While I've been fortunate to get every Bandai release so far, this whole debacle over limited quantities has kinda turned me off to what they're making. I stopped caring about the YF-29 due to it, and the first version was just too bright. The same thing is happening with the VF-29 anniversary version, and I no longer care about that one, and with the way HLJ, and all these sites are treating the 25G, I've pretty much lost interest in that as well. If I am able to get one great, but I'm not going to stress it, or even bother to have it be a point of contention with me. My main focuses are the VF-4, to continue on designing the 1/60 VA-3, and working on a 1/60 shuttle that Misa and Kaifun get caught in, in DYRL. Aside from those, if things sell out, oh well.

Very interesting colors. I tried to do one of these customs in Tamiya, and for me, it just got scratched up when transforming it, so you'll need to be very careful. Lacquer paint seems to be much more durable, but I used much more of it having to spray in more, but much lighter coats. Can't wait to see this thing when it's done. Looking great so far.

Yeah, I've been on the lookout for that one since I saw it about 4 years ago on a website. Found this one, and although I knew it wasn't A, I wasn't sure if there was a C, or D book either. Got this for about $20.

Meet my new acquisition. Not sure exactly which one this is, but it's pretty much all Mylene. If anyone has info on which book this actually is, I'd appreciate it.

If you're using Tamiya, those are acrylic paints. BTW, this custom is looking great. I may decide to run some LEDs in mine when I work on it.

I'm wondering if maybe it's the televisions people are using? I'm using an LED HDTV, and for the most part, the picture is extremely clean. Yes, there are spots that it's not a refined, but most IMO, seem to be when the Zentraedi are talking with the subs on.

I actually like the head on this version. It looks like a robot, and not like a non-speaking character. Put in my preorder.

I like the color of this valk, but to be honest, the darkness of it makes it a little plane IMO. Don't know if I'm going to get a second one. I'll probably keep that extra money for the new 19 coming, or just apply it to the pair of VF-4s I want.

Saw that poster at anime expo this year, and passed it up. He was selling it for $120, but I'd rather have a DYRL movie poster in that size, or the Pachinko game itself.

There's a couple who responded to the FB event as well that are going, but are asking the address. Do we have the place confirmed yet?

The Roy 1S has matching color, just like the original, just with no damn fast/strike packs. Grrrrrr.

Just got mine in about an hour ago, along with a DYRL Hikaru 1S and a Fokker 1S with extra parts. Gotta say, I don't think I've ever received 3 toys at the same time. It was like Christmas today. Overall, I like the Cavaliers version. It's a bit darker than I thought, but not bad looking at all. I wish it came with optional heads, as a 1J for this would've been preferred much more, but I can definitely live with it. After these, I really realized that my little office is running super short on space. Closet is maxed out, IKEA display cases are maxed out, and I barely have room above the IKEAs for anything else. As we're moving soon, I'll have a dedicated room for these, but man, It's gonna be a tight fit now. Gonna have to start putting these in moving boxes soon.

Started watching Black Butler, and Shingurui: Death Frenzy. Black Butler is supposed to be serious, but has a lot of, well, forced comedy that kinda throws it off. I'm sure all the girls like it for it's Yaoi-able characters. It's decent. The minor characters are what make the show funny for me, though. As for Shingurui: Death Frenzy, this is a very dark, serious, and violent anime with samurai and swordsmen. Probably not one for the kids.

This will be a definite buy for me. I gotta start working on a little more discretionary income though.

I'd like to believe that, but we're talking about a valkyrie that 1)Isn't well known amongst general fans 2)Isn't even the FB2012 version and not the "hero valk" and 3) Is already on some weird exclusive preorder for Japan residents only deal. I hope it is readily available, and I'm just wrong, but we'll see.

With that, I could afford 3 of them. I have a feeling they're going to be a little more. I'm more concerned with the ease of getting thm. If HLJ has them, we should be alright, but I have a feeling that these are going to be a bit more difficult to get.

Is there any updates on the price of this thing? I thought they were going to announce a price at Wonderfest, and hasn't that come and gone already?

Looks great. I'll probably get all these parts. For Frontier, the cannon is on the back of the missile compartments, am I correct? I can't remember now, but if that's the case, I'll be getting that as well, if you are making the base for it. Can't wait till these are ready for purchase. Awesome work.

I ordered the LE boxset. I also paid upfront, so I don't know if that has anything to do with me getting it today vs. being in the same waiting game. I also paid via paypal. Don't know if that helps, but hope you don't have to wait too long.

OK, just saw the entire BD through, and some thoughts on the edits and changes. The part where Milia steps on the head isn't completely invisible. It still shows, just with a photoshop blur to it. The second cut of the guy getting his head cut off is not in it at all. I thought I'd have an issue with that part, but before this edit was done, showing the guy get decapatated, during the turning resolution of the movie was kinda a drawback. I'd be fine if it were in, but again, not a distraction having it out, and works just fine. As for "Ai Oboeteimasuka" BGM not being in the part just before Minmay comes to that realization that she needs to sing, that kinda bothered me. I was hoping it wouldn't be too much of a distraction, but knowing the original, it's there, and noticable. It by no means destroys the movie, and the same effect is there, just not as powerful a moment as with the buildup to that point where she takes the stage. I also watched the theatrical release, and the edits are there too. Bummer. However, I don't have any of the supposed audio discrepencies that people were talking about, so that's a good thing. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Could've been a little better without the edits, but as quick as they happen, the great quality and sound put you right back in it.

Mine is the same part of footage, just taken before yours, as mine is a little bit further away, maybe? Cool stuff. BTW, I'm watching it now, and got past the part where Milia steps on the Zentraedi head. It's blurred, but you can still see it. It doesn't detract from the movie at all. It'd be nice if it wasn't blurred, but not much you can do at this point. The picture overall, is absolutely beautiful. You can see all the lights of the Macross at the beginning, the stars in the background, and what seems to be the milky way, which is something that was lost in previous versions. The bacgrounds of this are much more beautiful than I had imagined.

The way the wings curve on the 21/22, I kinda wish they would've put hardpoints on those wings. Speaking of, I don't remember the 21 ever having ordinance on the wing, but having the option would be nice.
