  1. I understand people really wanting this toy, and getting a little t'ed off at the situation, but if you guys don't overreact, and concentrate on finding one, you might actually do so. It's still a little too early to say what will happen come release date. Bandai may just decide to make more for the initial release. It sucks not being able to get one for those that want it, but I'm sure it'll all pan out. At least this isn't as bad as the Max and Miriya 1J v.2.
  2. Exactly. To add, I'm not paying for it all at once. Little here, little there. The cost for the kit is probably going to be around $500-$600, but all that depends on getting it done. Anyways, I'll keep all this info on the original thread I started. Don't wanna derail this one.
  3. Yeah, I expect this thing to cost upwards of $1K when I'm done getting all the parts. I'm expecting some won't fit right, or I'll have to shave a little off somewhere, broken parts, improved parts, etc. At this point, I design some, then order a part. The design is proably faster than the wait time. Nevertheless, I can't proceed too far ahead without solid parts in hand, as if one is messed up, so will th other parts be. I'm only as fast as the slowest part in the link. Hehe, sometimes the slow part is me. Donations will come out when it's done, I'm sure , and the time, and price of the first will have to be made up somehow, if I get enough orders when done. If not, I'll be 1 of 1 to have it, and it'll be something I always wanted for myself, so it won't be too bad of a sacrifice.
  4. Yeah, better late than never. The flip side of this coulda been "Not enough interest" or "Moving in another direction", which is just code for not gonna happen. Glad it's still coming.
  5. Good to know. I would love to see the pretty pics of it.
  6. If you have any left, I'll probably get one from you.
  7. I don't think anything (as of yet) is slated in terms of Macross for September. I put mine on preorder for this. It's too incredibly nice looking. If only it was in a 1/60 scale to match my Valks, I'd have it on display with them. Either way, I'll be swooshing this thing around the house.
  8. Holy crap, that thing is gorgeous.
  9. Noticed that a few days ago. I hope these can do the same thing. It looks very odd with the super football pads, or maybe something similar to that old style of women wearing the business jackets with the super stuffed shoulders.
  10. In battroid mode, the shoulders look extremely wide on this thing...moreso than the 17S. I wonder if that is one of the design flaws, or if it's just the color that puts it in the forefront.
  11. Works great! I'm used to uTorrent saying it's ready, so maybe it's just this new version? Don't know, but the quality is excellent. Thanks for putting this up. The quality is very good. You've done a good thing. Many thanks.
  12. 99.9% and it's been there for about 4 hours and o kb/s. I should've been done about 5 hours ago, but it just choked.
  13. That still sucks to not hear anything for 2 months. If you are paying someone to work on an item for you, and they're going to keep the item in their posession for a long time, you should expect them to communicate with you. Hell, it should be at least once a week, even if it's to say "I didn't do any work on it this week". Whether or not he goes on the Blacklist is totally up to you, but I'll definitely keep that name in mind of who not to use. There's just way too many sketchy people out there. I know we all wanna think the best of people, but in my line of work, you don't necessarily have that optimistic outlook on the general populace. Trust needs to be earned, not just granted, at least in my opinion. Anyways, I'm ranting some. I'm glad he did contact you. Hopefully you do get the item back in good standing, and that all parties are satisfied. Wish you all the best in seeing this thread close due to good handling.
  14. The fact that HG has to be involved, is a downer. I don't know anyone who stil plays the Robotech RPGs, but I'm sure there are those that'd still buy them for dioramas, hobby kits, and just to collect. The $15 mark, is that a goal for a complete set, or for one item?
  15. It's not even close to being done. Just have the leg parts here. Probably need some tweeking, but it does work. I'll be updating the thread I started soon, and hopefully will have more pics later.
  16. It's rather funny to see this fiasco play out. Utterly ridiculous.
  17. I don't know, I'd be pretty excited about a Miss Macross competition, and the stage events. Looking to go, too.
  18. It's definitely not going to be cheap. I've already bought leg parts that come out to $90, for one leg. Good news, is that the parts work great and it's possible to finish. Bad news, $$$$$, and a long buildup.
  19. I'd snap pics of mine, but it's in two different locations now, ad my cases just have tons of boxes stashed in them. When we move, I'm probably going to go with custom cases. I'd also like to put up some of the posters I have.
  20. Ahhhh, questions I wish I had the answer to. I still want that Gosu kit though. Can't find it anywhere.
  21. Thanks...much appreciated. It's running a bit faster, only 50 kb/s on average. Compared to earlier 2.2 kb/s it's at lightning speed now. Once I get it, I'll keep it seeded as well, as to get it out there faster. Yep and at this point, it's telling me only 4.5 days to go
  22. Is anyone seeding this now? At this point, I'm only at 18%.
  23. Hope you get a good deal for them. You should be happy with the release.
