Kurisama, keep the original design up, as it should work with the frosted ultra detail. That material has the lowest limits on structure requirements. I may just get it in that, but or those that don't want to pay that money, they can use the WSF or WSF Polished on the fixed version.

I have just about every one of them, with the exception of 3 or 4. If they are going to make these available, I hope they sell them separately from the valks. It'd be nice to be able to get these parts for those that want them for all their valkyries. I can understand having them come with odd colored valkyries, but what can you do. EXO made a set that covered the sides, neck and a seat awhile back ago, and while I don't know how many people bought them, there still seems to be a demand for them. If Yamato doesn't do it, we're left to our own creativity.

Man, what the hell is up with Shapeways. They can't print the HMM missile set either. I don't think they even tried. They are starting to suck now. They cancelled my order, then instead of refunding my money, decided to give me a store credit.

Well, considering Bandai wanted to sell the VF-25, if they made the 171 too badass, I don't think there'd be a need for the 25 in the series. It's a story designed to sell merchandise, and build the overall franchise. If they do make the CF version, I hope they make the accessories, like the radome.

Is Ami Ami a place holder as well, or did that sell out already? Second question, is it just me, or does HLJ seem to have increased the price of their shipping,...by a lot.? If that's the case, I may not make them my first choice anymore.

I thought about this myself, and while I don't think there's any "official" reasoning, my best guess would be that the various colonies use different fighters from different companies, and advertising and performance are important in selling weapons to the various colonies? I dunno, just my guess.

I'm not big on the 3D gimmick, at all. I find it distracting from what's really there, especially if it's not originally shot in 3D. I'd leave this as 2D. As for subbing the Minmay songs, I'd suggest doing it. having subs of the song shouldn't take up too much space, if done right. That's my $0.02.

Seeing those colors makes me even happier for the color scheme coming. I know it's probably just paint, and not the final color, but it looks damn good. I'll still probably get two.

I've been playing the live video everyday about 5 times a day since it's been found. LOL, I'm having a Mospeada renaissance in my head.

Shapeways is really starting to piss me off. The VA-3 project I'm working on had some parts I ordered sent just fine. Apparently now, they're not fine. What's even more frustrating, is that the thickness is within the range. For some reason, they've gotten worse as far as their tolerances, so I'm wondering if they got cheaper printers in or something? I try to use the Ultra clear detail stuff for things with smaller tolerances, and that seems to work fine. I also just ordered a 4 set of the HMM missile set of 4. Funny thing is, I was working on a set of these up till about 2 months ago. At least now I don't have to finish. I do have a question though, any updates on the Rau cannon?

I was going to do the same. I originally cancelled my preorder that at NY that was something like $220 shipped. A CF version I will definitely get, not an impulse buy like this one.

Damn, just picked one up for $150 clean, brand new, and shipped. I had no plans to get one, but at that price, I couldn't resist. Before anyone asks, it was a private seller. Now I will wait patiently for the accessories.

Damn, he still sounds pretty slick. That is badass!!! I would love to have been at that coffee shop. He still sounds like he did on the recording. That's a hard thing to do.

Did he do this video 25 years after the original recording? Absolutely love this song. This is what I think of when I see Mospeada, not Robotech's orchestra opening.

Just found all of my SMS, and VF 25 and Mihoshi Academy patches. I'm thinking Mihoshi academy shirt, and SMS jacket down the line. The shirt I can start next week. Gotta get a white shirt that matches the style this weekend.

I want to make one of these in 1/60 when I build my custom display section. It'll be where I take all my pics of these. It's an awesome diorama.

I don't have a problem with the version AT ALL. If they make one later, so be it, but I'm probably a small minority that doesn't need another Hikaru fighter to display. Variety is where it's at for me. I still plan to get 2.

While I could afford this without a hitch, I thnk I'll pass on that price. If HLJ puts it up with a decent price, I'll get one, but I'm not going to stress a non-canon, half-assed "Skull Leader" wannabe paint job.
