  2. I have no clue what it is, or what's in it.

    Macross figures

I sooooo want that Mylene figure in Ranka outfit. I'm getting one whether or not there is a group buy. There's only 2 or 3 that I know of, but this one takes the cake.
  4. The VE-1 first release had good shoulders, and was one of the first valks to include the new crotch attachment. This one shouldn't be muc different. With the exclusion of the canopy tint, I prefer my VE-1 than this one. I do want the attachment parts though. Oh well.
  5. Saw it at my local Kinokuniya. I'll probably pick it up next time I go into work.
  6. This is a want for sure.
  7. There's quite a bit of line art out there in the This Is Animation book, #10 I think. I have tons of it, but honestly, I'm too lazy to scan it and put it up. If you search around, maybe your best bet would be to buy the model kit of it. That will give you an idea of each part separated. It's a decent kit. I have that as well, just never built it.
  8. That thing is one ugly money sucker, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hope you enjoy them.
  9. That's what burns me about USPS. I was sent in the same tube, and they had only minor dings and such. Then it gets sent by USPS, and they must've put it through a paint mixer. Sorry to see what happened. I sent you a message on PM on possible solutions.
  10. It's not just for earthquake protection. Like I said, many people use it for holding sculptures in place, keeping pictures hung on walls from tilting, as well as many other uses. It's pretty common stuff. They probaby even have it at Wal Mart.
  11. 2 on order for me. This should be a great Christmas.
  12. Some refer to it as earthquake putty. It's great stuff, and doesn't transfer permanently onto your toys. Just a few small beads well placed of the stuff will hold toys in place pretty well. When I had my displays out back in the day, they held up well through a couple 4 earthquakes. Duhhh, just saw the link and the proper name for it. If you go to Home Depot or any of those places where you need a map, just ask for earthquake putty, and they should point you to the place. It's great for pictures and all sorts of stuff you don't want moving, like sculptures, vases, etc.
  13. I mentioned that, because a couple fanboys have already written that into a fandub. It's all the rave, NOT!
  14. Ahhhhhh, I see. Didn't you all know that Isamu is Rick and Lisa's child? He had to change his name so he wouldn't be looked at with special perks. OK, ready for Creative director position.
  15. I'd love to hear and explanation of who this Rick Hunter character is in the Macross franchise, as he never existed in Macross.
  16. That's not how it happened, but anyways, I don't know if that would happen, but it does throw the question of that in the fray. In this case, I don't think the "bad publicity is good publicity". Even as minor as this issue seems to be for the company, a few of us have been having a field day with it.
  17. I don't think the statute of limitations applies to convictions that were made within the allotted time. Once convicted, they can't just appeal it out. That's not how it works. Anybody who thinks that, is simply ignorant on how the system works. I will say this. I don't think it will amount to much either. If anything, he may spend the rest of his life trying to appeal the conviction, and never serve a day in prison. That lawyer is going to be rich, that's for certain. As far as Macross is concerned, whether it does or doesn't have anything to do with it makes no difference. I have a little knowledge on what ifs, but there's no point in going there. I just thought this article was interesting.
  18. Trust me, a lot of us are laughing, too. Is it strange to do the proverbial Hi-five at this point? It's great seeing criminals get what they deserve.
  19. One can only hope, right? Hell, even if it didn't benefit Macross in any way, I'd like to see Robotech finally R.I.P. It had its day in the 80s, and the "creative" team that's there now have made a bad story, unbearable. It just needs to go, along with the stupid anime panels, along with some of the lame fans, and pretty much every idea of bringing this back. 3 years though, is kinda only a slap on the wrist. Realistically, it may only delay a few things for the franchise. We can only hope for much more, but that's what I'm thinking.
  20. From what I'm aware of, he's still in the U.S., so the question of extradition will be in play. Being that the FBI was involved here, maybe they'll be happy to see him go. To add, as he's like 80+ years old, I wonder what all this holds in store. Hopefully Tatsunoku will be wise and decide to pull it all back from them. HG now has a bad reputation.
  21. http://www.nzweek.com/world/italys-berlusconi-sentenced-to-four-years-in-jail-for-tax-fraud-18123/ Thought this was a very interesting read. I wish there was a Robotech thread to put this up in, but since there isn't, I'll just make a new thread for it. Quite the interesting predicament, and was probably due for sometime.
  22. Congratulations to Kicker773, you are the proud owner of one of the signed Kawamori posters.
  23. Awesome, Maiden. I'm bringing some posters from my own collection to sell, some misc. Macross items, and the remaining Spiderbug kits at a discount. This should be a lot of fun. Can't wait.
  24. I thought Yamato peaked in here from time to time. I think just about everyone wants these (at least the multitudes that missed out the first go round). That's easy money in the bank at this point.
