I was going to do the same. I originally cancelled my preorder that at NY that was something like $220 shipped. A CF version I will definitely get, not an impulse buy like this one.

Damn, just picked one up for $150 clean, brand new, and shipped. I had no plans to get one, but at that price, I couldn't resist. Before anyone asks, it was a private seller. Now I will wait patiently for the accessories.

Damn, he still sounds pretty slick. That is badass!!! I would love to have been at that coffee shop. He still sounds like he did on the recording. That's a hard thing to do.

Did he do this video 25 years after the original recording? Absolutely love this song. This is what I think of when I see Mospeada, not Robotech's orchestra opening.

Just found all of my SMS, and VF 25 and Mihoshi Academy patches. I'm thinking Mihoshi academy shirt, and SMS jacket down the line. The shirt I can start next week. Gotta get a white shirt that matches the style this weekend.

I want to make one of these in 1/60 when I build my custom display section. It'll be where I take all my pics of these. It's an awesome diorama.

I don't have a problem with the version AT ALL. If they make one later, so be it, but I'm probably a small minority that doesn't need another Hikaru fighter to display. Variety is where it's at for me. I still plan to get 2.

While I could afford this without a hitch, I thnk I'll pass on that price. If HLJ puts it up with a decent price, I'll get one, but I'm not going to stress a non-canon, half-assed "Skull Leader" wannabe paint job.

I haven't seen a double sided poster of that, but if there is one out there, I guess I have another poster to look for.

Why do people keep going back to the Yamato/Bandai thing (if there even is a "thing")? Then, whining about whining, just for the sake of whining? C'mon. people are going to complain about some things. Others will find it just what they wanted. I don't see the point in pointing it out.

It's not the best paint appeal out there, but it's appealling enough. It'd be strange if I get this one but not the Alto version. I wish they would've spent time on making the damn YF-25 Prophecy instead.

Technically, most of the valk toys made don't have wing ordinance as standard accessories. The gun pod is a standard accessory though. Maybe it's a bit too early to say what will come with this toy.

That's what I like seeing,,,toys being displayed. Boxes are cool and all, but the art in setting them up is what really makes these collections pop.

If Macross was to get a redo, I imagine it'd be something similar to that. I don't think it's bad in any way, it's just not the original.

All the merchandising (i.e. videogame rights) have been given to WB, in case their movie actually does see the light of day. That said, I wouldn't hold my breath for a Robotech game for a good long time.

I wanted to like it, but the game was full of bugs. There were places you could go into walls that you weren't supposed to, the characters walked funny due to not using motion capture, and the online play was just incredibly lame. As I was heavy into online FPS and SOCOM games then, I was asked by Tommy what they could do to make the game a success (he asked a few core people in their community back then). He preceeded to tell us all that they wanted to emulate Halo, and that was when my suggestion was to not do that. They were going to fall short if they didn't have the budget big enough, and it'd come off as a cheap copy of it. Along that, there were mentions that piloting the Legioss and Tread would be a huge bonus, and if the were going to do online, make sides of Invid vs. REF, not REF vs. REF. Needless to say, they didn't do anything I, nor anyone else suggested, and while he did let us play mid develop versions of it (early enough to where things could've been fixed), they did nothing. I played it for two days, and it's been in storage ever since.

Hmmmmm, part of me wants to utterly scream, but the logical side says that it's too early to do so. I also can't complain, as I have just about every version of this available to me.
