I too would like to see Bandai take a crack at the Netflix version but I'm doubtful too. How tall is this supposed to be? Just wondering how it will look next to the Chogokin.

I'm wondering the same thing, especially with KC trying to milk their mold with variant paints schemes.along with massive discounts on them. At the same time, HG never makes any sense with anything they do so maybe 2 companies really will have licenses for the same scale toys.

Wow shipping is crazy. $91 for express to California and $58 for 4 month economy! Price of the items is definitely a great deal but I gotta think about this. I have the Yamato/Arcadia and Hi-Metal versions so not sure this is a must buy even tho I have most of the KC stuff too. -

It seems that HG still has a stranglehold on the original SDF Macross and any products from the original series. So likely no chance of the DX VF-1.

I was looking at the 1J at HLJ too and it's a great price. Also looking at the 35th anniversary color. I just have never been a big fan of the Hi-Metal VF-1 - the proportions just look a little off to me but I love Tenjn's box art. Oh well, maybe my kids can get scholarships when they're ready for college.

Being a 1/60 collector I didn't want to get into Hi-Metal R but the VF-2SS just looks too good. Bought 1 at Ami Ami and then said what the hell let me get another so I can open 1 and keep 1 MISB. Now should I start buying the rest of the line? Decisions...
