are the best for xbox? This includes rpg and Diablo style games. Thanks
  16. hate to do this, but please take me off the list. Thanks Dax415
  17. So far as I've watched the boards there have been some incredible build ups and scratch builds. I was wondering if the local guru's here would share how they build from scratch, what supplies to have, what materials to use and how to get things symetrical. Thanks
  18. I was just wondering which project was next up and how much it might cost? Thanks
  19. Does anyone have pics of a VF-9 or can direct me to some?
  20. Count me in for a GBP for a hase kit! Though I wish a VF-2SS was up there too.

    1/72 GBP?

I was just wondering if anyone has built a 1/72 GBP armor for a hasegawa battroid. Or is everyone just waiting to see if hasegawa comes out with it? Thx
  22. Was just wondering what the bandai 1/72 super valk looks like compared to the hasegawa. Is it the same as the bandai 1/100 just in 1/72 scale? Thanks
  23. Ok, finally "finished" a VF-2SS kit and I suck at painting the kit. I don't have a digital camera to show others what it came out like and even if I did, I'm a bit embarrassed by it. The only thing that came out was the armor. Although at least it is completed considering it is the first model kit I've done in since I was 14. I do have a lot of questions since I do plan to keep trying to do a good job on the next project as I am determined to build a decent model. On the VF2SS, any tips on how to airbrush the cockpit area? What about the leg portion where the armor and non armor over lap? I ended up painting with a brush in some areas and was wondering how others tackled this situation. Also what kits are the easiest to start with? Thanks --Dax
  24. Thanks guys, from the pics I still don't understand how he got it to transform and retain the heatshield. Does anyone have instruction scans of a 1/48 vf ? Perhaps even a Banpresto? Any help on this would be a great addition to what's already been shared Thanks
  25. Hello, Just wanted to see how feasible it would be to base a transformable Hasegawa on the transformation process of toy like a yamato, banpresto or the new K&M figs. After my vf-2ss is complete I'd like to start on a transformable low vis style valk. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
