I'm running the refresh system hardcore, so once I get the go ahead, I hope to get to it in time for me and the couple guys in the buddy system I have. This is crazy.

We will be moving, hopefully soon as well. The house just needs to be, well, cleaned. Other than that, we're going to have a toy room, then an actual office, room for child, and of course, ours. I want to get one of those oak tables that can flip the top to become a large poker table. I have too many toys now, that I can't do anything with, except keep them in boxes, and tons of model kits that I want to finish, but in an apartment, it just doesn't work the way I want it to. Ugh, hopefully this year.

I need to reinstall my CAD software first. Still on the legs. I got a printed set to measure it out, and it worked out correctly. I'll take some CAD shots of the two pieces to show how the pieces fit and work together.

Long time no update....THIS PROJECT IS NOT DEAD!!! There, I said it. Still working on it. I'm at a point now, where I've been doing a few things, and haven't had time to really get back to doing this in a dedicated manner. The project will pick up maybe mid month, after I get a few projects out of the way. Of course, some beautiful artwork of the VA-3 would always help inspire.

I would love to see the reactive armor set made. That would be the ultimate release for the 0 line, along with the 0D. I'd get 2 of the 0D.

You and I would think so, but there's too many unseen issues that could hinder this. Maybe they want it to be limited to create marketability for new, non reissued releases, maybe they don't want shelf stock, maybe they just wanted to redo these for the people who bought the first ones, I have no clue. Usually companies put in orders of 500, or in batches of 1000 increments. Maybe they didn't have data on how well these would sell until now, and they can approve for larger batch orders from the factory. There's just too many things we don't know. The only thing that's known now, is that having to wait, and hope for open preorders from HLJ, and other places, sucks.Edit: Just read the display options. That seems the best way to get the most, without having to overspend on 2 fast packs, 2 armor sets, and 2 tornado packs. LOL, glad to know there are others who've thought this out.

As for the Klan figure, I never got that armored figure version. I was supposed to, but backed out last minute. The one I did get, was the one that came in the Ichiban Kuji sets by Banpresto. The one that stands straight up without armor in the Meltrandi suit is pretty damn awesome.

Since I'm at home, I just do the refresh every so often for both hlj and ami ami. It is a real pain in the behind, but I really don't want to spend extra money. In anycase, I hope they decide to make the Tornado pack available for this one. I'd like to have my F with the Super pack, the S with the Armor pack, the G with the Tornado pack, and the RVF standard.

Well, if anyone asks about them, I just point out, that in a way, they're kinda hot. Noone has ever questioned my manhood, and the wife is ok with them, so it's really a non issue. If anyone were to ask why I own them, my response would be simply "they're hot." An anime with transforming jets, great songs, space battles, and hot animated characters, it's a whole package..

It's not counter productive, because if Bandai does make this another small run, the retailers don't want to overshoot their preorders, and run into the problems we've seen already with pissing customers off with unfulfilled orders. Until they get confirmation on numbers, they're probably underestimating the numbers they'll get. If it turns out that high numbers will be made, the retailers will be able to open the preorders up accordingly.

Holy crap!!! I've been trying my hardest to avoid this situation. I got my invoice for the VF-171EX, but debating if I should get it for myself, or give it up to someone else. As for the 29, I just can't get interested in that valk. I had the first release, and it just didn't do anything for me as far as spark my interest in it. I've been lucky with the 25F and S, so I'm camping at hlj and ami ami in hopes of the opening. I guess like many of you, I'm pot committed, and sticking this out.

All this scrambling really puts a sour taste in the mouth. As it stands, it's going to be a rough frenzy to get this one...and more difficult as further releases of Macross stuff come out from Bandai. My hope is that the last two releases spur Bandai to release more this time, and the short preorders are only on the retailers playing it safe.

I pm'ed those interested, but I don't know if we should keep them as smaller groups, in case there's a preorder limit. It seems like there are a couple others interested in doing this, so I'd suggest setting up another group of maybe 3 or 4 to work it out, and man the position for hlj. I'd hate to have to leave someone out because of preorder restrictions.

If anybody is interested in setting up a buddy system, let me know. I was thinking of getting two or 3 together, and we constantly watch hlj (or as much as possible). If/when it becomes available, put down an order for 2 or 3 in the group, to ensure that those that you teamed up with all get one. Likewise, if you are in the group, it'll ensure that you get one. I was thinking of doing this for hlj, and ami ami, should they put more up. If anybody wants in, I'll take the first two who pm me.
